I have no idea what may be the reason for the error, maybe: - you must save in csv (ms-dos) - you must provide the exact path of the file's location - maybe there are some errors in the excel file itself that catia macro can not convert you must try again to do everything step by step

Have you or know of anyone else that has this subject and video with voice explanation while showing in the video. I'm finding it difficult to follow with no voice teaching as you would normally experience in a classroom setting.

Initially what I am trying to do is find the best way to create a tool and fixture library as solid models in Catia V5 so when I start a CNC Cam program I can doe a "New From" Cat Product that will have all the various tools,vises,etc. that I will be useing on my Fadal 3 axis vertical machining center. This also will help me in tool-path replay for any crashing conditions and make setting up machining jobs much more quickly and efficiently. I do not quite understand your question? but: when you open "Macros" and you do not see in the available macros list "MyCatalogVB2.CATScript" you have to add the path: 'x:\CATIA V5-6R2016\win_b64\startup\Manufacturing\Samples' by clicking on 'Macro Libraries' and 'Add existing catalog' and now you must have in the available macros list.
now it is okey I want to ask you about other thnik plz ! after this step , how you can do your own assemblege holder_tool !! with the tools_cataloge you build

I created tool names for myself for the purposes of this tutorial, if you want to have real names, go to the manufacturers website tools.

Hi sir, Can we add the "Number of fultes" in the EXCEL? when i add this, I use marco, the fultes can't connect to the tool
you can manually change the number of fultes in the "Technology" tab, how macro doesn't want to do it properly.

I'm not sure but maybe you have some error in the path you are giving when selecting the macro, you need to check everything carefully.

Unfortunately, I don't know anyone who would have a tutorial version with voice, or you can write, I will try to advise you.
