Hope you don't mind me saying, since you've had your own channel, you seem so much happier, chatty and with more explanations.
Still impressed with how much pottery made not 20 miles away from where I live finds it's way to some tiny town in the middle of who knows where.
Thanks for all your hard work in doing this, really appreciated.

When I was a kid, we had a Watkins/Fuller brush man living on our street in California that my mom bought stuff from quite often. He and his wife would give out treats and bottles of soda to the kids when we played in the street. He was more of a family friend than a salesman.

Growing up in Minot North Dakota we often went to my aunt and Uncles farm near Garrison. Rose Glen to be exact. a cousin my age used to rip off his shirt and do his business nearly wherever he felt. Sometimes near a rock pile. Use your imagination as to what he wiped with the shirt.
I often LMAO and oll on the floor when you discover various garments in the pits. When my cousin took off his shirt it was because he did not have toilet paper with him at the time. It was invented in the 15th century but I suppose in rural areas it was expensive. So were shirts. But we always wore a shirt. Never wore toilet paper.

You should make a video of tasting 100 plus year old wine found in outhouse pit, might get some views for that. These messy pits have to be kinda rough, getting your skin soaked in whatever contents are mixed up in the mud slurry. You find a lot of good bottles, cook ware, and other really neat stuff people dumped as trash over a hundred year's later. I'm guessing people never thought their outhouse would become buried treasure lol. I like it when you show the stuff cleaned up, maybe you could do a video showcasing your finds, because i would really like to see some of the colored bottles cleaned up, along with the different item's made from glass and other materials. Thanks for another great video. G-d bless.

As far sd value, most are what I consider to be “recycle grade” but every once in a while a “holy grail” is uncovered that can be worth hundreds or even thousands. I’m in the process of writing a book on bottles and am including values based on previous auction results and private sales.

Hi Tom👋🏻! I know you said something about rotten eggs, but really how bad is it. If the wood is preserved then how bad is the smell. How long after crawling out of the hole does it take for your nose and lungs to be clear of that smell? Also, I am wondering who is doing your filming now? Possibly a small introduction would be nice. They are doing a fantastic job filming and catching the hand offs. Curious to know your about Carhart suit, how do you clean it? Do you take it to the car wash and power wash it or lay it on the lawn to scrub most of the mud off?. Tide must be your friend. Great work!

Some amazing finds in a very dirty, and clearly exhausting, dig. In wet extractions like this, I'm surprised you don't use the water more to wash the finds off with for better clarity to the camera view and yourself. That Coke bottle find is a fantastic find. Such a rarity. Doing a Google search, I'd have thought sales prices for those would be way higher than discovered. The highest one I found in a quick look was $50. Would be very interesting to have one of those wine bottles tested for ingredients and then have that formula remade for the public.

Green paints where made using mainly copper as the ingredient, in the 1800's arsenic was also used to a much lesser degree, in the 1900's some greens colours relied on Cobalt oxides. White paint used lead oxide, this was eventually replaced with non toxic Titanium oxide in the later half of the 20th century. Other paint colours where created using very toxic metals such as Mercury and Cadmium.
