I ❤Trader Joe’s! I haven’t seen this at my local store yet unless it’s sold out. Seems like many items come in and are swiped up so fast that they’re hard to get! I agree with Kevin on a preference for cherries over cranberries though but really would like to try the crust!
I’m so glad I saw it. I thought it sounded so good. I was wondering how tart it would be. I love how you describe the crust and how almond flavor comes through! A cherry pie would be great! Thanks for a great review.
Dear Tami and Kevin, shalom again from your biggest fan in Israel! As Ive told you in the past, I watch all your videos, but I do get a special kick when you try something that is Kosher (I only eat Kosher food). Especially when you say it is Kosher! That triangle on the box, that says CRC and Dairy underneath it, is one of multiple Kosher certifications. As you know, things here have been very difficult this past year. Since the war started, Ive been volunteering every week with kids, wounded, evacuees etc... All the volunteering I do is in honor of my dearest mother, of blessed memory. It is her 8th memorial today. My mom was my teacher, my best friend, my guide and my light. She, along with my father, raised me to be who I am. We shared so much in common and were able to do so much together. Yet there is never really enough time, especially when she is taken back into God's embrace so soon. He wished to take back his flower, and my family can just be thankful that we had her for the time we did. Among many things, mom was the best cook, and her thanksgiving meals were amazing! But as the memorial is tonight, I chose this Thanksgiving not to be at a meal. Ill miss the turkey and fixings at where ever I might have gone, but I chose instead to dedicate this week and day's volunteering to her. To help out even more with evacuees, wounded, sick children (who will be getting a delivery of action figures, books and comics) etc.... I only ever wish to make her proud. She was so amazing at always helping those in need. So on this night, whether you celebrate thanksgiving or not (even if just as a reason to have good food with friends and family), please be thankful for that which you have, and the loved ones still in your life. Please send the rest of the family regards from the Holy Land.
They sold out pretty quickly at my local Trader's Joes probably because it's a rarer flavored pie than the traditional holiday pies (pumpkin pie, sweet potato etc..). I agree whip cream would be great to counter the tartness. Speaking of whip cream, you should definitely review Target's new Favorite Day Holiday Eggnog canned whip cream, probably the best limited flavor they ever made !!!!

I will try and find this at TJ. For sure whipping cream will be the topper here!
