Rube and Mandy at Coney Island 1903 Silent Film
A country couple entering Steeplechase Park. They proceed to amuse themselves on the steeplechase, rope bridge, the "Down and Out" and riding the bulls. The scene then changes to a panorama of Luna Park, showing Rube and Mandy doing stunts on the rattan slide, riding on the miniature railway, shooting the chutes, riding the boats in the old mill, and visiting Professor Wormwood's Monkey theatre. They next appear on the Bowery, visiting the fortune tellers, striking the punching machine and winding up with the frankfurter man. The climax shows a bust view of Rube and Mandy eating frankfurters.

its interesting to see how innocent adults were in these very old amusement park/carnival videos....its as if the teens and adults were like young children themselves....people off all ages playing together and may not even know each other O.O Like everyone is pretty much a perpetual five year old...yet the adults(as well as the kids) were probably far more responsible then they are today..but the adults of today are often also a snooze fest and i am an adult...Seeing most adults at amusement parks today they seen hot, tired, crabby, wanting to be home ,miserable, yelling at their kids for the most part...and for the younger adults they usually have to be drunk or high to act like that....i dont get why though.
