Matthew Stafford absolutely balled out in his return to Detroit , I give him a ton of fricking credit for playing the way he did , even though he lost I mean his sidearm is still one of the best throwing arms in the league, but yeah I know he wished he could’ve won this
This highlight reel is like most QB's career best throws highlights. He did it 1game smh. I hope fans start to really appreciate what Stafford has done and continues to do.
Man he balled out, if we had lost this game I still would’ve rooted for him for the rest of the postseason tbh. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the rams make another superbowl run next year unless Donald retires Stafford regresses or Mcvay leaves
3 at most. The Super Bowl will be back at SoFi Stadium in 2027. I think Stafford and Donald will retire after they try for another shot at the championship that year it’s back in L.A. (2027)
He was just so accurate. I think there's a good chance they would have won if K. Williams wasn't hurt; he's key to moving the ball in the redzone. Still, I'm a Lions fan, so woo! Playoffs!
I always find it funny when screen passes are included in these "best throws" comps lol, but Stafford was amazing this game. It's a shame they lost given how great he and Nacua were
If detroit would've tried to put together the team they have now around stafford when they first drafted him in 2009 he'd easily be a top 5 all time qb rn, the numbers he has now while spending all those years there in detroit makes you wonder where he'd be if he had a team
We all can admit Rams and Lions trade swapped of the two quarterback both numbers 1 overall pick was the best trade in history because it worked out for both teams even if Lions don't win the super bowl doesn't mean the Rams are that much better this game proved it 😮
Wow - as a Lions fan I'm sure I said literally that for years when Stafford was with the Lions. Hard to remember if I was just making excuses or not.....

Literally 😂😂
Imagine believing that flashy throws makes a good qb...
@@BpLavoieimagine thinking Stafford isn’t a good QB.
Stafford has the best sidearm throw in the league… makes it look so effortless
Mahomes?
@@Woeisme2stafford has been doing it longer and better

He lost
None of those thing will happen, rams have all their picks and 50 plus mill in cap space
@@joeg1897 I’m a lions fan
@@itsswink7785the rams have their draft picks for the 1st time since 2016 and they have possibly the best eye for talent in the later rounds
That will not happen as long as my Niners put them in check
Dude literally got knocked out and came back respect.
Stafford was gunslinging until his last dying breath. True warrior.
I can see him play for another 5 years.

I hope he’s still on this level for another 5 years. He’s so borderline Hall of Fame he probably just needs one more Super Bowl appearance or win.
Hell nah 3 at max

I wish my team won, but your Lions earned it. I really hope they beat San Francisco if they advance to the NFC Championship Game.

Since Miami decided they didn't want to play football anymore, I'm hoping the lions get an sb win this year.

That’s cute

Goff and Stafford gotta be some of the most accurate QBs in the game I never see them throw any interceptions
The Rams Defense wasted that performance by Stafford.

Sure it didn't

Dude he is so good that madden would give him an 80 overall. Someday he will be better than prime Carson wentz.
What does this have to do with the Chiefs winning another SB? 🏆
Man we should have won this game easily.Bad no calls and bad play calling inside the 10 yard line 😩

Refs won it as usual. NFL always does this 😅
Yup interference at the end but refs didn’t call, it should be Rams first down
Wouldn’t have even been mad. I’d still take Ole Matt over Jerry anyday
Good try rams
Dot you just love mattw saferd wall i Dow go mattw
Hey NFL can I get a pin pwease 🥺
Best throws wasn’t enough.
#FAITHFUL
Lions fans remind me of school on Saturday..... No class
Stafford was mahomes before mahomes. Obviously not as good, but Stafford and mahomes just make throws nobody else on the planet can make.
Saved by the refs .
Lol
Well could be his last season 😔
Not a chance they gonna make a run next year
Maybe if MS didn't get cute with his throws, they would've made more completions, regardless of the poorly missed PI called on Nacua
Lmao he still balled tf out Detroit is just better
he completed nearly 70% of his throws lmfao
