all the bright places is one of my favorite books of all time, i cried for hours after finishing it bc it was genuinely so beautiful but also so sad i felt like those characters were real people 😭 what make it worse is that it was written after real people and real life events so if you choose to read it be prepared, it is really, really sad but also something you need in your life!!!
@@jjlp2577 i think about finch and violet every day, that’s how much impact this book had on me 😭 if you’re looking for a similar book, one of my other favorites is the story teller by antonia michaelis, it has a similar story line but still very different from what’s happening. it’s equally as beautiful, i’ve just never heard anyone talk about it bc it’s by a german author and not very known 🥰

But my account got hacked so I can't see the messages we sent each other anymore! Either way I loved this book and a year ago when I heard you mention our conversation in this video I was so excited! Im not sure if you know this but the author is coming out with the guys perspective! Love you so much Sara

I love the Full Tilt duet and Emma Scott, she's become a favorite author! All In actually put me back together (still bittersweet but so beautiful). You said you liked Theo, the sequel gives you his pov as well. The quotes & character growth are beautiful. Also, her book The Butterfly Project (standalone) is probably my favorite of hers so far! It's so sweet, has a lovely happy ending, an artistic element, self-forgiveness themes, ptsd rep, talks about butterfly effect/chaos theory. Zelda, the female lead of TBP, is introduced in All In, as a friend of Theo's (don't remember if she was in the 1st). I adore Beckett from TBP! (And there's a book for Darlene, a side character from Butterfly Project, called Forever Right Now (still need to read it). I love her writing!
Sara, you are one of my fav booktubers ever!! I absolutely adore you. The book You Were There Too by Colleen Oakley was pretty good ngl. Kinda boring at times but I ended up rating it a 4 stars.
personally i loved all in more 😭 for me it felt justified and nothing was forced it all happened pretty naturally and it restored my heart from the first one
I rated the full tilt 5/5 and all in 4/5 because I cried more in the first book and get emotional more but Theo was so so attentive in all in so u will definitely love it

All In does start out with their friendship though which I really liked. Also, if you liked the writing but not necessarily the story, I’d recommend reading Between Hello and Goodbye. It’s another book by Emma Scott that’s similar but I think isn’t as sad and depressing as Full Tilt.
This is great! I enjoyed The House Across the Lake. Lol I go back and forth between romance and thrillers too. If you haven't read it yet, I just finished The It Girl by Ruth Ware, and loved it! I couldn't put it down!
