Countess Emilie - "He will be loved, shine, like the sun" Beatrice - "By killing me? What, are you stupid? He's going to get real mad, and then kill everyone else here in return by the grief you caused him."
She’s very intelligent, but also was a member of the Order. She still believed that they were the best course of action. After all, she’d done everything she could for Hugo, and clearly it didn’t do much. They also hint that the Order’s like the head honcho when it comes to alchemists, and so I’m assuming she knew them from a young age, when she got into alchemy. She didn’t know about Basileus or any of that. She just tried to do the best she could for her son. Not saying you’re wrong, but she was still intelligent, just naive and too trusting of the order.
@@GabbyJFS_02 it’s not just about the order I was referring to. She constantly put Amicia and Lucas in danger by sending them to do dangerous tasks when they are both just children themselves.
@@Wild-Card34 That's fair. Although from what little we see in the game and cutscenes, Amicia was likely better off fighting soldiers than Beatrice, who has absolutely no fighting skills. And you have to remember it's a video game so we're going to have to let the protagonist do things. But I think maybe they should have expanded on it and had a better explanation as to why Beatrice couldn't do any of it. Maybe she was just too afraid to leave Hugo alone again? I don't know. I still appreciate her as a character though.

Yessss😟🔥
Arnaud's is being published 😊
I enjoyed this game but Béatrice is meant to be an intelligent woman yet her decisions in Requiem were just plain idiotic
