My top 7 favorite comic book movies (1 movie per franchise) 1. Spider-Man (2002) 2. The Avengers 3. TMNT (1990) 4. Batman (1989) 5. Superman (1978) 6. Ironman 7. The Mask
20willsdude I'm ok with not rebooting blade, there are enough movies and things coming out that I am fine without seeing it. That being said I do think the original success of blade was what led to studios funding new marvel properties again like X-men.
Batman franchise didn't die in 1997 was still in the comic books and also TV series Batman Beyond January 10, 1999 to Dec. 18, 2001 so 3 seasons and 52 episodes. Plus the 1966 Batman series and even earlier Superman TV series from 1952 to 1958 are still in reruns.
You know, Tim Burton's Batman movies get largely forgotten in superhero movie discussions. yes, maybe the last Batman movie with Schwarzennagar and Uma Thurman was not great, but the movies brought Batman to hungry fans. I could have done without that guy actor in Batman 2 (he was good as The Doors musician, but not as Batman). Clooney wasn't all that better. But Burton allowed Pfeiffer to portray Catwoman and DeVito was great as Penguin.
Blade was a DAMN GOOD movie series. THAT...that would have ...should have..been the time they introduced Werewolf By Night and the Vampire King antihero. But they didn't.
the PHantom doesn't get enough respect. It was a good movie. And I have a collection of his newspaper weekly comic strips. It was great. But young people don't know who he is, They also don't know who Terry and the Pirates were.
Brody Bowen doesn't mean he can't like those movies. It's ok to like Avengers and the nolan batman films even if everyone likes them. everyone likes them probably because they are good.
Christian Santana and fucking hell man obviously he can like whatever he wants! i still dont know why he said a change from the exact story when comics take place in several universes ranging from spider man being gween stacy to miles morals. And im not saying its wrong to like avengers or the nolan films so dont know why you said that either. I think the point im trying to make is about 90 percent of the people who go to see these blockbuster superhero movies never touched a comic. maybe less idk. I dont care. I just think its sad how people like jack kirby will never be recognized nor will anyone give a shit, and the artists who created these heroes in the first place will remain in the shadows. instead we get people with superman tattoos who don't know who grant Morrison is, and die hard superman fans ready to prove to batman fans that superman will kick batmans ass. when in dark knight returns batman kicked supermans ass in the mech suit that they are using. and going off that dudes logic... everyone likes a change of pace from the exact story robin still doesnt wear tights!? and jesse eisenburg is lex luthor wich im excited for
I don't know if there's a distinction between superhero and comic book, but offhand I'd have to say that so far I have a tie between the first Capt. America and Man of Steel. Although, I'll admit X-Men: Days of Future Past is high up there, too.
Brandon Mallard most comicbook movies are superhero movies yeah but some comicbook films are't really about superheroes so much as exciting heroes. Guardians of the galaxy for example is more of a space opera than a superhero movie though that one is a grey area.
What I'd to see on the big screen is a reboot of the Green Hornet and this time keep Rogen near it. Also I'd like a Captain Marvel movie that's worthy of us fan boys. Not a damn Saturday morning kiddie show.
Wonderful Wizard of Oz was in some ways similar to Star Wars and made in 1910 as serial films. They also copied Buck Rogers, Flash Gordon, Camelot, World War 2 and other films.
Nice job Super Comic FunTime! Cool how you went back all the way to Flash Gordon serials.
i love to see another daredevil and even a deadpool movie
The Phantom: Ghost who walks, man who cannot die.
All the Ron Man movies and the Captain America and Thor sequels! Wouldn't we all want to see a justice league movie??
"The Mask" !!!
On TV, we had the great run of Bill Bixby's The Incredible Hulk series.

2. The Avengers
3. TMNT (1990)
4. Batman (1989)

5. Superman (1978)

7. Power Rangers (1995).
8. X-Men (2000)
You didn’t mention the silent era movies like Tarzan of the Apes (1918) or The Mark of Zorro (1920).
Blade should have gotten a mention that they sparked the marvel movies momentum.
people want Blade to be rebooted, I say no to that notion.
20willsdude I'm ok with not rebooting blade, there are enough movies and things coming out that I am fine without seeing it. That being said I do think the original success of blade was what led to studios funding new marvel properties again like X-men.
Great fun. Just a quibble. After Batman 1966, nothing. "Barbarella," anyone?
Superhero started in 1820 with ivanhoe
1928's Patoruzu
the first superhero 1916's Judex.
89 batman and the first spiderman are underrated
although bladecame first it was more a vampire movie than a superhero movie
I'd like to see King's Maker as a movie it would be epic
You left out James Bond, Tarzan, Conan the barbarian, Red Sonja and Sheenah queen of the jungle.
the first superhero movie (but not comic based) was 1916's judex
Chandu the magician was serial film in 1933.
You know, Tim Burton's Batman movies get largely forgotten in superhero movie discussions. yes, maybe the last Batman movie with Schwarzennagar and Uma Thurman was not great, but the movies brought Batman to hungry fans. missed watchmen, not only the comics movie, but something more..
I'm not sure why, but I really want to see Howard the Duck now
the PHantom doesn't get enough respect. It was a good movie. And I have a collection of his newspaper weekly comic strips. It was great. But young people don't know who he is, They also don't know who Terry and the Pirates were.
my favorite comic movie has to be either the avengers , the dark knight , the amazing spider man 2 or the 2004 punisher
ok cool you obviously dont read comics and follow a band wagon
Brody Bowen ? i read comics. i just like a change from the exact story,
Brody Bowen doesn't mean he can't like those movies. It's ok to like Avengers and the nolan batman films even if everyone likes them. everyone likes them probably because they are good.
sorry... i know, i havent seen this shit since 2014 its been a whole year, i swear i matured a little
Christian Santana and fucking hell man obviously he can like whatever he wants! i still dont know why he said a change from the exact story when comics take place in several universes ranging from spider man being gween stacy to miles morals. Batman and Robin was from 1997, not 1996.
I'd like to see another attempt at The Shadow, to be honest. The first one got so much right, it's a shame it was also pretty bad.
Suicide Squad, Justice League, Batman & the outsider, Flash, Justice League Dark etc
The writer of this video is definitely showing his or her age, and I'm definitely showing my age for noticing
My Favorite Super Hero Movie Is Gurdians Of The Galaxy
Most would say deadpool but he should stick to video games and comics.
Brandon Mallard Scott Pilgrim is a better example. The movie is based on a comicbook but is not about Superheroes.
DAREDEVIL REBOOT.
Serial movies in 1910's even having female heroes.
Like if you actually read comic books!
What I'd to see on the big screen is a reboot of the Green Hornet and this time keep Rogen near it. Also I'd like a Captain Marvel movie that's worthy of us fan boys. Not a damn Saturday morning kiddie show.
Best comic book movie is X men Days of the future past
