Hey guys, we’re happy to let you know that we finally got our NLV last month. Our visa is valid from September 23 to Jan 5, that’s 105 days validity. We haven’t planned out travel dates because our visa got delayed. As far as we know, a NLV visa is valid for 90 days and we need to be in Spain within 90 days from the day the visa is issued. However since our visa has a 105 days validity, we’re wondering what would be the limit for us. Let’s suppose we land in Spain in the last week of December, our visa is going to be valid only for another couple of weeks. Is that ok as we will anyways apply for a residency once we are there?

You should be fine as long as you arrive within the window provided. If you want more clarity you can also email your consulate. Congrats! :)
