  • St. Eunan's Church of Ireland Cathedral is an Anglican Cathedral located in the town of Raphoe in County Donegal. It is on the site of a monastic settlement founded by St. Eunan in the 7th Century. Much of the present Cathedral was rebuilt in the 1730's and other alterations were carried out at late dates to it. The south-east corner of the Cathedral is the oldest substantial part of it dating back to the 12th century, although two pieces of a carved stone lintel in the vestibule and on the exterior wall date from around the 9th century are believed to be from the original monastery and church of Raphoe, as founded by St Eunan. Raphoe ceased being a Church of Ireland Bishopric in 1834 when it merged with Derry. The ornate wooded entrance doors were hand carved by Mrs. McQuaide in 1907. It is one of three churches in the Raphoe St. Eunan Union of Parishes in the Diocese of Derry and Raphoe.
