I grew up on this album, live in Toronto, it dropped when I was 12, the whole thing is an anthem here. Being a kid who moved to the city when I was young it made me proud to be a Torontonian seeing the album cover and the multiple mentions of street names

U also gotta remember this album is after they basically tried to end him with the ghostwriting accusations the year prior, that's probably why he had that approach on some of the tracks.

This is one that grew on me over time.
This album started the trend of Drake albums being hated on release and then appreciated more afterwards. Before this whatever Drake put out was instantly loved
Feel No Ways might just be the greatest Drake song ever

I remember when What a Time to be Alive w/Future came out about 6 months before this, everything was all about Drake. Say what you want about him but he’s solidified in the GOAT debate in my opinion

"Too Good" is underrated.
There are some career highs on here and some tracks that have IYRTITL vibes (which is good), but there's just so many so-so spots on here and some stinkers. If this was like 9 tracks shorter, this would be incredible.

Yesss finally some more of the GOAT 🐐 Drizzy Drake! Although this is one of his worst albums I must admit :(. With that being said, there are a few gems and one that is an absolute classic on here titled “fire and desire” truly a masterpiece of a song. ❤
