At times he sounds like he's screaming from top of his lungs. Don't get me wrong I like K dot but just prefer Cole and Drizy over him.

From a conceptual standpoint If You’re Reading this it’s Too Late i feel is Drake’s most underrated album the theme i know for a fact flew over a lot of peoples heads. From the album cover to the music itself was very different for Drake if you really pay attention to what he was doing this whole project basically was one giant suicide note. That’s why it had such a somber & depressing feel throughout the entire album it’s his magnum opus in my humble opinion. Also to touch back on that album cover what made it so clever is it’s literally telling you “If You’re Reading this it’s Too Late” because i’m already dead. 🤯
This is a great interpretation but also the title was a direct message to Birdman. Birman was doing shady business and was in the news for screwing over Tyga (who Drake was beefing with at the time) and it was being reported that he had Lil Wayne in a shitty deal. Drake did some magic with his lawyers and dropped this to complete his deal with Cash Money Records so he was officially off the label after this one. He was a surprise drop and if Birman was reading the title and thought he was going to rope Drake back into the deal it was too late.
