The purpose of life is clearly stated by Allah in 51:56 Quran, I did not create the Jinns and the human beings except for the purpose that they should worship Me.
In Surah Al Mulk(The Sovereignty) Allah teaches us why He has created life and death."Who created death and life that He may try you-- which of you is best in deeds; and He is the Mighty, the Forgiving,"[67.3]

@@iqbalz Words of truth should never be dependent on music or nasheed or soothing voices to enter one's heart. Let alone the truth enter into our hearts. This is becoming normal in the era of music audio visuals in motivational speeches. But Islam is different, truth speaks for itself, all alone.

One problem we have is we focus so much on the older mature audience and we neglect the youth.
If a soothing nasheed prevents young people to switching over to commercial music and draws them into these lectures keeping them tuned in then i don't see the problem
Otherwise in a few generations we will lose touch with this connection to young Muslims.
We get drawn into these debates and sometimes neglect the big picture.

I know many that will say there is no purpose to life except the author of life prescribes it to his creation. I would say that the example all around me is that life is for giving and receiving, it is for taking and giving back, It is for learning and teaching. All of this means that the purpose of life is to learn and express love.

I believe the purpose of life comes down to who,what and why we are. Who we are,are children of God,what we are,is a vessel,charged by God to take care of a soul,why we are,we were created for one purpose and one purpose only,that is to worship Allah.
Salam brother! It’s more appropriate to say we are servants of Allah (SWT) because He (SWT) explicitly says in the Qur’an He doesn’t have children. And Allah (SWT) knows best.

People violate Allah's and our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) teachings.
1. Allah has said very clearly in the Holy Quran lots of useful things. Today non Arabs or people who don't understand the Quran meanings doesn't take interest to know its meaning. People must take few minutes or hours to recite Quran and understand its meanings but they don't take interest. They take care on the worldly benefits and gain Allah's anger.
Allah's loves honest people, truthful people and loving people but its not available in today's world in most places.
Mostly people are selfish, unkind, and many other weak points they have.
Less people are with kindful hearts.
Less people are earning legally
Less people are truthful
Less people have good feelings towards others
Less people have good habits.
So you can't correct people when they don't keep in touch with Islamic teachings and thoughts.
Good minds will learn good things.
Good hearts with always win Allah's mercy.
Let's follow the Islamic teachings and go accordingly.

Salam! He didn’t. The title is from an extended lecture. We chose this part because we feel our Muslim brothers and sisters know their purpose in life; which is to worship Allah (SWT). But this part of the sheikh’s lecture emphasizes on the reality of life, which we think we need to be constantly reminded. We hope that clarifies things. JazakAllah khair!

Brother Yasin.. The core purpose of life is to love The Great Holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH his family and companions. A man is a man whom carries the love of The Holy Prophet Muhammad. Whom says Ya RasoolAllah !!!! In every aspect of his life. Whom says Ya RasoolAllah whilst getting up and whilst going to sleep. He is the real man but ofcourse the prayer to The Creator Allah is due as well. Then we have covered the core of life. The rest which uproots from it is written accordingly in The Holy Book
Salaam! With much respect, I would like to bring it to your attention that One should not say ya Rasoolullah while getting up or when going to sleep. Instead, one should remember and glorify the lord at morning,noontime and in the evening, while getting up or when going to sleep, and at all other times, through the words/ supplications that are taught to us by the blessed prophet himself. Such as Bismillah and Allaah o Akbar, SubhanAllaah, Alhumdolillah etc etc
Sending durood upon the blessed prophet is an entirely different matter and can be done through out the day but calling him out while getting out of bed or when going to sleep is not correct… at that time one should be actually calling one’s creator and Rubb, Allaah swt and saying ya Rasoolullah at those times is wrong and can be problematic in the long run…

Bro..neither Allah nor his messenger said the purpose of life is to love his messenger Muhammed (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), even though loving our beloved messenger is one of the criteria for having a complete faith.
The purpose of life, however, is to submit your will to Allah, ober Him, worship Him, serve Him.
