My favorite part of 'Uki Uki ★ Midnight' is when Yui and Moa fly around Su like little fairies while she's dreaming.
One of their most underrated songs.

'Uki Uki ★ Midnight' and 'Doki Doki ☆ Morning' are kind of like sisters.
Both are stylized with a star in the song title.
They're both "slice of life" songs; one daytime and one nighttime.
Moa's fondness for "old man snacks" like dried squid is referenced in the lyrics.
When she was in Sakura Gakuin, she helped create the unofficial "Koyaji Club".
"ko"= young/little. "oyaji" = old man.
The idea of this club was to enjoy "old man snacks" like squid.
They replaced the saki and beer with ginger ale though. : )
The songwriters were probably referring to an incident where they spread out candy and snacks like dried squid on the bed after one of their early shows.
BTW, yhere's no "y" sound in 'Uki Uki ★ Midnight'.
It's more like "ookey".

Babybones and they were so good that, from a certain distance, someone could say they were actually playing the instruments (except when the guitarists were jumping or skipping, lol).
The Kami Band appeared four songs later that night to perform "No Rain, No Rainbow", it was the song's world premiere.

Pretty sure the Babybones were just called "bones" by team Babymetal.
That's right.
They were called "hone" (bones in Japanese) by the BABYMETAL team.
Out of politeness, Su, Yui and Moa called them "hone-san" (Mister Bones).
The skeleton s in the back ground are known as BABYBONES. . It was not until the KAMI band came out for the last 3 or 4 songs. Kami band members for LEGEND 1999 were

Great reaction again.🦊 The Babybones guys were never playing for real, all the instrumentals when they were on stage were pre-recorded and on backing track ... but they still put everything into their performance. ☠ I can't remember the exact quote, it was something like "We may not have been playing the instruments, but we were playing for real in our hearts".🤘

This was released along with Headbanger!! introducing the whispering style instead of the usual growlings of metal songs along with dubstep or brostep elements.
MoaMetal wanted an official MV of this song, of course the part of the lyrics talking about eating dried squid would be there because Moa love those type of snacks that is very rare for kids, is more like middle-aged men type of snacks, usually sweets and candy is what girls fancy to eat at that age.
This song works as a follow up of Doki Doki Morning, they're having a private party with their besties after an exhausting school day.
This was live at Legend 1999 in 2013 celebrating MoaMetal and YuiMetal's 14 Birthday. Just like Legend 1997 they got the Kami Band playing on certain songs but not on this one, whenever you see the babybones on stage they're not playing, just mimicking air playing instruments, so no real live sound, only SuMetal is singing live.
You can also enjoy the official PV which contains footage of the first live performance (outside of Sakura Gakuin) at Meguro Rock May Kan in 2012 and their first _legend_ in a small space and more packed with only 150 capacity, big rock and metal artists started their career in this place too, our queen and princesses following the trail of the living legends.
One of the first song introducing dubstep elements, later on they even met Skrillex and he invited them to be part of one of his concerts and playing a remix version of Gimme Chocolate!!

No Mr Bones or the skeleton band, have never played. They always mimed. This video is obviously studio audio.
Uki Uki midnight is one of my favourite early BabyMetal songs. Who else could mix J-Pop, Metal and Dub Step in the manner that BabyMetal do? In addition, it also upset the haters when people said that BabyMetal was a Metal band and then played Uki Uki Midnight.
