ive always wanted a mtb game like this but with narrower trails and more realistic speeds, it would be cool to also add a hardcore mode for this game with more unforgiving crash physics

you can do that kinda thing in riders, there are more technical stunts and trails littered all over the map, it just wasn't shown here

All I can say about this game is FINALLY!!! I have been waiting for a game just like this one for years.. others have tried, and all of them have fallen short of the mark. This is over the top awesome. So stoked. Only flaw I can find in all of the videos I've found is that it refuses to let you stay in first person when doing tricks, it would greatly add to the realism, but that's a super minor complaint lol
You know that feeling where you think you are going fast but when recorded and played back from a different point of view it isnt that fast at all, somehow this game was able to replicate that and its awesome

I had no faith in this game but it´s now available in Psplus and I can say it´s addicting, being a MTB rider, I can say they totally nailed a lot of aspects of the riding and the camera position and head movements.
I don't understand why we can barely hear the sound of a rear hub when ripping on the mountain bike. Real mountain bikes have rear hubs that are LOUD, sometimes excessively, and sound like angry bumble bees. The devs should make the rear hub sound realistic. Wouldn't hurt to get tire noise in there too. Visually it's awesome. It just doesn't sell itself when they didn't put in the work to make it sound close to reality.

Yeah they're going a very normie-friendly route here. Kind of disappointing to go halfway and pull punches by going into third person when you do a flip.

Oh I think we know gta 6 won't have this level of bike physics. They'll intentionally not do that because it's not a bike game. It's like the driving physics of gta games. It's not as good as even midnight club 3, which is a game made by rockster
GTA 6 can kill many games on its own if only it allows the different vehicles... They have better physics and animation details... Imagine cycle in Red Dead Redemption 2 but they won't for period realism..

I believe they will do when they can do Horse Balls reaction to weather in Red Redemption 2(2018) so accurate they can for Bicycle physics... if bicycle exist it will be perfect or else wont exist ..

But! It definitely lacks realistic sound effects.
Bike rushing through bushes and grass with _no_ sound is the most obvious; and, with speeds shown, I'd expect much more pebbles and dust to fly out of wheels, with appropriate noise.
Still, a lot of improvement since earlier versions!
