I love that feeling when you switch from your bike to your skis and then to your jet pack. I think this game accurately captures that!
They definitely nailed the flight mechanics, Square Enix take notes , that is how you get Iron Man to fly.
lmaoooo, Just Cause franchise had flying that was pretty good, with the jet pack dlcs and stuff.

This game is pretty much the sequel to steep so when your waiting for riders republic play steep switch between sports is not as smooth but its still a ton of fun

This game reminds me of skate 3. An open world game where you can ride anywhere! The slight music in the background too reminds me even more of skate 3. Awesome game can’t wait to play it!

@@superfried9550 Well I personally haven’t played it yet because I missed the beta but I guess time will tell if it will be a good game or not. I think it looks amazing but if they do updates to the game and try to impress the players like Fortnite did, they will just end up ruining the game.

Always cool to see devs rewarded with a franchise for taking unconventional risks. I remember reading that Steep was a labor of love by the dev team and wasn’t made to make big sales and now Ubisoft is the only company with a modern extreme sports experience

RR isnt a game that you play for tryharding, its a game that you play after work, a game that you play for a bit of time.

I can see it getting old fast but very nice! It’s like the crew how you can switch on the fly but without actual vehicles.. something tells me people will be on the jetpack 99% of the time

This is awesome. I wonder if they would include a VR option as well. Man that would be so cool cycling downhill doing flips, picking up speed, a few near misses. & all in 1st VR. That would be cool in my opinion.
To be honest, looks fun for the first week or two, but can see this getting quite boring very quickly. If people think Crew 2 is boring, then this is probably next level. Hopefully I'm wrong.

I partially agree but honestly the chaotic/arcadey nature of this game is pretty much the main point of what makes it stand out and super fun to play
i think the flow is missing somehow. arcard gameplay is nice and fun, but you need some flow to keep the satisfaction going on
@@ogshoot they said it's not a simulation game so it makes sense, they can always add different game modes to add a more realistic mode but this is just fun to watch it's like Mario kart when it comes to realism

It’s probably trying to be more arcadey than simulation style. Would be nice if they had a simulation toggle like in Forza
I'm pretty sure there's a few assists you can toggle on off that make it more realistic vs arcade/easy. I know there's auto rotate on and off

I liked when you you switched from the wing suit to a bike just to do a flip and then back to a wing suit. That was smoooth.
This game looks so awesome! Looks like it will be well worth the wait.
being able to swap to a jump pack at any time removes the sense of danger in the big jumps and falls.
For those who remember SSX (the first one) mastered this you felt like you were really falling when doing a big jump and trick set... yes even though its a game that asks you to suspend reality because you never fell to your death.
This game is going to hit the same pitfall that the Crew did, in the Crew you lost the sense of speed and danger when cornering because you can fly and hop in a speed boat whenever. In this game there is no sense of danger in terms of elevation because you can fly and no sense of boundary because you can go from bike to skii's.
what made SSX and Tony Hawk Pro Skater such loved and memorable games is that you existed in a world with physics rules that you could BEND but could not break and that was the conflict you were always juggling on a knifes edge.
These games now are like being Superman in a Sandbox... great for 2hrs on a first time play through but after that the complete lack conflict between the in game avatar and the world around it makes it boring. A game where you can TRY and do whatever you want is alot more fun than a game where you CAN do whatever you want.

Here’s the thing, no one is forcing you to do anything so you can play however you want.
Playing the beta brought me back to being a kid and messing around in SSX 3/Tricky, felt lots of wonderful nostalgia. Cannot wait to play the full game, super excited!

When changing gear they would've added an interesting animation. Like the cycle comes up with a tron like animation, or nano tech animation

Yes because this isnt Steep, it's more of a little game that you boot up when you don't what to play, when you don't have much time to really get into it.

As a kid back in 2003-2004 i used to play Downhill Domination on ps2 this game brings back those memories i never found such an amazing bike game again this is the one i was looking for
the sound design of the bicycle sounds really cool
I love that you can switch gear mid air ~ The gameplay has me looking forward to eating shit on my real bike so I can play this while my flesh reassembles.

Steep is still a great game and it seems as if it has a more flow on steep. Better physics..... idk maybe its the way this guy is playing. But they're both good looking games.

Reminds me of The Crew 2. I'm wanting a game like MX Unleased with awesome physics and the ability to choose planes, dirt bikes, ATVs, monster trucks, dune buggys.
Maybe a little easier to crash, maybe he's just really good but it looks like you can kinda just chuck it with no real risk!
I believe that was intended by developers to give a more arcade feel! :)
@@SuperHaryboy Tony hawks had an arcade feel but you could still wipe out if you didn't land properly. They should aim for that level of balance imho
Looks great and it's a cool idea. The sense of speed looks very strange to me, almost like you're going blazing fast and very slow at the same time. I wonder how much (less) there is to do without PS+. I get that PS+ is generally worth the price, but I don't like the idea of getting it just for one game.

Yes and I’m wondering if it’s worth buying the game plus yr 1 pass for £85 or £60 for just the base game. It would be an easier decision if I actually knew what the base game contains and what the yr 1 pass contains. So annoying when that happens because some games you get enough content with just the base game and others feel short without dlc. Saying that, most dlc I’ve ever bought has been crap. Apart from destiny. But destiny is too addictive for me and I can’t go back to my old ways .

@@Goreburger. actualy you got 2 landing / tricks options...one auto and one manual. The manual one makes it harder to do tricks and to land them but you got more rewards than the auto. It looks like this player is on auto ;)

@@hugo5467 Everything you hit you suffered g-force penalty. And it is so sensitive that any touch would raise the g-force level on a meter for that to the maximum and then make you go down. So doing stunts was "realistically" boring. Literally touching a tree was capable enough to down you.

The most annoying was that your screen went dark and white and blurry every time. Like in a call of duty game when you are low on health. It ruined the otherwise fun game for me.

I've seen multiple videos of this game and people on bikes landing any which way. Do you ever fall off, crash? Just seen in this one they got a tree and nothing happened, just rode away.
Yes you do crash and fall if you ride right into a tree or a rock or something like that
This game looks like it still needs a lot of development and polish time. It's got promise and looks fun, just needs work...

@@lewis2705 well graphically seen swim hiccups, the rising impact should have some feel to it during jumps also hitting people should have some impact they make it almost seem as if the player hits a leaf , character models during cutscenes are little bit off , maybe add some music during rides that are engaging .
