I don't understand why theres so much thumbs down👎when the overall nails is beautiful I bet 99.99% a who thumbs down can't even do it theres always gonna be haters
You can give people contact dermatitis with your huge brush getting monomer all over their cuticles and eponychium. But seriously as a longtime tech I’ve seen with other techs and this repeated monomer on the skin will affect your clients skin. These huge brushes are fine but try to not do that. Trust me after years of this they will get sores and cracking cuticles and cracking eponychium it’s bad and isn’t made to be on that area. If your brush was smaller it wouldn’t happen. As well as using a lot of primer. You don’t want it to soak into the matrix of the nail that’s even worse, and can cause a lot of damage. It’s just going too fast and not paying attention to detail. Those details are just as important as a beautiful nail. Just some food for thought.
I use a size 20 brush and never wipe the skin. Ive been a tech for 6 yrs and have learned how to properly manipulate the acrylic AWAY from the cuticle. It has nothing to do with what size brush you use.
Amanda Blackburn the size absolutely does matter and a brush with a point eliminates the amount of brush that touches the skin, a size 20 has no point so the your brush being bigger means more of it touches the skin. After you’ve been a tech for a couple decades, and your clientele if they stay that long, you’ll see the damage those brushes do to the cuticle and eponychium. It’s just not possible to not touch the cuticle while cleaning it with a 20 and no point. But if you’ve got a way then hey don’t worry about it.
@@NailsbyGGRNVLE i assure you that when i do a clients nails with my size 20 brush i DO NOT touch their skin. Ive been using #20 for 4yrs now so maybe you think that because YOU are not accustomed to that size. Its all in how you manipulate your acrylic. I suppose you're one of those ppl that think since YOU cant do it no one can, right?
Have you ever considered using acrylic paint to do your art, it’s way easier and cheaper and you can do endless things to nails. Check out Robin Moses nail art and she has been a tech for a a couple decades plus as have I and she can show you how or tell you the products needed you can get neon’s and glitter’s etc, it’s super easy and you can create for pennies which means more money for you. It’s a win win. Just some more info for you. Nice set by the way. With paint you can get all the edges way easier than using polish but a tip for polish is the mix it with a bit of acetone on a tile it keeps it working a bit longer, cause girl come on now those sides are not ok.
@@barbjalcorn go watch naio nails geesh! You're just mad your old ass never took a chance and learned to do nails! Who gives a fuck your from the UK too! British wooden teeth ass!
BestAbsolutePerfect Nicole you can also use isopropyl alcohol to wipe away the paint as well if you really don’t like it and want to start again. Or water and any residual colour left use the alcohol to remove that and start again. Just another tip.
Ok so I'm at the end of the video...those color lines definitely needs to be better especially the sides, it looked like you never finished filling the lines in on the sides

i love this set. But im sure your line work has improved. as a client and qualifed nail tech id want want to create a perfect set. but then im constantly trying to improve my work. she did a wonderful ob especially her acrylic application was amazin!!!
My only suggestion would be as licensed cosmetologist and nails being my heart..u should always put the client nail health before money..I personally would have made her wait and did some keratin treatments for her nails to give them a chance to strengthen. Then once they were more healthy then i would have done her nails. All ur doing is adding to the problem baby. U r doing the best u can i suppose..practice makes perfect keep it up
Lol this video old and yall bored during quarantine finding something to bitch and moan about. What it she did and the person said fuck that I want my nails done

We are in a learning industry I can’t wait to see how much more you’re going to prosper ♥️♥️♥️♥️
I love love love this nail set! The set is so fresh with bright colors and white . Your client has such perfect beautiful hands! Why don't you put a thin clear coat of acrylic so you can change the white nail out for another design easier by filing the white off? Great video. I love your channel
i know this isnt her answering BUT nail techs arent about that gel life anymore, colored acrylic powder is the way to go! you honestly get a cleaner shape plus it wont peel like gel
Get 1 cheap tile (like a bathroom tile or kitchen wall tile to put ur paints on so your not wasting so much polish, plus all u do is wipe it off with alcohol to clean it again). It drove me nuts she didn't cap the free edge which secures the polish, u always have to cap the free edge when top coating to protect the polish/design. But i like the idea of this design.
@@tianamorris2644 ok let's say you do your full set & now your on to ur design, once you complete your design you will HAVE to cap it with like a gel top coat to make sure the design you just did, doesn't chip or come right off. I (for example) always top coat my designs whether they're stickers, solid polish or a painted design, i cap it or another words i cover it to protect it with uv gel top coat, you get way less chipping & it lasts longer. But the important thing to remember to don't forget the free edge (along the sides & tip where she's got her colors at in this vid) cuz i promise you, that paint will for sure be gone way before she'll need a refill & it'll look bad, you have to always protect whatever polish or designs you do or they won't last, hope this info helps 🤗🙋
Yasss gurl! 💖😍💖😍 everyone has their own way of doing thing's that doesn't make it wrong😲 as long as the costumers are satisfied that's all the matters! Keep doing you and thanks for sharing.

So I’m only still at the beginning of the video but I like how you used a lot of product on the nail because of the length. It seems that your working smarter not harder. My question is tho how do you get it on the nail in time before it dries up? I have that problem all the time when using a lot of acrylic.
The nails are cute but the only thing I would recommend is that maybe....let me stop playing with yall 😂😂 these nails were cute 🥰 and I might just get them for when I go back to skhool ❤️ thanks for the idea 🤗
Heart leaped when i saw you uploaded! You dig in that acrylic like nobody's business girl 🤣 Love your technique & learning a lot from you. Thank you! Love love love these btw!
You should learn from reputable nailtechs (naio nails, nail career education, youngnailsinc etc.) not hobbyists. Sorry, but this video has nothing to learn from. Owning a nail salon does not make a person automatically an expert. Even the application of the tips was mediocre at best.
The end result turned out pretty good. Acrylic application can use some work and that will decrease the amount of filing and wasted product. Keep working at it, great start!
Very thick!!they do got to have certain thickness for the length but dam she using so much powder!that brush is huge!!she gotta go threw so much powder..then she filing away alot of it su h a waste it's like money turnimg into dust
No, the prices are due to the time it takes to create a full set. On long nails like this a good nailtech works at least 90 Minutes. Most techs need two hours or more for extra long nails. The materials are only expensive when you buy small quantities. My 150 gr clear acrylic (german production) cost me 12€ and 500 ml liquid about the same. I only buy when the shops offer discounts. And I avoid hyped brands.
vulcans0soul Yea you pay for the labor but also for product being using right you live where you live but products in Brooklyn too are expensive ,and some people can’t always wait to buy products when they go on sale
Hey i love the nails but a quick tip, try to get around the cuticle area to prevent lifting cause no matter how much primer you will get lifting if you don’t use the e file correct on the cuticle area.
I do love your work sweetie it's amazing! Did that poor girl come to you with allot of layers taken from her natural nailbed, cuz there were about 3-4 nails that looked so red like her layers were just about almost gone it literally made me cringe. Beautiful set.
Her nails are soooooooo cute but as a fan I'm still going to be very honest with you and let you know some things you did weren't right. The only thing is you only focus on the front view of her nails not the side view and a that very important to do so. If I were you i would just go ahead and fill in the sides with the color nail polish. I hope you don't look at this comment as a hate comment bc girl I love you sm and they are still so freaking get cute. #luvyaa
I was always taught in class to look at your nail from side angles so I'm confused how u do it. U look at just the front of your nail? U supposed to check out ALL angles mainly the sides
I understand that there were some mistakes but its not a big deal she still learning and I make more mistakes when doing nails then her the nails look bomb ❤
Ok so when you dip it and lie it on the towel for a second what does that do? Are you letting the arc that it's wet fall off or something ?? I really need to know and what size brushes do you use and the product
Rashe Barbie it takes excess monomer off the brush so the acrylic won’t be too runny when you place it on the nail. It looks like she’s using Mia secret acrylic powder

Hey she did an amazing job, just the application its a bit messy cause her brush its a bit damaged but hey she made it work! It happened to me several times, it is not hate, probably people say it to help her...anyways good job!!!!
Uhm she did a good job in my opinion so🤷🏽♀️haters gonna hate... my nail tech doesn’t even know how to do that and he’s been doing nails since 1990 sooooo
Hello, I am a nailist living in Korea ~ I happened to watch a video, but I am so new and feel the charm of acrylic
Boo you did good. Don't worry everything get better the more you do it😍
I don't understand why theres so much thumbs down👎when the overall nails is beautiful I bet 99.99% a who thumbs down can't even do it theres always gonna be haters
Nails by G. #G. RNVLE Thank you! Finally a voice of reason. I’m sure half these girls just give lip service and it annoys me ❤️🇦🇺
Nails by G. #G. RNVLE thank you for this fyi

Nails by G. #G. RNVLE My point exactly. They’re up there with the worst I’ve ever seen ❤️🇦🇺
And with acrylic paint if you mess up all you have to do is scratch it away with a tooth pick and the polish underneath will still be intact!
@@barbjalcorn you've commented like 6 times now. I thought the sides were sloppy too but the worst you've ever seen? Shut the fuck up

i love this set. But im sure your line work has improved. as a client and qualifed nail tech id want want to create a perfect set. but then im constantly trying to improve my work. she did a wonderful ob especially her acrylic application was amazin!!!
Gorgeous set! What’s in the black cap your dipping the brush in?
My only suggestion would be as licensed cosmetologist and nails being my heart..u should always put the client nail health before money..I personally would have made her wait and did some keratin treatments for her nails to give them a chance to strengthen. Then once they were more healthy then i would have done her nails. All ur doing is adding to the problem baby. U r doing the best u can i suppose..practice makes perfect keep it up
Lol this video old and yall bored during quarantine finding something to bitch and moan about. What it she did and the person said fuck that I want my nails done
ThreetwoNine lmfao right or their nails are just naturally weak af like mine and like you said fuck that just do my nails😂
This looks so beautiful and I hate how people are bashing you in the comments. Stay brave people will always hate but as nail tech to nail tech I do recommend reading what they say and try your best to incorporate it in your work.
Everyone work is different that's her way of doing it
Just Jessy when you say cap you mean with a clear layer of acrylic ? I’m just starting up
@@tianamorris2644 ok let's say you do your full set & now your on to ur design, once you complete your design you will HAVE to cap it with like a gel top coat to make sure the design you just did, doesn't chip or come right off.
Just Jessy thanks I get what you mean now

So pretty 😩😩😩 keep up the good work love
So satisfying to watch😍
So I’m only still at the beginning of the video but I like how you used a lot of product on the nail because of the length. It seems that your working smarter not harder. My question is tho how do you get it on the nail in time before it dries up? I have that problem all the time when using a lot of acrylic.
Jelisa McGhee you get more liquid on ur brush every time u build it
Jelisa McGhee girl you don’t see all that monamer she’s using? that’s how

Even the application of the tips was mediocre at best.

yea them nails cute, but dont think i forgot how they looked before them tips and acrylic was applied... mm
Big facts 💯
that's the whole point of getting them done girl hush.
I love them🥰only thing is that some nails the design color isnt right on the edge like the others...but still cute
I like it
GO GIRL I LOVE YOU U GOT THIS PERIOD
The end result turned out pretty good. Acrylic application can use some work and that will decrease the amount of filing and wasted product. Keep working at it, great start!
Just maybe a new brush, otherwise her work is nice :)
Those are really pretty I want them!!💅
Very thick!!they do got to have certain thickness for the length but dam she using so much powder!that brush is huge!!she gotta go threw so much powder..then she filing away alot of it su h a waste it's like money turnimg into dust
And that’s the beauty of being a nail tech ,that’s why nails be the prices they are
No, the prices are due to the time it takes to create a full set.

How much of each do you mix to get soft white? Like how much white & how much clear?
KCK Official well depends on how pigmented the white is, Mia secret white is ridiculously pigmented so I do like 4 scoops of clear to 1 white
I understand that there were some mistakes but its not a big deal she still learning and I make more mistakes when doing nails then her the nails look bomb ❤
This looks amazing ❤️

Okay, I see you!! Love it!!
How would u remove this colored acrylic if they came back for a refill and wanted a new color in acrylic
You’d have to get a new set
prolly just remove the nails all togeher, unless theyre getting just regular paint then just remove the highlight paint and paint over the white
about how much would something like this cost
Ok so when you dip it and lie it on the towel for a second what does that do? Are you letting the arc that it's wet fall off or something ?? I really need to know and what size brushes do you use and the product
Rashe Barbie it takes excess monomer off the brush so the acrylic won’t be too runny when you place it on the nail. It looks like she’s using Mia secret acrylic powder
What was the clear to white acrylic powder ratio? Client wants this set tomorrow 😩
Where did you get your tools from to do the nails ?
