They actually listened with sincerity, and carefully analyzed it. Whatever they said is right. It’s always dangerous to depend on the tafsir /explanations of Leaders (Surah 6:115, Surah 33:66-68) to draw conclusions. We’ve to strive to objectively seek knowledge for ourselves. Deedat read the Bible subjectively for the sake of debates, so of course he was boxed in prejudice. Unfortunately, most of his followers are ignorant. The ladies are Christians, they learn the Bible to understand. Undoubtedly, they know better than Deedat knew. It hurts to see someone spreading falsehood. I practice Christianity and Islam. I love both as it’s inspired by God. They don’t contradict each other at all, the problem is the “interpretation “ scholars, readers, pastors, sheiks etc give to the ayats/verses. In case you want to know much about Christianity, kindly read the Bible objectively, it’s better than concluding Christianity on a mere subjective hearsay.
Solomon 5:16 doesn’t refer to Muhammad the prophet.
It seems like rather common sense to me that even if the name did appear in the Bible, the conclusion that Muḥammad ibn ʿAbdullāh was named after the Biblical Muḥammad would make more sense than that the Bible was referring to Muḥammad ibn ʿAbdullāh. Do you think that Biblical references to Thomas are referring to Thomas Aquinas?
No, it does not. In Song of Solomon 5:16, the maiden says of her lover, "His mouth is sweetness itself; he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, this is my friend, daughters of Jerusalem." The word translated as "lovely" is the Hebrew word ‘machamadim’. It is the plural of ‘machamad’, which means “lovely, cute, or desirable.” Although it is the root word of Muhammad, it does not follow that the verse refers to Muhammad, especially since the word used is a plural adjective, not the name of a person.
Please in case you want to know much about Christianity, kindly read the Bible.
      Thank you

ⓂFACT: SONG OF SONGS 5:16 PROPHESIED PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PBUH) BY NAME [PART 1]
      Section 1 of 2:
When dealing with the fact that Bible passage in the Song of Songs or Shir haShirim 5:16 שיר השירים ה:טז in Hebrew where the word “Machamadim” מַחֲמַדִּים is clearly shown, christian apologists like James White in his debate with Br. Zakir Hussain titled “Is Muhammed Prophesied in the Bible?” typically respond that it can not refer to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) based on the following arguments:
      1. The context of the whole Song of Solomon is about human love or human sexual desire.
      2. The word is in adjective form and can be found in other places in the Bible.
      3. The word is in plural form
White even boldly claim that this is the weakest argument the muslims have on finding prophet Muhammad in the Bible.
Let us have a closer look if this argument is valid.
Human sexual desire or God’s beloved man?
To address his first argument, nowhere in Jewish and Christian tradition reads this particular passage solely to its literal meaning of a romantic sexual poetry between man and woman.
In Judaism, the Song was taken not to be sexual desire but God’s love for Israel.
The Rabbis at Yabneh accepted the Song into the canon - to believe Rabbi Aqiba, without much hesitation - because they read it both pseudepigraphically, as stemming from King Solomon himself, and allegorically, as a depiction of God’s love for Israel rather than man’s love of sexual partnership.
(Anselm C. Hagedom (editor); Perspectives on the Song of Songs, page 107)
Christians also followed suit after Jewish exegetes began to read the Song allegorically, as having to do with God’s love for his people. Christian exegetes treat the love that it celebrates as an analogy for the love between God and the Church.
The surface or “literal” subject matter of the Song was the love that joins a bride and her betrothed, asexual longing that the Song celebrates cheerfully. Understood in that way, how- ever, the Song had little to say directly about the relation between God and “us”;and that relation of course defines the basic interest - the agenda - that Jews and Christians alike brought, and bring, to their reading of the Scriptures. Hence the traditional resort to allegory in interpretation of the Song: the love that it celebrates is treated as a figure or analogy for the love between God and the people of God, the Church.
(Richard A. Norris Jr ; The Song of Songs: Interpreted by Early Christian and Medieval Commentators, page 1)
Therefore it is clear that intellectual tradition in Judeo-christiandom understood the context of Song of Songs, not about human love or human sexual desire but rather as an allegory of the relationship between God and His special person or people.
Bear in mind centuries of Judeo Christian interpretation battle, why can not the muslims allow their own understanding of the text? Why can’t muslims read the Song of Songs befitting an allegory of God’s love for someone really special, someone really who will glorify and exalt God in a manner like anyone has ever seen before which to Muslims this can only refer to Prophet Muhammad (p), the last messenger of God who has proclaimed and spread the genuine truth about God: the One and Only all-powerful God, guarding the false belief of polytheism of multiple gods or god in three persons.
      Just an ordinary Hebrew adjective?
It is obvious that James White has little or no familiarity in Hebrew or in any other Semitic languages. Anyone with has proficiency in Semitic language must recognize that etymologically, there is no so called adjective in Arabic or in Hebrew. In Semitic thinking the quality of a noun is described by another noun - either concrete or abstract. The main idea of an expression is stated first and it is then qualified by what immediately follows. For example “A big house” is, in the Semitic parts of speech, “a house (the main idea), a big (one)” (qualifying it) - בַּיִת גָּדוֹל (bayiṯ gāḏôl) in Hebrew or بيت كبير (bayt kabîr) in Arabic.
⬛In Particular When We Analyse The Song Of Songs 5:16
      חִכֹּו֙ מַֽמְתַקִּ֔ים וְכֻלֹּ֖ו מַחֲמַדִּ֑ים זֶ֤ה דֹודִי֙ וְזֶ֣ה רֵעִ֔י בְּנֹ֖ות יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם
      HEBREW....................TRANSLIT....................ENGLISH....................MORPH
      חִכּוֹ֙...............................ḥikkōw......................... His mouth...................Masc Noun
      מַֽמְתַקִּ֔ים........................mamṯaq-qîm, ...............a sweetness...............Masc Noun
      וְכֻלּ֖וֹ...............................waḵullōw.......................he wholly....................Masc Noun
      מַחֲמַדִּ֑ים.........................machamad-dîm;...........a precious man...........Masc Noun
      זֶ֤ה................................zeh...............................This............................Masc Pronoun
      דוֹדִי֙..............................ḏōwḏî............................my beloved man.........Masc Noun
      וְזֶ֣ה...............................wazeh...........................and this.......................Masc Pronoun
      רֵעִ֔י...............................rê‘î,...............................my friend....................Masc Noun
      בְּנ֖וֹת.............................banōwṯ.........................O daughter.................Fem Noun
      יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם..........................yarūšālim......................of Jerusalem...............Proper Noun
So it is clear from the passage above the word Machamad מַחֲמַדִּ֑ function as a masculine noun, not an adjective and it refer to a person, a man. The word itself comes from the stem חמד (hamad) which occurs all over the Semitic spectrum but with slightly differing meanings; in Arabic it means praiseworthy but in Hebrew it means something precious or desirable.
      ◾Some interesting point to note:
▪Most strikingly this particular form could not refer to a figure whom christians refer to Jesus because he was mentioned in Isaiah as a man whom would not be desired לֹֽא נֶחְמְדֵֽהוּloneḥmaḏê-hū (Isaiah 53:2).
▪This passage also mention about “his mouth” which was full of sweetness. How can an “adjective” has mouth? So this passage must be talking about a person, a man.
▪The passage tells us that this maḥămad is beloved (man), how can an adjective can be a beloved of anyone?
▪The masculine noun take form of what in Hebrew called Maqtal. Here hebrew root-verb חמד (hammed) is given with the pre-fix מ (mem) מחמד (mahmad) literally denoting a place or agent of preciousness. This correspond with Arabic construct اسم المشتق Ism al-Mushtaq, in which the word محمد Muhammad takes its form.

Semantically, the Hebrew term mohamadim comes from the root mahmad, meaning “desirable, sweet.” Conversely, in Arabic, the name Muhammad comes from the root hammd, which means “to praise” or” praiseworthy.” Hence, the Hebrew term mohamadim has no semantic parallel with Muhammad.

It seems you ignored all his analysis and focus on defending your positions. Even if you read from the beginning of the song of Solomon ch 1 up to the last verse, it's clearly describing someone. If you were to replace the phrase 'all together lovely' with the name 'Muhammad', the sentence would read as ' he is Muhammad, he is my beloved, oh daughters of Jerusalem'. Thanks for your nice conducts keep it up. I wish you the best and guidance from the creator of all. Peace.

He will remain with you forever, meaning the message he brought (the Qur'an). In fact, the Qur'an more than 14 centuries ago remained unchanged and Allah( God) pledged to protect it Himself. There are tens of millions of people memorize it by heart. Even if someone deliberately writes a forged copy, people will know it directly and reject it, and therefore it will only be a material loss for the person who tried to forge it.
Don't be emotional in your reaction. Continue to discover Islam and you will never regret it. And thank God that He guided you to explore landmarks you don't know. In John 14-16 Jesus Christ was speaking to His disciples. An important detail which your Deedat deliberately hide away.
The Paracletos, Spirit of truth is the Holy Spirit who remain with the disciples forever. Because the disciples have eternal life. And those who have eternal life are sealed with Holy Spirit. In case of the disciples as replacer (= Paracletos) of Jesus for their mission. That is why Jesus spoke also about the Paracletos as role for the Holy Spirit. John 14:26.

To the sister on the right that is saying "If God wanted us to know about Muhammad, he would have mentioned it openly and clearly all over the Bible", then you have to ask that question "Is the Bible that you have today, in the exact shape and form and structure as Jesus brought it down to Earth 2000 years ago, or has it been changed and manipulated all over the place multiple times?" There is a huge probability that Muhammad could have been mentioned openly in the "Original Bible" at the time of Jesus but has been removed by people over the period of 2000 years. Muslims are just trying to prove to you that even after so many changes and manipulations to the Bible, the mention of Muhammad is STILL there in the Bible. Muslims are STILL proving t you from whatever is left of it and present.

    • @owusustephen3400
      @owusustephen3400 ปีที่แล้ว +1

How did you come to know that the Bible has been manipulated or altered? And since you believe “Original Bible”, it means, that “original Bible” was inspired by God, why couldn’t God preserve it until now, and He was only able to preserve the Quran? We believe God is omnipotent.

    • @nawalrahman
      @nawalrahman ปีที่แล้ว +2

@@owusustephen3400 - We believe that Jesus was indeed given a scripture which was the word of God, however, the oldest available manuscripts of the Bible are 300+ years after Jesus went away from this world. So, there is no way to prove that the current Bible is intact. Additionally, the reason why we believe it has been changed is because there are numerous contradictions in the bible and the Authors of the Bible are anonymous. We don't know who is John, Luke, Matthew & Mark. These Gospels are according to them, not written by them.
Moreover, why do you blame God for not preserving the Bible, when it was humans who didn't preserve it. Muslims made it a mission to preserve the Quran to ensure and prevent exactly the argument that we are making regarding the Bible. Furthermore, Jesus came for the Children of Israel. He didn't come for the whole of humanity, so it wasn't as important to preserve the Bible. The Quran is for the whole of humanity until the end of times, hence it is necessary to preserve it.
Look, with all due respect, I'm not here to argue, I'm just saying that there can only be 1 truth. There cannot be 2 truths. So, humbly requesting you to read and research with an open mind to find that truth. Peace be with you my friend.

    • @owusustephen3400
      @owusustephen3400 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@nawalrahman Hi dear
      Thanks for your opinion.
I’m not here to argue as well.
From your reply, it appears you made some claims that have resulted from what you’ve heard from others. “Hearsay” or possibly, you acquired the knowledge in a subjective manner.
Let me ask a few questions.
      1. Do you actually know what the Bible is?
      2. Quran (the revelation was given to Muhammad 600 years after Christianity). It’s nearly as old as the Bible is. Why do we believe one has contradictions and the other doesn’t?
      3. The Quran was written by Man(Muhammad) under the INSPIRATION of God, so is the Bible under the INSPIRATION of God. Should we be worried about who allowed themselves for God by inspiration to bring forth the Word (Quran, Bible) or we should be concerned about God who actually gave revelations by His own will? Surah 29:45, 2 Timothy 3:16. Please read these ayats to know better.
      4. The writers of the Gospel witnessed first hand observations of Christ Jesus when he was having his earthly ministry in the 1st Century. This is evidentially stated in the Bible. Doubtlessly, they are not unknown at all. Just as we didn’t have a personal encounter with Mohammed but we strongly believe the Quran came through him, in much the same way we believe in the writers of the Gospel. Our confidence is in God who gave the Word under His inspiration. The Gospel gives an account of Jesus and references about the Torah(Law) and the prophets, did you expect Jesus to write His own Gospel?
      5. If you believe there was once a certain Gospel under the inspiration of God, then it means the Gospel serves/served a purpose. Has the purpose been completed? Or it’s yet to?
      6. I practice Islam too, to say Jesus came for only the Children of Israel is quite questionable. The teachings of Jesus is also in the Quran as He was mentioned over 150 times. We’ve His teachings in the Quran, if he came purposely for the Children of Israel then His teachings served a purpose for only Israelites. Why are His teachings in the Quran? Are you one of the children of Israel? If you learn the Quran and the Bible better, you will get to understand there are no contradictions at all with respect to Jesus. The problem is, we are strongly carried away by the teachings and tafsirs of our imams, pastors, sheiks, Mullas, preachers who give false claims against the religions leading to dissensions and hatred among believers. We don’t objectively seek to study. For as long as Allah recommends the people of the scripture (Christianity and Judaism) in the Quran , What “objective knowledge” do you know about Jesus from both the Quran and the Bible? Kindly share.
7 The Quran is for the whole humanity, where in the Quran did Allah explicitly say “Oh Muhammad, this message is for the whole humanity”, also where in the Gospel did Jesus say “I Jesus, for I only came for the children of Israel “ ?? And even if it was said in the Quran, how well do you understand it? Now, the problem is how we understand what religion is and the various “Word of God” that were revealed in different times. Before the Quran, there were previous religions already. And Allah didn’t abrogate them. Those religions, together with Islam are for humanity. Those religions as well as 7th Century Islam (religion) serve the same purpose-that’s declaring the message of God about His oneness, holiness and righteousness-and the afterlife-Hell and Heaven. The revelation Muhammad received was yet another gift God blessed mankind with. Islam being the final religion doesn’t mean it’s the fulfillment of all religions. It means, it’s one of the religions Allah purposed under His inspiration. And after Islam, there will be no religion again. Surah 77:50
Abraham (Ibrahim), David(Dawood), Joseph (Yussif) etc, these men were already religious people before the Quran was revealed. Surah An Nahl 16:123. How do you understand religion and the Word of God?
      8. Finally, I believe you’ve objectively learnt the Bible yourself. Concerning the so-called contradictions of the Bible, please what are the numerous contradictions in the Bible?
      Thank you. Stay blessed!

@@owusustephen3400 I don't have the capacity to type and answer all your questions. I'm not a scholar either. Please watch "Sheikh Uthman Farooq" on "One Message Foundation" TH-cam Channel, You'll get all your answers there.
To put it short, it has been only 1 religion since the beginning of time. Since the time of Adam(PBUH). It was the same message from the same source(Allah/God). After the Prophets went away, people changed the messages and got divided into different religions and move away from the original message of the oneness of God. If we were in the time of Jesus(PBUH), we Muslims would've followed Jesus. If we were in the time of Moses(PBUH), we would've followed him since they were the way to God at that time. Now that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the last prophet and there is no other prophet to come, we follow him. You follow the prophet of your time. "Muslim" by definition is someone who submits there will to Allah. By that definition, all the prophets and the people who followed those true messages were Muslim. There are bits and pieces that are left of that true message in the Bible and Torah. Most of it has been changed by the people. Since the Quran had been preserved and the message is still the same, we use it as the measuring scale to determine what is true and what is false in the previous scriptures. If it matches with the Quran, then it is true, if it contradicts with the Quran, then it is false and has been changed because if it is the same source, then the message would have been the same, it wouldn't contradict.

If you read John 14-16 then it will become clear that the Paracletos does NOT fit Muhammad at all. First of all in John 14-16 Jesus Christ was speaking to His disciples. And Muhammad was NOT with the disciples. Muhammad was NOT in the disciples after Jesus Christ's ascension. Muhammad was NOT sent in Jesus name. Muhammad was NOT the Holy Spirit. Muhammad did NOT teach the disciples. Muhammad did NOT remember the disciples everything what Jesus Christ has said to them. Muhammad is NOT sent by Jesus Christ. Muhammad did NOT testify about Jesus Christ to the disciples. Muhammad did NOT guide the disciples in all truth. Muhammad did NOT disclose it to the disciples. Muhammad did NOT glorify Jesus Christ. Muhammad did NOT become his 'revelation' from Jesus Christ. So the Paracletos is definitely NOT Muhammad.

Hashim has strong points, because many Christians don't understand the word of God clear enough to answer those questions. If a person does not take
the Holy Bible as the Word of God, then anything can be said against the Holy Bible. Here, Hashim is making statements with his own understanding.
His reasoning is very good, but his understanding of The God of Israel is not clear fomer him. I trust that he means well as I trust these Christians
also mean well. I will answer his Eternity question: If God is eternal, then he cannot die and resurrect; otherwise, he is not God. If Jesus died
and resurrected, then he cannot be God.
My Answer: When Jesus of Nazareth said that he came not to destroy, but to fulfil The Law and The Prophets - that is what he meant. In The Law,
The Torah, Moses foretold of a Prophet the The Lord was going to raise up (Deuteronomy 18:15-19) - and that prophet would speak the words that God
would put in his mouth. He will speak all that God would command him. - As The Prophet, Jesus of Nazareth was telling the Jewish leaders that he
was that Prophet that Moses spoke of - he then told them, if they did not believe in Moses, then how could they believe in HIM, because Moses did
speak of him (John 5:39-47; 7:15,16). In the book of Acts 3:22-23 the Apostle Peter confirms that Jesus of Nazareth is/was that Prophet foretold
by Moses. The Evangelist Stephen also confirms that Jesus of Nazareth was/is that Prophet foretold by Moses (Acts 7:37). [Moses was about 14-15
Centuries before the birth of Christ Jesus]
According to the Prophet Isaiah, there was going to be a Righteous Servant of The Lord that would die for the people. This Righteous Servant was
going to be acquainted with grief, and was going to be a man of sorrows. He was going to be wounded for the transgressions of THE PEOPLE, and he
was going to bruised for the iniquities of THE PEOPLE; and this SERVANT was going to receive stripes that would ultimately be for the healing of
THE PEOPLE. The chastisement of THE PEOPLE was going to be upon HIM. He would ultimately be cut off out of the land of the living for the benefit
of THE PEOPLE. (Isaiah 52:13-15, 53:1-12). As the Righteous Servant, he would take the place of the sin (via punishment of death) of THE PEOPLE.
[Isaiah was about 7-8 Centuries before the birth of Christ Jesus]. So the Righteous Servant spoken of by the Prophet Isaiah is the same Jesus of
Nazareth. The Apostle Paul (Saul of Tarsus) confirmed it in the Epistle to the Philippians 2:5-12. ---- I will stop here, but there is much more!

The other mistake made by Deedat is that he said that ‘מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים' is a name. Again he is very wrong because מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים is a masculine plural noun, so it is not a name (like יְהוִֹה, Yhvh). And because it is not a name it is impossible that it refers to Muhammad.

I would advice if you can follow Ahmad Deedat videos on TH-cam to give you clear understanding of his lectures. He doesn't pick a portion, he gives lectures and people cut part of the message to suit their presentations.

A QUESTION to the 3 of you: do you anything against Prophet Mohamed coming after Jesus? who on earth would doubt the words of the Creator? There is only ONE God one creator NOT 3!!!

So let’s clarify something if it’s in reference to the holy spirit this means that at this point in time the holy spirit does not exist he will only come when he leaves “the Bible but it is nalso known that John already has the holy spirit and Elizabeth already has the holy spirit and what was learnt what was given to anyone after the holy spirit supposably came what have you learnt after you have accepted this scripture to be the holy spirit rather than the prophet Muhammad it doesn’t make sense if somebody says that I have to leave so you can learn something you tell me what has been taught over the last 2000 years after the passing of Jesus Christ please be on to him??
Nothing because you refer to the Bible at every time that you need to make your point

And also about 1 John 4 was Deedat very wrong. Let's analyse 1 John 4:
“Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.”. But the verse is clear e.g. in the word ‘because’. In Greek “ὅτι’ = ‘hoti” which means ’that’ or ‘since’ or ‘because’. Clearly this verse only states that spirits are the result of the presence of false prophets in the world. So 1 John 4:1 clearly states that false prophets are the course and spirits are the result. That makes clear that prophets and spirits are NOT the same, they are two different types of entities.

    *DON'T CONTRADICT THIS ONE SISTERS!*
*In 1 Corinthians 11:3-15, Paul writes that if a woman is to be so immodest as to wear her hair uncovered while praying or prophesying in a Christian assembly she might as well shave her head. Paul instructs the Corinthians that it is “one and the same” for a woman to have her head shaved and for her to unveil her hair.*

The Spirit of God and spirits from God are not the same; there is always clearance. Ahmed is just trying to find some historical backup for Muhammad.
I love the way Muslims use the Bible to back up their arguments or make a point but deny its validity and sacredness. Muslims throw terror in Christians's faces when they say, "They have read the Bible from cover to cover." The Bible is a divine revelation; therefore, you cannot read it the same way you read a newspaper or an ordinary book; memorizing the Qu'ran does not make you somebody at all.
One day, God spoke to me through a dream using Matthew 6:32-33; this situation turned my life around. It does not take the whole Bible for one to be saved or be transformed that is why we do not memorize it; our focus is on our relationship with God, not on how much we have memorized or intend to memorize.
