'We Won't Stop Protesting Until Bangladesh Does Away with Quota System': University Students

Students from universities across Bangladesh are protesting the quota system. Currently, a 30 per cent quota is given to the freedom fighters in jobs that extend to their children and grandchildren. The students demand quota reform, asking the rationality of giving 30 per cent reservations to only 0.13 per cent of the total population. Meanwhile, several incidents of violence have been reported, in which at least six people have lost their lives. On 16 July, clashes broke out between anti-quota protesters and the student wing of the ruling Awami League, resulting in the deaths of three people in Chattogram, Bangladesh.

INDIAN RESERVATION NEEDS TO BE CHANGED SHOULD BE BASED ON INCOME LIKE UPTO 1.50 LAKH, UPTO 3LAKH INCOME, UPTO 5,LAKH AND UPTO 8 LAKH. IN CASTE BASED RESERVATION RICH PEOPLE IN PARTICULAR RESERVED GROUP TAKES MOST OF THE BENEFIT AND THE POOR ONES REMAIN POOR ....
