With new restrictions, in order to get regular rare earths supply, now the US, Japan, Korea & Taiwan major chips foundries wanted to be back to China to manufacture there but the local Chinese have already mastered & producing 28 nm chips. However now onwards the foreign chipmakers are only ALLOWED by the Chinese Government to operate in China on the condition they only produce 14 nm & below chips! 😅
na they cant produce them without machines from the EU. They used high tech equipment to make the easiest chips available 15 year old tech that was already figured out an the ccp only has to copy the mechanism. Even Taiwan cannot produce chips without global supply chains and as normal the ccp massively overstates their ''achievement''. The Chinese people would be so better off with out the corrupt government, so i have nothing against the people and their great nation but under Xi's mismanagement we will see in a few years how all the nations progress was build on corruption creating a giant tofu dreg economy that polluted their nations soil and air. No wonder that all Chinese who can immigrate, they are voting with their feet.
