Aik mein Eurostar lage hoye aur Aik mein euro star ke.. the ride quality of Altis 1.6 which has Yokohama tyres is much superior. Aur gari abhi Tak 40000 chal gayi Aik nozil Tak nahi change hui aur abhi Tak tyre wese hi chalte. Jab ke city ke Tyre har week puncture hojata. Aur road noise bhi hae general ki.

Used General tyre in new 2016 mehran, changed at ,50k kms and again buy General tyres drive for next 43 k kms.. I never had any issue with general tyres . Yesterday I bought general tyres again for my WagonR..I am fully satisfied
Tyres were a bit Noisy after 25K..music reduced this noise ..lol .but tyres are very tough and strong..my route is very rough.. mianwali Isb, Garion, swabi, cherat, Kashmir ..where roads are very rough and some times no road . General tyres never disappoints me ..only issue is have to check air pressure once in a week .. I even drive on snwo and rain as well ..tyres were grippy even at 35k.. people who are saying General tyres is not good actually unho ny khud use ni kiye bus mentally soch lia k tyre khrb hain
Inflation pressure should not be checked so frequently. Once a month is more than sufficient.
General Tyres have 3 year warranty as well.

I think 36 PSI is bit on the higher side. 32 is more than enough
General Tyres are good. I have used Euro Tycoon for the first time in my Alto. They are good in all areas braking, handling (even on high speeds), road grip. Excellent performance in rain as well. The only downside to these tyres is the noise. They are way too much noisy especially on high speeds above 100km/hr and it gets really irritating.
Not sure what's the reason behind this, is it because of their hard nature or it has something to do with their tread pattern?
Hardness of tyres also depends upon the air pressure inside the tyres. Every single Pump/ Shop has a different reading whenever inflation pressure is checked.
You can purchase an air pressure gauge if your own and it is strongly recommended that it should be monitored with your own tyre pressure gauge.
Please remember it is not the tyre which carries the load, its the inflation pressure inside the tyre which carries the load.

i am from skardu . here road conditions are very bad . which tyre would be best for my corrola indus 185/65 R14 or 185/70 R/14 ???? please suggest me .... what is the main diffference between these two ? and which one is better ? please also mention price of general tyres .
Please remember that 185 is the width of tyres whereas 65 or 70 is the height. R is Radial and 14 is the rim size.
Since Road conditions are not good therefore any imported tyre like Yokohama, Bridgestone etc or even Chinese tyres will be a waste of money.
I would strongly recommend you to opt for General Tyres with three year’s warranty. Economical in price and easily available if any one tyre is damaged.

XP 2000 is an old technology. This pattern is noisy. However, EURO patterns are good in performance and patterns.

All General Tyres have year of manufacturing. Only B class tyres are without serial numbers/ year of manufacturing. Those tyres which are B class, does not have any warranty

Presently the Fitted tyre size is 175/65/15 Euro Star by General Tyres
I strongly recommend that you should opt for 185/65/15. This will increase the width as well as the height of the vehicle. Though, few users even go for 195/65/15 but i do not recommend this size

Khyber has genuine Rim size in 12. You can switch to 165/70/12. Dont change the Rim Size. Don’t think of switching from 12 Rim size to 13.
And if it is 13 then you can go for 175/70/13

165 is a bit big for the body.
If the Rim size is 13 you also have to see the profile as well. By profile i mean 70 or 65. Secondly the width also matters a lot.

General is a good tyre having 3 years warranty. Since profit margin is too low, Retailers dont prefer to sell it.

155/70/12 Euro is the best option. It is meant for Pakistani Roads. It has 3 years warranty. Its availability is very easy and you can get even one single tyre at any later stage.
Chinese, Dunlop or yokohama or Bridgestone are very expensive. Chinese are cheap but is one time purchase and availability of the pattern which you have chosen, will not be available after an year or so

155/70/12 is Euro Kompact. Other Euros also exist but they are in other sizes llike Euro Star, Euro Glide, Euro Tycoon etc
