Hi, I have question let say I have a question to upload excel file, now how to heve this uploaded files into my excel as Data rows it's shown as links I want a way to read from upload and insert as rows
As usual, thanks again, Leila. When I come to TH-cam to explore and learn about a new topic - in this case, MS365 and MS apps - it should be confusing because there are (literally) hundreds (if not thousands) of quality tutorials. But there are only a handful of educators who are of platinum+++ standard, whose tutorials I know will give me exactly what I need. Every time, without fail. You are right the top of the tree, and thank you for the obvious effort you put into this. if I sound extra-grateful today, it is because MS Forms is maybe their poorest documented product, and many non-MS tutorials only regurgitate the basics. It is so rewarding to arrive here and listen to your crystal clear presentation on the Forms-Excel relationship and link. Just brilliant. ☮🙏
Thank you so much for making this tutorial! My organization has been using a system of paper surveys for over ten years and this is going to save HUNDREDS of hours of work transferring them into excel and is infinitely simpler to use!
5:33 copy and paste multi-row data as individual answer options - such a time saver! In this example a list of countries is easily transported to MS forms - without the need to individually copy & paste each country name (=cell).
Thank you for your explanation. Other videos explain how to make forms, how they function, all their features, they did not explain where the data goes, how to use the collected data, where it connects to anything least of all Excel. When I first saw MS Forms I thought "ah-hah similar to Google Forms which ties into Google Sheets." Nobody explained the use of Excel, at least the videos I watched. Your explanation is a breath of enlightenment. Yes, yes, I first should have looked for your video. Thank you!
I tried it on my own yesterday (8 Dec) for the first time and I did it from Forms first, I couldn't get it shared to who I wanted it to go to. I thank you for this video, good job.
I am currently moving our company to Teams and using these apps to connect our organization. Your videos have been such a huge asset for me! Thank you!
As a novice I was able to follow along and create my first MS Forms document. Now that it's created it has to go to multiple administrators for approval. I'm off to see if there's a video, by you of course, to automate the flow of approvals. Fingers Crossed
@@LeilaGharani Hi, I'm from Iran 🇮🇷 I have a problem I want to know how can we convert the Xlsm file to Exe or something like that Others can use this app without Excel. I searched for this about 8months Can you help us??
I love and appreciate the timeliness of your videos, Leila. Sometimes I feel like we're on a similar learning journey, but that you're just ahead of me, so that I (and obviously everyone else) reaps the benefits of your willingness to share what you know and have learned. Greatly appreciated, and don't stop learning and sharing!
I've recently had to create more and more forms to collect opinions/preferences, basic data and have had so much trouble getting this accomplished. After watching a couple of hours worth I can across this one and it is a time saver! The tutorial is so easy to follow at a nice pace with great explanation. Thank you, thank you!
Now Leila!, You know you should have SELECTED 20 for the answer about your Excel skills!! 😁😋 I agree with the comments below - here I am needing to create my first survey form, and (as always), here you are boosting my knowledge level on the subject! I appreciate you, Leila, WE ALL appreciate you - you're SAVING LIVES out here on these Microsoft Office streets - PROPS!
Leila, unbelievable well presentations. I didn’t learn anything in school, despite thousands owed in student loans, compared with what I learned from you. Thank you much!!!
Thank you, I have 365 account, but creating forms directly, not from excel. Then I downloaded the responses in excel, copy and paste them in my master excel. I was not aware of crating forms from excel itself. Thanks for sharing.
still watching your videos leila i'm not getting bored about microsoft forms in this pandemic situation and learning a lot more thank you so much ....... hope you do more and more videos further ..and i can't wait to watch it................... thank you once again 👍👍🙏🙏
It is very useful to get responses from people via Microsoft Forms in secure manner. Users also have good options to analys the data through Excel. That make easier for selection of better responses. Thanks for the tutorial Leila.
Thank you very much.. i am into market research domain and working with other survey platforms but today because of you i came to know this an another beautiful option.. thank you..
I had learned a lot from you. You are the best in explaining things. Your presentation skills and ability to put important points in a concise manner, that what I admire a lot. We can try it to take online quiz as well.
Every time I watch your video, I end up learning something new and today was no exception! Just when I thought, I knew Forms enough, I was surprised by some things I never noticed! Thanks for enlightening! 😊👍 BTW, up next is what? a video on Grid documents? Would love to learn that from you!
Thanks for sharing this Leila - it was well presented! One would be also interested in how best or smartest to analyze the data towards presenting from the created survey via say pivot or otherwise?
Thank you for your videos, it helps me to stay up to date with excel. I've the paid version of Office 365 and I didn't find "Forms" in excel, any hints?
I am a BIG fan of yours!! Incredibly amazing presentation and I NEVER get bored of the topics you share and teach!! BEST OF LUCK to you because you deserve all the best!!
Hi, I am a great fan of the way you teach and the topics that you cover. I have learned a lot from your videos. While I was going through the current video, it just came to my mind that Google Forms is also an effective tool to create survey form. I have not used Microsoft forms earlier, so I am not sure which is better one.
Microsoft Forms is relatively new. I actually only used Google Forms before. There were a few things that Excel Forms lacked. They've really improved though and continuing to improve.
What a great tutorial! I noticed today that another entry point to create one is within the desired folder of the Excel file in Microsoft Teams. In the file viewer within Teams, click + to create new, and then select Forms (it will have the Excel icon) it should do the same thing!
Thank you for your time in putting this video together. Many helpful tips. My question is let's say that one of the lines asked for their phone number. Is there a way to have their response automatically come up as (xxx) xxx-xxxx?
Hi Leila- Just finished watching your video. Thank-you for taking time to make it. It was a 5 on helpful. I do have a follow-up question...I noticed the forms were entered in excel as anonymous and with no email if not in company. I run an educational program and do need to associate responses by name at least. None of my students are "in my company" Any suggestions on how to get names?
Leila, I've only just found and am I glad I have. How can I make this also a paper survey and load the results into Excel? Can you point me in the right direction?🙏
This is interesting ❤ but what is the difference between Google forms and Microsoft forms ? I believe we can get the survey results with Google forms as well
Hi Leila, TY for this educational video. Very insightful indeed. Could you guide me to identify why some qr codes are unrecognizable on Android only and not on Apple
Thanks Leila for a very good and easy understandable video for creating survey form from excel. Now I am facing an issue in creating quiz using this method. While creating quiz in Teams classroom it is not showing the forms created from excel. Can you help me out in solving the issue
Hello good video, very informative and easy explained. How can I connect the form and spreadsheet to Teams so inserts are submitted live? Need this as an App for team members to submit hot calls which would go live into the excel sheet, which is supposed to be connected to a Teams Channel.
Great! Is it possible to set /automate to send reminder to the client if he/she has not yet completed the survey. Like for example - remainder once every Monday until the client completes the survey. Appreciate your response
May I ask if we can automatically email the respondent after submitting the form? Like webminar invitation link on Team. Anw, all ur tutorials are gems. It helps me a lot!
Thanks Leila for tutorial, after watching this video, I have successfully created a form but I encountered some issue like few additional columns and duplicated columns are in excel sheet. How can I fix this issue, Please help me out.
Great video thank you so much. Is there a way to trigger a form from particular cell or a row from Excel and response to that form should be saved in the same row/cell from wr it was triggered?
Hi Leila. Thanks for this Forms demo and good tips on how to start and the options available. Always interesting and useful information at your channel :)) Thumbs up!!
