I also like that you don't use clickbait thumbnails, makes everything seem more professional and honest. I passed on New World and started playing this instead because of you (and some of my own research).
@@mithrandrilltharkun1970 There are so many people that aren't banned or muted in the game, the game is actually a really fun game to play and worth the time you put into it. Don't call it a bad game just because you were permamuted by some stupid mod because you said 'murder is bad'. It sure isn't a nice thing but saying people who play the game are wasting their time isn't right.
Great review of Albion in 2022 from a new player experience. They recently changed the silver drops so you don't have to click anymore so maybe they watched your video and changed it based on that suggestion. I'm very happy to see a lot more ppl finally taking notice that this game is something special to players both veteran and new.
The deagro range is purposefully low because when it was higher you could pull multiple rooms and just AOE them all for insane XP if you had the right group, like you could in the old open world static dungeons. It makes a bit of sense and is fine once you get used to it.
@Richard Sackler I don't mind the change as much for random dungeons as they aren't as dangerous as statics overall, the old static method has to be done by a nature healer who knew what they were doing but with RDs you wouldn't even need that. It does make you wonder if there's anything else they could have done instead though.
Tanks pulling wall to wall is standard fare in other MMOs and they can make the aggro range higher without them de aggroing just because you knocked them back lmao
Haven't played in years and never really played all that far. Thanks for the nice informative video, going to have to check it out again over the holidays. Have a great Xmas and New Year everyone! 💖
DONT waste your time. Mod abuse is rampant and they permamute people for really stupid shit. I got muted for saying don't murder people and defining a word.
i stopped playing when they repeated the trading restriction. we should be able to resell albion online money. prohibiting resale like that violates American social norms.
it was a bot, and a badly scripted one, i am either curious if he does it to print money, or to farm fame (these are experience points for the weapons and get better damage)
Happy to hear they are working on the server issues. Even when you are connecting from europe, you have a ping well in the hundreds. Also nice of you to shout out Leyvi. He's got some awesome guides. :)
I love this game! There's so many things that's done right; very well thought out. It could use a few more options to allow end-game PvE that doesn't require casual players to go through red or black zones but, other than that, I think the game is nearly perfect. It would certainly allow my friends to be more invested in the game as they play exclusively PvE games (which brings you, at best, at tier 5 content ~ out of 8). The biggest downside I've found with the game is that, for anything other than faction warfare, it seems that any organized group/guild expect players to know and follow the meta... even for something silly like static dungeons. So if you want to experiment and/or learn what's the best build for you (and avoid following an existing build like a mindless drone), you're kind of SoL unless you're lucky enough to find a casual/welcoming guild.
@@TheM7MD911 They have guides because they expect players to play the meta as early as possible; that's kind of what I'm trying to say. If you do not play the current meta, you are seen as less valuable or a liability. They'll "help" you by constantly reminding you of the meta and a LOT of groups/guilds will criticize you for it and/or kick you out. I'm not saying it's impossible to find a group or guild that lets you do your own thing but you will most likely get discouraged during your search. I've been playing on and off since 2017 and, from my experience, the guilds that are easy to find and aren't heavily encouraging you follow the meta are those who are inactive and/or tax you like crazy. - I've been kicked from random groups for not wearing the "right" helmet. - I've been told by guild mates that I wasn't "allowed" to tank a T4 group dungeon (while wearing T7 gear) because I was wielding a hammer instead of a mace. - I've been kicked from guilds because I was wearing T4 one day experimenting on a build. It sounds unbelievably silly but it happens on more occasion than I care to admit. There's a lot of egos, there's a lot of drama (especially between alliances), there's a lot of people that are fixated on the meta and I find that this is the vast majority of the groups/guilds you'll encounter. Maybe it's just an issue with the Lymhurst population, I don't know. The good news is that it's relatively easy to get in a group/guild and finding one that performs well isn't hard either... so, if you're willing to (or instinctively) switch your brain off and follow someone else's build, you'll have no problems.
I'll be honest, I've had a very on and off again relationship with this game. I haven't played in a couple years, but based on what I've seen in this video I may actually come back. It doesn't seem *as* grindy as it did before, and the PvEvP dungeon thing looks really fun too.
@@Lycanmaster false. the game is still grindy as shit due to the sheer amount of fame required to reach max spec. not to mention the grind of progressing your island or crafting. YOU clearly haven't played the game recently. go check any albion youtuber's channel and the first videos you will see are "best fame per hour farm" because the game is still grindy as shit no matter how desperately albion fanboys try to convince people it isn't.
I've been playing literally only albion for about 6 months and have been beyond happy with the game. Theres so much depth for a game so simple and (end game) type content is extremely rewarding and completely optional
@@mithrandrilltharkun1970 Jesus calm yourself, nobody is going to take you seriously with all caps. So you gave them $100 a few years ago and after years of playing you got a problem with the devs? Seems you still got your moneys worth.
I've been where you were. Now I'm finally free. It's like getting out of a toxic relationship, you finally begin seeing all the issues it had. From the endless grind to the fact that most of the content is essentially locked by the high-end player base whom you could never take on. Gathering ressources is impossibly slow and unrewarding due to bots, crafting is impossible because getting to a significant level would cost insane mountains of ressources and every bit of PvP is determined almost exclusively by playing time (and as a result the quality of gear), not by skill. The community is incredibly toxic and unhelpful (which is rather logical given the entire economy is built around cutthroat mechanics that enrich the rich). The reason I quit after half a year of insane hours is that all the grind lead to nothing. It was impossible to ever reach the higher eschelons, because after a certain point entering zones that would allow you further progress was a death sentence due to roving bands of gankers.
I played albion some time ago and what annoyed me the most is that pretty fast you will hit a progression wall where you either have to grind for ages or get into some red zones for decent fame. You listed it as a pro but solo dungeons are NOT solo player friendly as in red zones you can get invaded by a group of 5 people with some extras waiting outside in case you get away. You get beat up, lose all your stuff and have to start over for a decent bit. This is a general problem with full loot PVP games. The only version of actual 1 v 1 pvp dungeons are corrupted dungeons, even then there are people waiting at the red zone exits to kill you if you wonna leave with your loot...
well, the game has non-full-loot content too. red and black zones are for risk taker. in my personal experience, I love running from gankers. It gives me adrenaline rush more than fighting lol. but at the end of the day, you do what you like and what is fun to you.
For your Con - no in game community builds. If you join a guild or an alliance, they have community loadout builds for their members. Loadout can be saved, shared, and you can auto purchase the items from the auction house.
There is a reason why you wouldn't want to auto-loot all silver. While doing solo runs in red/black zone dungeons, you can leave the silver on the ground, and if someone comes in your dungeon to dive / kill you, if they pick up the silver, you can see that in your chat channel. (it gives you a heads up that someone is in your dungeon) so that you arent mid-fight with a boss and someone just comes and kills you. Note, smart players wont pick up the silver laying on the ground if they are dungeon diving other players
Man I love watching you play this game, your editing style is PERFECT for it too, please do some more? Just exploring your way through all the way to black zones xD
@@TheLazyPeon I will say your views on this game can biased depending on your gear situation considering if your really high level you are also way stronger in full loot pvp situations
It's gonna be the last video of the year or the first video of 2022, will reveal the final gym progress, wanna get a few more recordings in as there's a few months recording gap due to months of lockdown
its been about 6 months but i feel like albion could use a little more pve for new players that want to ease into the game for a week or two group pvp with some pve is where its at but i feel like some solo pve gets people into games like this , i played at launch and its certainly better but i feel like it could still be better
just adding i do think its a good game and it does get updates and solo play actually exists now unlike launch but it still has very little solo content outside pvp
Yeah, I tried the pvp pve portion, lost all my gear once and quit. There should also be more info like how to enter different dungeons and stuff, I had to join a guild to do multiplayer pvp and I still had no idea how it worked
yeah . I love the game but there is that I am "avoiding"' the game because of losing the gear at one point in the game even if you invest thousands of hours in the game you still lose the game so what's the point in playing? they should invest in pve content like path of exile or diablo since this could have a pontential to compete with top down mmorpg games
@@regicidez5361 to this same issue, i've been answered that you dont have to attach to anything in matter of gears but only cash (or technically doing what you want) I've figured that if you like rolling around in gucci gear, probably Albion isnt that kind of game. I am one of those also that love to showoff but i merely do it in t4 and t5
I'm a huge fan of Albion Online... I personally have various game systems as masterclass. The full loot aspect might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I think everyone should at least play this game to learn how various Albion game systems can be used in other games to make those games better.
The only thing that ruins it is using click to move rather than keyboard... Melee'ing large bosses with click to avoid mechanics winds up far too often with you misclicking and getting spanked... =\
Full loot aspect is fundamental to the game and it drives the economy in a significant without. Without full loot pvp the pve side of the game will die that's the beauty of Albion its a balance and symbiosis of both!
Now this is a A tier mmo in my opinion, Game feels like an actual mmo rather than some instanced lobby game, its actually challenging in all aspects of the game, and the monetisation is pretty fair. Kind of pay until you get good, and even then its only the price of a sub and maybe a coin pack after a few unlucky deaths, once you get good you will have more than enough currency to pay for the sub with in game currency just by playing the game. And even before then i didnt really ever feel the need to pay more than like an ffxiv sub.
I tried Albion Online last year and didnt quite stick to it, but the dungeons and bosses we see in this video honnestly makes me wanna try it again ! i'll deffinitly give it a shot, after all, its free !
Wow, Albion has come a long way, i was one of the earliest backer for Albion and i played Albion since day 1, i remember a lot of the OG players retired before even it was full release as it was in Alpha for almost 2 years. we all quit before even full release Looking at the game now, i wish i were still playing.
so cool to see you play albion man, takes me back to when i started albion 4 years ago. I still play it and love it. i hope you do more videos about albion! albion really deserves attention
Agreed. If there was a PvE only server for this game I'd play the crap out of it as the crafting and leveling aspect of it feels really good. Alas, for me, there is no point in striving for that shiny uber gear knowing I can lose it at any second and with it months of resources and time. I don't WANT to run around in the game in common T4 gear. I wanna farm up and equip the best gear in the game. But this game actively discourages you to do so.
@@fedord01 you completely missed the point of the game lmao. but yeah this game isnt made for pussies. ontop of that you lose virtual items not your life. but yeah if you wanna be a roleplayer skyrim or final fantasy might be for you
I’d wish they’d add some story or lore content, like proper questing. Also real cities with better architecture. To top it off I’d want a more RuneScape like camera control, change angles and rotate. I understand not being able to zoom out for pvp reasons, but if they could do that also then bonus.
The editing on this is superb. I can't tell if you are commenting over a prerecorded video or the editor has cut all of the stream into a cohesive video. If the latter, it is truly next level. Either way, the content is fabulous as always!
as a veteran player the only few issues i have with the game are with pve. the worst thing is definetly the auto respec system.. what it does is when you reach 100 spec on an item the fame you gain using that item dont go to waste and is turned into fame credits. the thing is it costs silver and a lot of it and its basically a must thing to use. you need to use certain items when you pve to be efficient. random builds just dont work. also you kinda want to be playing on items you are speced and strong on. as for an example 1m fame credits cost you 1m+ silver (even when picking silver from drops) which makes no sense because its basically the same price as using tomes of insight (tomes of insight are instant fame that u just buy).. 1m silver = 1m fame credits = 2m fame/ 1m silver = 50 tomes of insight = 500k fame on 4/5 items at once = 2-2.5m fame total. ofcrs you can use credits on a singular item at once and using it on armors somehow magicaly its worth more fame than using it on weapons (makes no sense) but it still feels wrong. when you farm fame you can get 5-10m fame credits pretty easily in an hour. so you kinda have to pay like 10m silver an hour to do pve.. spending 10m silver an hour is an absurd amount. ofcrs albion sells silver for real money and if you would buy it it would be basically like 10-15$ an hour for pve farming fame.. for me personaly this just feels wrong. imo you should earn silver fighting monsters and not have to pay to do it. there are some other issues but this is the major one for me personaly.
@@Blunteen ye gold sink to keep the economy stable. The thing is they sell silver for money which is the reason they have to do such extreme gold sinks to stabalize the amount they sell. Which is absolutely absurd. And 10m sink an hour is a huge amount of silver even for the richest of players. And making silver is definetly not that easy. The fact that u got to pay to pve is absurd as it is. But having to pay such amounts is just fkig up the game to the point where buying fame is more worth than spending time farming it.
And how about they make the sink elsewhere for an example making vanity costumes purchasable for gold which i may add they promised to do when they released the first vanity (rogue one). They said they gonna make it available for gold in half a year of its release but they went back on their word because they can make more money this way.
@@Alaus i would have to disagree, here were talking about a system that is beyond end game, a place where you are maxed out and get to keep enjoying the game...basically
I used to play a game called Albion on our old pentium windows PC. It had a turn based combat system and was set in space in the beginning. At some point the ship crashed and the characters were stranded on a strange planet. Got stuck in a part set in a jungle. It haunts me to this day. I need to finish that game. :D
Oddly unrelated but funny and relatable. My sister and I played a Medal of Honor game years ago and it was 2AM on a night map. We enter this building and kill all the guys inside. We get a bit confused how to proceed but little did we know, this house was haunted. While moving around the house, the katana guy we FOR SURE killed caMe out of nowhere and chopped my sister. I legged it out and waited for her to respawn. Shortly after we chuck a grenade in the room he's in and then burst in SWAT style. There's nothing to be seen, no body, nothing! Paranoid as hell, we more desperately try to find a way out. The TV screen we had at the time was terrible which made night missions really difficult to see so only the lit house was really visible. 30 minutes in and he returns from what I can only guess to be hell. Slashing my sister again. I shoot him in the head and he falls. A wave of relief floods over us but there is still uneasiness as we saw his corpse last time. Tired and scared, we turn off the PS2 and go to bed. What's weird is we've played that level many times before and there's exactly 1 katana guy in that house and enemies don't respawn. Still creepy to this day
honestly..... the more I look into this game the more it feels like my kind of game.... you can COMPLETELY play solo if you want and that's.... honestly refreshing.... tie into that the "play it your way" style the game seems to encourage is really enticing
i dont know about that the game is about groups ganking you and you unable to farm anything because you lose it as soon as you go in a red zone because there are 20 people already waiting for you
I tried to play when it became f2p. Did the tutorial, was doing kinda ok, but suddenly i was thrown in a city, and i had no idea of what to do. I was totally lost, and never leaved the city, just stopped playing.
Next goal usually is to do dungeons, find ways to multiply your silver from dungeons and then eventually buy your first 30d premium with in game currency.
I tried like 3 times to get into this game. And even knowing the type of game it is, I still would like some narrative direction with quest or something.
since nobody seem to say it in the comments, picking up silver, or anything really, makes you vulnerable.. it dismounts you in the open world, put s you out of stealth, makes you lose your shields etc etc. picking up silver is a needed game mechanic that you will appreciate after a while(most people dont even pick up silver btw), at first i was complaining too about most of the things you mentioned, i would also have loved an autopath or a follow button but after you play for a while you ll understand why they made it like this, game is so deep and everything makes sense to be honest if you play enough... please use quick cast on button press for your spells. it saves you one click and time is litterally money, especially with your ping
Maybe I am old, maybe I am lazy but I feel like games should have an auto loot option these days, manually looting just slows you down and is very tedious.
you can turn off force combat mode option in settings, that would make looting silver easier, almost no one loots silver anyways when they do pve cuz it drops really little amount
Best experience in Albion is actually black zone roaming/ganking contents along with ZvZ and also the guilds and the politics surround them are really great and as you contribute your time to a guild/group you really feel like that you belong to that guild/group.
Its a small thing but I like the cross platform nature of this game. Its one of the few MMOs I can play that my wife's not complaining about me sitting on the computer all day because you can play it on your phone.
Tip: Dont make a healer build if you are new player because the mobs will kill you first. If the player don't have a team mate that have a large threat generation or in a group.
Fun Fact about Donkeys they are actually BEASTS! They can kill Wolves and Coyotes and do so all the time, My grandpas donkey killed 2 Pitbulls for biting it's baby no joke! Look on TH-cam you will see, Donkies are G's they bite on and ragdolls toss things until they die!.

There is a load outs button that you can use to get builds together and purchase directly from the market, the Albion team has a video on that and I think you should look at it and bring it up to the audience.
for the silver pick-up. Its kind of a pvp thing. Because if youre invading a dungeon in a black zone you can put up the chatbox that lets you see loot and see if someone is in the dungeon nearby, and who it is by the coins they pick up. But def there should of a feature that auto does it for you if you wish.
You'd be surprised how many players play from regions far from NA, I'm from NA but I'd say more than 50% of players I've played with and made friends are from EU, South America, Asia and some Russians as well.
If you play with 300 ping in 3 months you'll get used to it, you'll eventually learn the lag timings it's quite ez tho, just do everything in advance and you'll be fine, I'm from Philippines, around 250-300 ping.😁
looting silver will show up in ur chat window if someone is close to you. People use to leave it back in the day cause it was a early warning if someone picked up gold off screen on your dungeon level.
New players weren't staying away because of anything to do with the things they fixed in the update. It's still non-consensual PVP and there's a huge player base that want nothing to do with that. The player base you have is as big as it's going to get no matter what update you do
Bruh...The PvP in Albion is 90% of late game, it's the defining feature of the game. So that "hudge player Base" can go play WoW . The game is not missingout on these players, it's the other way arround.
It's perfectly valid opinion and I respect it. It just doesn't bear out through MMORPG success popularity or numbers. I would tell you to go play another game like this but there aren't any because that player base simply is a minority that regular players have no interest in. You have a like-minded PVP group ganking each other endlessly and that's about it. The sheep have caught on

It took me 6 weeks to get to tier 4 armor, then i quit because the progression felt incredibly slow.... and you're telling me you got to tier 5/6 in 5 hours???
you can get to t6 in one hour(or less) you must have done something very wrong.. game is not so easy to pick up at the beginning but i would reccomend you give it an other go, i feel like you are missing out... also last update incresed a lot fame gaining from open world activities and levelling up has never been so easy, there will be a 25% bonus fame too for the Holidays which is helfull
I think the deaggro range works in zones.. Once you out of mob zone it deaggro.. Without that passing through congested mob area will be impossible while looking for dungeons.

I used to play this with 3 of my irl friends everyday. One day we decided that we were finally ready to go into a redzone and explore some dungeons for better loot. Some high level dude came in after us and kept killing us as soon as we resurrected, this went on for about 15 minutes. We couldn’t even fight back, he was one-shotting us and refused to let us leave even though we were there first. When we realised there was no escape we decided to just log off. I get that the game is supposed to be like this, it’s a pvp heavy game but it still sucked, it was an awful experience. Me and my friends never bothered anyone, we just wanted to adventure together but one encounter ruined it for us, we never played the game again 🥲
If he kept killing you once you resurrected, you weren't in the redzone. If you were in the redzone, you would've died and respawned in the city. Also, once you resurrect, you have a time period in which you are invulnerable (and if memory serves me well, it's enough to A out of the dungeon). Tho it still sucks what that guys was doing
@@dusanjov127 I can’t remember which area we were in now, I just knew it was a red map because pvp was allowed in the open. We tried to run believe me but he just followed us and somehow he was faster than us and and one-shotted us. We would log out and come back and he was there waiting. There was no escaping him.
@@Robbo240 PvP is also allowed in yellow zones, so it was probably that (again, since you were able to resurrect). He probably had faster mount, and I imagine he had a lot of high tier gear. Those guys that do that and then spend all of their time hunting new players in yellow zones (where they can't lose their high tier gear) are the worst
let me solve your issue, i am guessing you were knocked down in yellow zone, as soon as you got up, you have a shield that gives you enough time to run away as long as you don't hit him, you said you would log out and come back and he was waiting, just close your game for 5 mins and surely no one would waste 5 mins waiting for some yellow zone kill.
Pro tip kite in a circle or half circle pattern, has always worked for me in any game i have played ranged, yeah the corrupted dungeons remind me a little of dark souls pvp.
Looking at how fast you progressed with fighting and how slowly i'm making progress through crafting. I may have to change my approach for at least a few lvl.
The best part is leveling up so that max geared players can gank you for profits they would earn from 10 minutes of game play. ;D Rock on! It wasn't bad, I played a couple months, mainly for the crafting and resource harvesting/ market side of the game. I played another MMO for raiding/pvp and wanted this to be my peace MMO at that time. Casual dungeon raiding with other pick up players was fun PVE I enjoyed. My favorite sandbox mmos are EVE, Albion, and Ultima Online (private servers and official game).
Never played it, not sure if ever will, as I'm not a big fan of hardcore PvP, but it does look interesting. One of the biggest turnoffs for me for this type of game is the build complexity, (just like PoE) it's overwhelming at start, and you have to figure it out right from the get go as they usually don't allow easy changes and experimenting for free, so basically you play with a wiki open so you don't make a costly mistake, which often takes away the fun part of being a clueless noob stumbling around. Your build solution is really neat and I like it.
I mean, if you know what you’re doing, you can get to endgame pretty quickly. Part of the fun of MMOs is exploring, and people don’t want to do that nowadays, so if you follow a guide you can get to do pvp dungeons in an evening
As a new player myself (started 12 days ago) I very much second the cons (and pros) brought up in this video. As fun as the game is overall, the silver gathering in a private dungeon is tedious. Once such a dungeon is closed to further players, why not have the dropped silver auto collect, as noone else could get it anyways? Or have some pet collect it which only comes out in such dungeons. And I lost count how often I got knocked back by those lava golems when playing ranged only to immediately lose aggro! Anyways, thanks for another great video, and back to playing Albion :-)
Risk vs revard. About silver drop. Think like this, some mobs in open world can drop up to 100k+ silver, lets say you are in situation you kill that mob but you still didnt pick up that silver, enemy player shows up you see him and you run, enemy comes and takes your silver or not so you are in situation do you go for that 100k or you dont are you willing to risk it geting in pvp. Even with silver drops game gives you a choice its up to you is it worth or not
I found this video very attractive for a potential new game. I'm seeing that it has been a half year since this was created. I do plan to give it a go. Thank you for the review, comments, and willingness to go through the new player process.

@Richard Sackler I don't mind the change as much for random dungeons as they aren't as dangerous as statics overall, the old static method has to be done by a nature healer who knew what they were doing but with RDs you wouldn't even need that. It does make you wonder if there's anything else they could have done instead though.
yeah bc pulling more at once is fun and we cant have fun in games nowadays. lets just let the mobs reset when they knock u back lol. stupid.
Tanks pulling wall to wall is standard fare in other MMOs and they can make the aggro range higher without them de aggroing just because you knocked them back lmao
let them pull as many as they can handle?

Happy to hear they are working on the server issues. Even when you are connecting from europe, you have a ping well in the hundreds.
Also nice of you to shout out Leyvi. He's got some awesome guides. :)
Are they really?
Actually a lot of guilds are welcoming for new players and and have guides for meta builds and zvz builds in their discord.
Seen a lot of ads of this game but this is the first true gameplay I've seen. Looks pretty fun! Might try it out in the near future.
I'll be honest, I've had a very on and off again relationship with this game. I haven't played in a couple years, but based on what I've seen in this video I may actually come back. It doesn't seem *as* grindy as it did before, and the PvEvP dungeon thing looks really fun too.
It's so much easier to fame now, so much less grinding
don't let it fool you. the game is as grindy as ever, and not a whole lot has changed aside from some qol changes and the faction system.
@@sonnyankau9239 youve obviously not played since launch cause its not even remotely close to as grindy as it used to be

Mobile and pc are the same thing right ? Same content same servers etc…?
Note, smart players wont pick up the silver laying on the ground if they are dungeon diving other players

yeah . I love the game but there is that I am "avoiding"' the game because of losing the gear at one point in the game even if you invest thousands of hours in the game you still lose the game so what's the point in playing? they should invest in pve content like path of exile or diablo since this could have a pontential to compete with top down mmorpg games
@@regicidez5361 to this same issue, i've been answered that you dont have to attach to anything in matter of gears but only cash (or technically doing what you want)

After you get good, you won't need to pay the sub anymore. You will be able to afford the silver for a sub pretty easily.
But , its feels monotonous dude

Hey Peon, I remember how you narrated when had 100k subs. You grew man. I lost count how many times I have chuckled and lol'd. Thumbs up
as a veteran player the only few issues i have with the game are with pve. the worst thing is definetly the auto respec system.. what it does is when you reach 100 spec on an item the fame you gain using that item dont go to waste and is turned into fame credits. the thing is it costs silver and a lot of it and its basically a must thing to use. you need to use certain items when you pve to be efficient. random builds just dont work. also you kinda want to be playing on items you are speced and strong on. as for an example 1m fame credits cost you 1m+ silver (even when picking silver from drops) which makes no sense because its basically the same price as using tomes of insight (tomes of insight are instant fame that u just buy).. 1m silver = 1m fame credits = 2m fame/ 1m silver = 50 tomes of insight = 500k fame on 4/5 items at once = 2-2.5m fame total. ofcrs you can use credits on a singular item at once and using it on armors somehow magicaly its worth more fame than using it on weapons (makes no sense) but it still feels wrong. when you farm fame you can get 5-10m fame credits pretty easily in an hour. so you kinda have to pay like 10m silver an hour to do pve.. spending 10m silver an hour is an absurd amount. ofcrs albion sells silver for real money and if you would buy it it would be basically like 10-15$ an hour for pve farming fame.. for me personaly this just feels wrong. imo you should earn silver fighting monsters and not have to pay to do it. there are some other issues but this is the major one for me personaly.
its called a gold sink, and i feel like it is necessary, plus its really easy to make the silvers in this game

I tried to play when it became f2p. Did the tutorial, was doing kinda ok, but suddenly i was thrown in a city, and i had no idea of what to do. I was totally lost, and never leaved the city, just stopped playing.
Its a common problem with sandbox games, there is no direction. Instead, maybe look up the content that you want to do then work towards it.
Next goal usually is to do dungeons, find ways to multiply your silver from dungeons and then eventually buy your first 30d premium with in game currency.
Its the most f2p mmorpg there is.. P2w players only have the advantage of skipping the grinding part. F2p players can grind and reach the p2w players.
You can search TH-cam guides for it.
Great Video Peon. I always find myself coming to your channel on a daily basis and really enjoying the content you produce!
Then again, mobile version do have auto pickup silver. Seems like either a misstep in mobile version or they forgot to add in pc version
Maybe I am old, maybe I am lazy but I feel like games should have an auto loot option these days, manually looting just slows you down and is very tedious.
Would not work with the nature of pvp looting and open world looting chests the risk with getting caught
you can turn off force combat mode option in settings, that would make looting silver easier, almost no one loots silver anyways when they do pve cuz it drops really little amount

That's the difference between Albion and other mmos. Gear is not precious. It is only a means to an end.
There is a load outs button that you can use to get builds together and purchase directly from the market, the Albion team has a video on that and I think you should look at it and bring it up to the audience.

DON'T play this game. Mods play game and use their positions to target players they don't like.
@@nickel6011 it doesn’t matter now, that was months ago. My friends don’t wanna play it again. We are playing final fantasy 14 now
Pro tip kite in a circle or half circle pattern, has always worked for me in any game i have played ranged, yeah the corrupted dungeons remind me a little of dark souls pvp.
albion combat is so fucking awful
combat looks very slow and clunky...as someone who likes fast moving games, definitely not for me
Looking at how fast you progressed with fighting and how slowly i'm making progress through crafting. I may have to change my approach for at least a few lvl.
Been playing OSRS for a while and wanted something new. Gonna give this game a try, thanks for covering it!
You won't regret it. Lots of old rs players in Albion too. Join a guild and it'll feel like you are reliving old memories with past friends from rs.
I’ve been playing for a week & I have not done any dungeons and I joined a faction but man. Faction versus faction and the dungeons look like fun!
Your build solution is really neat and I like it.
community build tabs would be so great!
Always love the vids bro you save many the time and effort on deciding if its worth our time or not!
It's not, due to abusive toxic mods abusing their position.
What little I got to play on mobile was just dungeon raiding, getting fast progession and averaging around 30-60k silver a run
I mean, if you know what you’re doing, you can get to endgame pretty quickly.
Part of the fun of MMOs is exploring, and people don’t want to do that nowadays, so if you follow a guide you can get to do pvp dungeons in an evening
I didn't know you could do half of these things safe early on, got to give it another go.
Great video, thanks a bunch
DON'T Abusive mods rule this game.
Albion has the best Auction House/player market out of any mmo I’ve played.
I just casually started playing and im completely addicted. This is the best mmo ive played in years.
Even with silver drops game gives you a choice its up to you is it worth or not
Don't waste your time, if you get to far along mods will perma mute you trying to force you to abandon that character, unless you join their guild.
I found this video very attractive for a potential new game. I'm seeing that it has been a half year since this was created. I do plan to give it a go. Thank you for the review, comments, and willingness to go through the new player process.
I live in Australia, and i can totally relate to your bad ping on a *spiritual* level-
The short deaggro range is my biggest pet peeve with albion as a solo ranged player. Really annoying.
Bro ur reaction to seeing faction vs faction was so nice to see.
I really really like your player created build tab idea! Even online it's hard to find good websites for builds
Funny, I literally came across Albion (again) just now and watch some vids and thought, I wonder what Lazy P. had to say on the game and searched your channel only to find you just released this video haha. Thanks!
Finally!!!! Love the vids bro
The auto silver pick up was a very welcome feature :)
in the settings you can turn on auto target mobs
and there is a community build tab
15:12 Corrupted Portals are literally Rifts from Diablo3 mister Peon :D good video
I think I will jump into this game again. The start was horrible, but now it could be great! :) Thanks!
Happy Christmas dude :)
Ive played osrs a bit but havent ever like any other mmos, after watching this im installing it right now and gonna try it out in the morning 👍
Don't waste your time, corrupt mods.
I left years ago when they nerfed Druid (Nature Staff) to the ground. My HoT DoT build was fun back when you could make a hybrid out of it.
