I went on holiday to the Himalayas in 2003 and 2004. I stayed in McLeod Ganj, which is just along the road from Dharamsala, the home of the Dalai Lama. All I can say is that it was the most spiritual experience of my life. I have so many fond memories!
What the west don't know is that these monks and spiritual masters are very important on this earth to keep the balance like a sea saw, without them meditating, the balance will be upset in favour of evil ,they have so much power to keep our earth from destruction, they also will not interfere in the karmas of man's mind ,but protect on the side of Dharma.
One hundred percent. Its because Of their prayes and grace we are standing up and nature is giving us "air" that's life. love light and Blessings to them🙏
Be it liberation or enlightement, the more we think and talk about them the further we are from experiencing them. Silent minds and mouths have the best information about it all lol thanks for the great entertainment, we should all be monks
Thank you for this video. I wanted to clarify this: People confuse liberation and enlightenment. Liberation is a state of consciousness. A consequence of work on oneself. Liberation allows one to obtain "ananda" (state of bliss) + silent mind + freed from animal impulses + freed from the notion of desire and freed from the notion of attachment. There is no more fear, no desire or attachment. This is liberation. But liberation does not allow one to get out of the cycle of reincarnations. For this it is necessary to move on to the next step: Illumination. Illumination consists of transforming one's physical body into an energetic body. (transfiguration). This involves circulating Prana through all the chakras in order to activate the consciousness that is present in each of the atoms of the physical body. At that moment all the energetic bodies merge with the physical body. This is illumination. Note: For all living beings, the updating of the energetic bodies occurs when the body dies. At the time of death, consciousness withdraws from the body (atom by atom) and consciousness injects the life path into the energy bodies. These energy bodies gather thousands of past lives and define operating trends for the next incarnation. Enlightenment is a live update before death.
I'm glad you have it all so well explained, very intellectual about it all arent we? In my experience our human capacity for intellectual comprehension is the #1 mental detour or blockage to experiences of liberation and enlightenment both, however you distinguish the two
@@KenSoHappyClegg Thank you for your interest. In response to your comment: 1- No, the blockage comes from the mind itself which is identified with the false Self. This identification with the false Self gives birth to the ego which itself engenders pride. In summary: identification => ego => pride. 2- You cannot increase your intellectual capacities. We can only act on our behavior, on our attitude towards reality. I think the keys are - acceptance of everything that happens in our life, - humility (being aware of the destructive power of the ego) - being aware that the Self is a false Self (since it is the product of education and life history). 3- If this work on oneself is done, the level of consciousness will gradually increase and intellectual capacities with it. 4- Liberation is the gift that consciousness gives us when the work is finished. Only consciousness can free us. 5- I am not an intellectual. I speak from experience and am happy to share. Thank you
Nice video but too many mix pictures. Many monks is accutaly from Thailand... and some sadus from India not Himalayas. But the informations it's self it's correct
India is the most sacred country for the Buddhist and monks from other countries visit many spiritual places , especially in High Himalayan ranges of India, Nepal and Indian Sadhus also visit Tibetan, especially the Mount Kailash areas…. P.S the longest Himalayan mountain ranges are in India : from Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh to the Arunachal Pradesh….
In according the Veda, there are four ages, Satya yuga, tetra yuga, dvapara yuga and finally kali yuga. In each ages there are different practices of God realizzation, in Satya yuga life was very long and the meditation was the practice for God realization. In tetra yuga the life start to decrease, and the practice for God realization was great sacrifice offered to God, in dvapara yuga the life decrese more and the practice for God realization was Arcanam, worship the Deity. Now we are living in the ages of Kali where the life is very short, where the peoples are always in troubles, always disturb mentaly, so the only way for God realization is to chant the name of God, Rama, Krsna, or as you prefere in according your religion. Only by chant God's name we have the chance to be free from Samsara, birth and death. Jaya Sri Rama!
Thank you for your work first. And after traveling to many monasteries and having association with many Buddhist monks, I understand that Buddhist monks are not much in high spiritual achievements. We rarely find such extraordinary characters among Hindus. Thai monks have cultural practices, Sri Lankans have social works not much meditation. Tibetan monks might have something higher. There are many yogis among them.

Good for passing western tourists. For a serious seeker it is just superficial.

That's because you didn't go to the right place to find the right person.
A highly rudimentary vid! No depth at all....
Nice vidéo but not shanti music.
Irrational....
