Just wanted to say thank you for your TH-cam videos. I’m volunteering in Kentucky from the tornado disaster. Have my Kubota tractor but a company loaned a property owner a very large Track Hoe to help in removing hundreds of large hardwood trees. Got my first experience operating something that big and relied on a lot of what I’ve learned from you and your channel. Prior to this the biggest equipment I had operated was a skid steer and mini excavator. Thanks again.

you just start pulling on several different places. The way we do this, we put a much wider raker-bucket on the long boom, and we start pulling as far away as possible, and pull a few meters wide to the side. We scoop that out, and start again where we stopped. Pulling at random places, everything starts floating around, resulting in uneven loads. So, pull a few meters wide, remove it, and drive forward, or backward a few meters, and start again. Goes lots faster. Keep it up!

The raw, unedited ones. The other trade I find to be super spectacular is transmission line work. There are some videos going around where these guys go on an helicopter to maintain some otherwise inaccessible cables.

Maybe I don't understand everything going on here, but there's a bunch of weeds because the water is shallow. So without actually digging the canal (creek, river, whatever) deeper the weeds will grow back. My friend just had a pond enlarged and he told me based on info he read that the pond had to be at least 10 feet deep to prevent weeds from growing. This is in northern Indiana, in other states the depth may be different.

With an arm that long the hydraulic needs to exert aprox ten times the pressure of what the shovel can lift.
