The thing about Jenna is that she's both a victim and a villain. Yes, she's manipulative, mean, and the things she's done to the girls, Toby, and a fair few others - especially in this instance, regarding Caleb and Hanna - but she also lost a lot because of these very same girls. Perhaps not directly, but because they did nothing to stop Alison from throwing that firework, Jenna was blinded. Sometimes, doing nothing is worse than doing something, and with Alison dead, there's nobody for Jenna to take her revenge on except the people who effectively stole her sight. I don't care who you are. You can be the nicest person in the world. To have something like that happen to you is going to mess you up. It's going to make you illogically angry. So, that's why I feel this scene worked so well. You hate Jenna for what she's doing to everyone, but you also feel sorry for her at a primal level which you may not even be aware of. At that same level, while you cheer for Hanna, you also feel disgust at the way she handled it. It's just a perfect scene, because it plays with all these emotions and reactions on the part of the viewer, most of which is at a subconscious level.

I know hitting people doesn't solve anything, but this scene was extremely well placed and in good taste. Jenna in a sense had broke Hanna's heart by screwing with her and Caleb. This scene was not overly violent and Hanna confessed to her actions. She didn't apologize because she wasn't sorry. The part where Jenna cries is powerful, not because she is hurt because she possibly realizes for the first time how her actions are hurting others. I really wish they would all sit down and talk.

I love how this show has evolved since then, but i think this scene is a perfect example of something the writers could have kept from Season 1 into Season 3. they used to play that type of background music all the time and now i don't recall them doing it yet this season. It was perfect soap/mystery/suspense music all in one. Plus, this scene was just so simply suspenseful and amazing. Now everything is a bit more forced or complicated.

1) Neither Jenna nor Ali nor Hanna not the Liars are wrong or right. Jenna deserved a good smack in the face. Yet we still fill bad for her because she's just so ---- I can't find the words. I would've smacked her too just like Hanna. Then picked up the glasses and went sorry. Jenna was forcing her stepbrother to sleep with her. Alison blackmailed Jenna with the tapes thinking she was "A". Jenna in no way should get the tapes back, maybe her parents or Toby. It was bad the Ali blinded Jenna, accidentally I must remind you. It was down right terrible she framed Toby for the whole thing. The Liars didn't participate but they didn't stop her. Long story short everyone is wrongfully right in the wrong way. That's the easy way to explain it.
Even if Jenna did pay Caleb to spy on Hanna it's no excuse to slap Jenna. If it was anyone else Hanna wouldn't have slapped them, but she slapped Jenna because she could and knew that Jenna wouldn't have done anything back. Of course Jenna is NOT innocent and shouldn't have done some of the things she did, but doing that someone who can't fight back is wrong.
That was very convincing acting by the actress playing Jenna. Her reaction to the slap was on point.

I'm not gonna say that I didn't feel sorry for her but blinds in general are also humans they make mistakes they are not angels we can't just pity them or overlook their mistakes because they are blind, they actually don't accept and hate people who pity them!

THE best part EVER so far of this show, I forget why she did it.
1) Neither Jenna nor Ali nor Hanna not the Liars are wrong or right.
Jenna deserved a good smack in the face.
Yet we still fill bad for her because she's just so ---- I can't find the words.
I would've smacked her too just like Hanna.
Then picked up the glasses and went sorry.
Jenna was forcing her stepbrother to sleep with her.
Alison blackmailed Jenna with the tapes thinking she was "A".
Jenna in no way should get the tapes back, maybe her parents or Toby.
It was bad the Ali blinded Jenna, accidentally I must remind you.
It was down right terrible she framed Toby for the whole thing.
The Liars didn't participate but they didn't stop her.
Long story short everyone is wrongfully right in the wrong way. That's the easy way to explain it.

Even if Jenna did pay Caleb to spy on Hanna it's no excuse to slap Jenna. If it was anyone else Hanna wouldn't have slapped them, but she slapped Jenna because she could and knew that Jenna wouldn't have done anything back. Of course Jenna is NOT innocent and shouldn't have done some of the things she did, but doing that someone who can't fight back is wrong.
After what Jenna has been putting them through, she deserved it.
