2 Street Running Trains Back To Back At LaGrange Ky, 2 Photographers!

CSX Street runners! Railway tracks in the street pavement! Historic town with freight trains running down the middle of Main Street! Cars and people scamper out of the way of the long, heavy manifests daily! I filmed this on June 11, 2016 in LaGrange Kentucky. These trains ran back to back passing each other just north of downtown. There is a switch right where you can see the target signal and there is a passing track there. This CSX line is an old L&N line that runs from Louisville Ky to Covington Ky just across from Cincinnati Ohio. It is known as the LLC and The Short Line. There are about 20 trains every 24 hours on this line. You can see the new rail fan viewing platform to the right of the tracks at 00:52. Visit it now before most of the trains are rerouted off this line through Indiana. Hopefully it will still be a few years before work is done in Indiana on the reroute.
