Tornado desperately needs an RMC makeover using the extra space where Dragon was to make it bigger. Also, Outlaw was the last coaster designed by GCI founder Mike Boodley before he left CCI.
You were ALL at my home park! You reinforced that Monster and Dragon Slayer are the best coasters in Iowa! (There has been a passholder movement to get the park to RMC the Tornado!) And I'm glad you were all all confused on how to get the most spins on Dragon Slayer. My son and I go there every week during the season and ride Dragon Slayer multiple times in different seats. Sometimes we get a TON of spins and other times few to none. Adventureland isn't the biggest or best park around but when you only live 5-10 minutes away, it always gives us the coaster thrills we need. Come back next year when the Underground is back and better than ever!
Yeah, it’s time to RMC Tornado. Maybe rename it EF5? 🌪️🌪️ Outlaw should be left alone because it’s kind of oddly historic with the CCI and GCI bones it has.
From here in Altoona, I’ve been to this park more times than I can count, I even worked here in high school. Usually every off season they’ll add a new ride or change something. It was also bought out by a different company and they’ve change some things
The last time is was at Adventureland when I got back to outlaw, they were doing wood replacement on the first drop while it was running... they had a worker sitting up in the structure removing boards and adding new ones and the coaster run, one of the most interesting things I've seen that you will never see at a major park chain.
The place has really spruced up. I was there about 20 yrs ago when it was still a family owned park and it had an RV park next door where people could camp and work at the park.
As someone from Iowa I’m really glad to see someone who has been on a lot of rollercoasters have fun at Adventureland! Usually most coaster junkies just quickly say “it’s basic” but it’s quite fun
I've been to Adventureland every year since 2021 and on my most recent trip I noticed on the knight side, the right side (facing the train) is the best and Its known by most regular park goers. It kept getting claimed groups of 2 so it took my 5 rides to finally get it. Love Adventureland.
I did a huge month long coaster trip this June and Iowa was one of the states we did. This coaster was a flipping crazy machine! It was wild! My husband rode the mild side because he watched me on the extreme side and could not believe how much I flipped and how fast!
I thought it was super hilarious when they were trying to explain the differences on Dragonslayer. As far as the swings being placed in the center down Main Street, you guys might be right, it looks like it's new. I was looking on Google maps and obviously they take forever to update. So it shows an older satellite image and i don't see the swings anywhere on there. But all-around great video. Keep them coming.
As an Iowan, I went to Adventureland annually every May/June from 1997 - 2008. Haven't been back since 2008 sadly. I rode The Dragon once, just to say I did, same with The Tornado. Never again. I have always been terrified of Roller Coasters (due to the intial air rush you feel going down the first hill), but I love the Outlaw, finally faced my fears in 2004, and will ride it over and over again. The first hill being a curve helps limit the air rushing at your skull going down.
Dragon Slayer was a crazy experience. Me and my mom both thought, "how wild could wild be? It's just a free spin. The only time we stopped flipping was when we started flipping the other direction! Usually I hate spinny rides, and don't like Free Spins, but this was like ultra spin, and a free spin, but I really enjoyed it? Still can't figure it out 😂
Wow! I notice that you and your friends went on the 4D Roller Coaster that opened 2 years ago! But nice that a roller coaster and a log flume are attached together!
I never thought I would love a freespin as much as I love Dragon Slayer. I rode it 10x. My experience was a little different than yours. For the most flipping on my day, when boarding the wild side, go to the right. When boarding the mild side, go to the left. So it was facing the same direction, no matter the side. Most other freespins, I'm lucky to get 1 flip. On Dragon Slayer, I started flipping like crazy right away. Lines were so short all day on everything.
If you thought Dragon Slayer was crazy wait until you ride Arashi at Nagashima SpaLand in Japan. It is the bigger FreeSpin model but, unlike its American counterparts, it literally tries to murder you no matter where you sit.
I’ve ridden Arashi! I only got one cycle on it but I didn’t spin very much at all. No one in our group did. Maybe it was just a weird fluke or it was an off day or not every row was like that, but it felt like a normal free spin. -Taylor
I need to ride that free spin because I was very disappointed when I got off of Tumbili. I first seen it advertised when they did I think Batman at six flags over Georgia and I was so excited but last year was my first year getting on one and I was like this is a flat ride and I won't do it again but I will ride this one because it actually looks fun
The uk could do with a 4d s&s free spin, yeah there’s loads of clones in USA but one in the uk would be so unique and a great selling point for flamingo land or Oakwood for example
There are metal dampeners that are fixed into the magnets that are on each of the spoons. The further into the spin magnet, the less spinning that spoon will have. On this particular ride, one side has the dampeners set further out of the magnet, the wilder side, and the other side has it set further in, the milder side.
They need to RMC the Tornado! i can't even ride it in its current pain inducing state. But I like there comment about needing a launch coaster as well.
Don’t think they’ll touch Tornado as it’s an Iowa staple at this point. Coming up on 50 years in 2028. Could use a re-track and some paint. Lost Island may beat them to the RMC game. Could see them adding one next.
Palace Entertainment has made this Kiddieland. So many small kid rides. Not inspiring for older crowd. Not to mention it’s incredibly overpriced. Dragon Slayer mild side has less fins to induce spinning. It’s a luck of the CG of how the ride vehicle is when you hit the fins.

Can't believe lots of youtubers have been in our home town damn.
Home park. Been going since the 80's. Has changed a lot over the years, but the loss of The Dragon still stings.
The loss of Dragon isn't as painful as riding it was! :)
Agreed. That was my 1st upside down coaster. Good memories.
I swear more people should watch this I think it’s the best coaster studios vlog EVER!
i love sarah so much lmao shes my spirit animal
I love the music that plays in the queue and station for monster. Animals as leaders is one of my favorite bands

my parents did that for 10 years from about 20 yrs ago until 2019 when they came back home and sold there RV
my friends knew the old owners. sad to see them go

Tornado was built by Frontier Construction Company. One of only two roller coasters they ever built.
I did a huge month long coaster trip this June and Iowa was one of the states we did. This coaster was a flipping crazy machine! It was wild! My husband rode the mild side because he watched me on the extreme side and could not believe how much I flipped and how fast!
Whens the next eposode of coastin through europe coming out? It feels like forever since drayton manor!
Soon!

They’re new to the park!
This is my home park! Dragon Slayer is one of the best roller coasters that I’ve ever ridden.
I genuinely forgot Iowa existed
Me too😂😂
I live here and even sometimes I forget it exists🤣
What’s Iowa
OH
Don't do that... I just woke up😂😂😂

It looks nice won’t mind going there love your vids!
They have an awesome swim up bar!
Outlaw is great, but I definitely agree, whenever I ride it I can only think about how good of an RMC layout it would make...
Wow! I notice that you and your friends went on the 4D Roller Coaster that opened 2 years ago! But nice that a roller coaster and a log flume are attached together!
I worked there as a games employee great to see people like you are getting adventureland out to the world
Bro i didn't even know this park existed until now and it looks pretty nice
Brians look on his face when homie says the trim is his favorite part LOL ! :D
i’m serious tho it adds hangtime on the last 2 elements
All like all the Rollercosteres very much
That ride was unexpectedly awesome.
It also depends on where you sit.

Looks like a cool park
Honestly the water would be perfect for a mack extreme spinning coaster. It gives Plopsaland vibes.
This park has been on my to go list for so long. Shame the ownership changed hands but hope it’s all for the better!
Dragon slayer looks insane.
@15:03 "Stay to the right! Stay to the right!" #gooniesquotes 😂😂
Dragon Slayer is so redicilous, I love it😂
Where's the alton towers vlog?!?!
Coming soon!
I literally just realized it’s called Dragon Slayer because it replaced Dragon and I’m going to go sulk in a corner for not knowing that
Wow Bryant not your proudest moment

I did get airtime on Tornado in the backrow
The dinosaur in the middle of the Monster has been at the park for years
I'm deeply disappointed Viking's Flight was not instead themed to butter cows.
Where are the Europe vlogs at
In Europe probably
Coming soon!
@@CoasterStudios
Hurry! 😏🤣🤘
Peter wins the coolest hair award even after getting off a coaster!!
:)
@@peterschwab5259 I also like ur facial hair coming in. I'd say ur the best lookin dude currently on any coaster channel, for sure!!
Bro I live in clear lake Iowa but I go to valley fair in Minnesota
Y’all are using up an unnatural amount of energy on that freespin! I miss B&M girl!
You've probably been told before but disney actually took part in helping build Adventureland!
Where’s coastin thru europe next episode
Soon!
The uk could do with a 4d s&s free spin, yeah there’s loads of clones in USA but one in the uk would be so unique and a great selling point for flamingo land or Oakwood for example
when's the next coastin through europe episode ?
Soon!
I forgot that a S&S 4D free spin existed in a non SF park. Still waiting for SF to add one to SFOG in a few years
I think an ice-breaker style coaster would be perfect (with a lower height requirement of course). As long as it’s named “The Dragon”.
The seat that is facing the direction the train goes flips WAY more than the one facing backwards.
Never ever would have predicted a freespin thumbnail
Also there probably not putting a new coaster by the dragon slayer
I went on the monster it was so intense
RMC Raptor with a stall over the water?
Where's the Barbie review?? Haha. But for real that park looks great and I can't wait to go!
Would you say that the coasters are somewhat fat friendly?
Im wondering, I thought those free spins spin freely and dependent on the weight of the riders, so how does 1 side flip much more than the other?
There are metal dampeners that are fixed into the magnets that are on each of the spoons. The further into the spin magnet, the less spinning that spoon will have. On this particular ride, one side has the dampeners set further out of the magnet, the wilder side, and the other side has it set further in, the milder side.
Do you count Dragon Slayer mild ride and wild ride as 2 separate credits?
No
Sarah can be roller coaster Barbie
What do you think they need to add next to their coaster lineup??
They need to RMC the Tornado! i can't even ride it in its current pain inducing state. But I like there comment about needing a launch coaster as well.

Monster was my 888 credit
I got 7 flips on TUMBILI
That need an airtime driven coaster really badly.
Dang man . I wanna ride a 4d that actually flips lol. Maybe they added some extra lube , wd40 I dunno .
Until a 🌪️ destroys everything in 10 minutes

weird to see my cousin in this video
I went on it. I died
LOL it was in that moment he knew he screwed up when he called her fat LOL. RIP man.
You missed out by skipping the water park!
Barbie movie review!!
12:42 barbie😂
My home park Joker clone just gets about 1 full flip per ride.
Discountneyland!
HOW DARE YOU DISRESPECT TORNADO LIKE THAT
They did not copy Disney the original owners higher Disney to design it for them
For the record;
Sara is perfect!
Taylor is a lucky guy!
I really love watching all your videos.
Thanks!!!
👏❤️🔥😈🤘
Thusies tracking their coaster count is hilarious to me. Seems like a shameless bragg
ain't no way he said to a woman "you're fat"
and LIVED!!!
He didn't even try to pull that punch

They need to tear down the Outlaw.
Trash coaster.

Wait
They got rid of the Skyride?
Omg why?????
