Is it just me, but isn't it kind of stupid to have the fuel filter built into the fuel pump? It used to be that the fuel filter was somewhere in the engine compartment on the fuel line. It was easy to change in a couple of minutes, instead of having to waste a day jacking up the car, dropping the fuel tank and spending money on a new fuel pump.
excellent video, what I understand is that you have to get the whole kit to be able to change the filter since from what I see this filter does not come separately like in the other cars, right?

It’s Chrysler they do dumb stuff like this especially from that era while PT cruisers can be found cheap it’s one of the toughest cars to work on..
