I mean, I've been riding dirtbikes since I was 7
I was in the back seat of my family’s truck with my two younger sisters driving home from vacation. We spotted an oncoming semi in his lane like he should be. Nothing unusual, happens all the time. Suddenly 15 yards away a car tries to pass him not knowing we were in that lane. We ended up having to swerve right and fly into a ditch to not get hit. The car sped off knowing they almost killed us. We stopped at a gas station to take a break but then the gas station got robbed right as we left. Crazy ass night.

When I was about 8, I told my dad that the road had a beautiful rainbow color. Then, right in front of us, I saw the little red Toyota swing onto the side, started to flip, and a human (a boy about 12 years of age) fly out. I saw how his body hit the floor and his brain /something white come out and then blood. It all happened within seconds, and then our truck did the same.
This was Mexico and certain people, there, don't believe in wearing seatbelts. We used to be made fun of by our family in Mexico when we got on, and our first act was to put on the seatbelt.
The rainbow color on the road was oil a truck spilled out of negligence. When he saw more cars flipping he drive away. A local saw the truck and the driver but no plates.
That man cause 12 people to die. My family was okay, but not the truck, which can be replaced but not life.

in the south kids start riding dirt bikes at like 4. they’re fine as long as parents are paying attention. obviously sometimes bad shit happens. the worst thing i’ve heard happen to a kid under 15 was a broken elbow growth plate and loads of torn clothes

Nowadays everything seems to get people anxiety issues and ptsd
The wisdom tooth story. I just went through that about 3 weeks ago, except I was not given general anesthesia as an option, I was told if I didn’t want to do it with just the numbing stuff he would prescribe me a sedative to “calm my nerves,” I told him I have very bad anxiety to the point where I will let myself pass out if I get too anxious or see blood lol. I took the sedative pill and came in for the surgery, I was supposed to get all 4 wisdom teeth out and some cavities filled, a couple minutes in of my crying and hyperventilating they put the gas mask on me with made me go woozy and forget what was happening but did not calm my nerves, I was sent home with only my bottom two removed because I was so upset and I screamed and hyperventilated and yelled about how pissed I was they didn’t take me more seriously about my anxiety for like 6 hours after I got home. Surprised I didn’t get a dry socket considering they sent me home with 0 gauze in my mouth or extra to put in my mouth and I was freaking out and screaming so bad
