lol watching old videos to clear out my watch later and hr violation concerns for zach are pretty ironic...definitely not the one they had to be worrying about
I don’t know why Rachel was so worried. Obviously none of the 3 Try Guys would ever think it’s appropriate to even IMPLY that they were having sex with a subordinate!
Mistakingly calling your husband your fiancé on your honey moon is very understandable, if you had been engaged a long time you’d have to adjust your language, that mistake honestly made it more believable
“The implication is that you and Miles are having sex” i love how they made a joke about how the ethics and HR violations would be a very bad thing. I guess Ned didn’t watch this series.
Sarah! I was confused by who I was looking at, and then really happy when I realized that was Miles' partner there. I used to watch him stream on Twitch and she usually came in to the office to say hello. She always seemed super nice.
Everyone is talking about Miles deserves a raise while I think whoever edited this show should also get a raise!!! The video editing is so well done!!!
OH NOOOOOOOO!!! I have two girlfriends, but very few people on YT are happy for my relationship success. They disl*ke all of the videos I make with my 2 girlfriends. Please be kind, dear car
It's sad how little recognition people get. I asked my kid's school crossing guard what her name was one morning, cuz I didn't want to just call her "the crossing guard". That afternoon she stopped me and asked "did I do something wrong? Why did you need my name?" She was tearing up. In the years she'd been doing it, NO ONE HAD EVER ASKED THIS WOMAN THAT THEY SEE 2X A DAY WHAT HER NAME WAS. She thought I wanted it so I could report her for some issue and had spent the whole day worrying about it. Like my god. Workers are people!
As a front desk agent i think this is really cool and I’d love to do this for someone. We don’t have honeymoon suites at my property but I had a couple stay on the way to their honeymoon destination, so I asked in advance what kind of candy they both like and if they’re both over 21/drink and got them candy (gummy bears and some sort of chocolate I believe) along with champagne, a nice card and put rose petals on the bed, and myself and a housekeeper tried to learn how to make the towel swans. I believe we succeeded lol. It’s fun to do nice things for people
Yes! We had add on packages where I worked, yet I loved setting them up and trying to make it special…even just setting out the coffee packets in a pretty way when I checked the rooms, I always tried to make it a great experience for our guests.
As a hotel front desk employee I FELT IT when he asked, "what did I do wrong?" The fear of a complaint when a guest walks up is REAL we just want to make you guys happy and comfy but we're the face of the hotel so when something goes wrong (and it's almost always out of our control i.e housekeeping, maintenance, etc) we really do die a little inside.😢 PLEASE be nice to your hotel workers!!❤️❤️❤️
Yes! That was my second job ever when i was alot younger and my second day while still learning the owner left me alone for hours and the first person i checked in went off bc i gave them the room written done and marked as theirs..they didnt want that room and of course didnt know what to do and i couldnt get the card machine to work..i lost it in the bathroom later that day bc i felt like such a failure..
The production value on this season of candid competition - the skits - the music - the backstory - truly one of my favorite seasons of anything with the try guys
Zach: You're the guy I'm looking for Hotel Staff: Oh, what did I do wrong? he was so sweet and genuine, makes me so happy you guys went back to tell him how nice he was, seems like it made his day 😭
Anyone else feel genuinely sad that the Holiday Inn guy's first response to Zach showing up with his winning cash was "What did I do wrong?" Cause that took me out of the moment so hard, I felt so bad. Be nice to customer service workers, people.
4 years working at a fancy hotel and that would definitely by my first response too. No one ever really comes to find you when you’ve done something well, but the other one we get ALL the time 😂
As someone who has worked front desk in a hotel for way too long can I just say how much I appreciate how kind and respectful everyone involved in candid competition was to the staff?? (Pro tip: if you want free stuff, especially at high end hotels, be nice to the staff!! Works way better than complaining until they give you something)
The receptionist at the Hilton being like, "What'd I do wrong?" was so sad. Dude, you're amazing, own up to it. Never stop being awesome. Congratulations on your win!
*Holiday Inn 😅 Though you’d be correct in thinking it was the Hilton because it checked off everything except “tub for two” on the list they were looking for. I guess front desk customer service aces everything
I’ve seen staff being treated horribly at hotels, and it seems to get worse the more expensive the hotel is - please treat hotel staff nicely and respectfully (even if you need to complain about something, that can be done politely too)! And let them know when they have done a great job :)
You know the guy at the front desk has been yelled at before by customers when his first reaction was, "what did I do wrong" after Zach said he was looking for him. Hope his day was made afterwards! 😊
“First time in LA” probably isn’t the greatest cover story considering every hotel I’ve ever been to needs to see ID and I’m sure their ID’s are both local 😂 they tried 👏🏻
Love the Sara and Maggie cameo. It was bound to happen this season. I also don't know how, but somehow this was the least awkward episode, which I appreciated.
Something about the way Miles said “What are you doing here Zack?” was so freaking perfect. Equal parts terrible acting and great acting. Terrible because I’ve seen the same line said the same way in so many cheesy romcoms but the way he did it was so spot on…Bravo!
Miles AKA a virgo telling a story: **is beautifully setting the scene, includes the backstory, explains the connections between people, wants to make sure everyone understands the situation** Zach AKA a leo: “GEt tO tHe PoInT” 😂😂😂😂😂
I hope Candid Competition gets a third (fourth?) season. No ragging on Keith and Ned, but this has been the best offering from the Try Guys in months. Mr. and Mr. Kornsignore were superb in this: the acting, directing, cinematography, etc., were on-point. And I was this many years old (holds up 60 fingers) when I heard that Miles' surname does not have a U in it. We honeymooned at a Holiday Inn 27 years ago. It was June in Florida and of course it rained cats and dogs in the afternoon; but after it was over, there was a lovely-lovely swimming pool surrounded by lush tropical greens and rock formations that made us feel like we'd gone to the islands. The hotel has changed hands several times since then, but I wonder if that pool is still there; maybe we'll go for our 30th anniversary in a few years.
Zach: so it looks like Ramada has no room service or honey moon package. Let's hit up the vending machine. Also Zach: oh you guys just do regular room service? Looks like Marriott is eliminated.
Zach: "We're Undercover!" Wears the most conspicuous of disguises. Checks in under their real name. At this point, I'm starting to think CC is about Zach trying to see how recognizable he is to the public.

Honestly i felt how happy the reception at holiday inn? was when he received the compliment. Receiving a compliment is kinda rare and i remember every compliment i received🥺
I LOVE this style of editing! The scripted scenes at the beginning/end are gold. The energy between Miles and Zach is a whole vibe. We need more videos like this!
ISTG Zach and Miles have one of the funniest/weirdest dynamics, I love watching them do videos together. It pretty much makes up for the neck pain from cringing so hard
Fun story: once my family went to Thailand, and when we went into our hotel room, the entire room was romantic, the bed had rose petals, the entire bathtub had rose petals. The hotel crew got our room mixed up with the couple who was staying next door. They were super apologetic but to me it was fun getting to collect the rose petals. Anyways 9 year old me will judge that all these hotels do not compare to that honeymoon suite.
I love all the try guys but I honestly think Zach may be the most on-brand with my sense of humor. This is the first video I've watched in like a week that made me ugly laugh basically the whole time
Wait- which type of Marriott did you try?! They have tons of different types of Marriotts depending on what you wanna do The Courtyard Marriott I worked at did an adorable lil honey moon package
i like how rachel went from “please don’t get people fired” to “please don’t cause an hr violation against miles”
I truly hope Miles is getting a raise for this lol
Since Zach is a part owner and has the power the HR violation would be against him.

Miles' acting in this was genuinely phenomenal... somebody give this man a movie role
His acting in the final scene is actually so good
miles deserves a raise from this series alone
Probably not appropriate to offer a raise given the subject 😂
I LOVE this style of editing! The scripted scenes at the beginning/end are gold. The energy between Miles and Zach is a whole vibe.
We need more videos like this!
The universe is expanding
@Go To My Playlist ( Not Rickroll) no
ISTG Zach and Miles have one of the funniest/weirdest dynamics, I love watching them do videos together. It pretty much makes up for the neck pain from cringing so hard
THE ELEVATOR PART WAS SO FUNNY WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT IT
I love hearing miles long stories I felt so bad when Zach was like “get to the point” lol didn’t get to hear the rest
I think the joke is that it's used on Zach so much on the Try Pod...
Zach's dramatic flair that's been added to the show at the beginning and end make candid competition so addicting to watch. Need MORE
can someone edit all the skits together? that would be a whole thing in itself
That is fun and sweet 😁
I love all the try guys but I honestly think Zach may be the most on-brand with my sense of humor. This is the first video I've watched in like a week that made me ugly laugh basically the whole time
Wait- which type of Marriott did you try?! They have tons of different types of Marriotts depending on what you wanna do
The Courtyard Marriott I worked at did an adorable lil honey moon package
There is SOOOO much for the try guys HR department to unpack here with the mirror scene alone in hotel 2
I was listening to this getting read for work when this came out and I LITERALLY MISSED THIS? I can’t even… jeeeeeeeeeez
