I want to add that my Sweetwater Sales Engineer has noticed that the big, Behringer Go cases (240hp) usually need a CP-1A in addition to the supplied power when filled with smaller modules (as opposed to racked semi-modulars).

It's all down to the combined power requirements of your choice of modules of course. You can easily need more power than what is provided by your chosen powered-case if you choose a lot of small modules (each adding up to 'a lot' of power consumption), or, if you choose a small quantity of larger 'HP' power-hungry modules, valve-based modules, gain/drive modules. Or you can play the puzzle game, trying to stay below the max built-in power specs juggling modules types, HPs, power :) ... Hours of planning fun (or not (: )

Hi!, I really want the Behringer Brains module so I thought I would use my Behringer Crave as C/V interface, and use a powersupply for it. The cheapest I've found is this one, so I am wondering if its good enough for just powering a Behringer Brains? :D I guess it would, but so many people speak badly of Behringer for different reasons, that its hard to know that they speak from facts, or just cause of hate towards the brand.

I bought and used/use a few Behringer CP1A PSUs for small mobile racks and never had any problems with them

Thanks for your efforts on this. Recently picked up a CP1A to 'assist' with the powering of an overloaded Doepfer LC9 (PSU2) works well

Thank you. Yes, I can see your use case being a popular option. At times one does not need a bigger case, but some specific new (or old) module needs a bit more power, just add power instead of getting a bigger case. Nice one.

I would be interesting to see (or hear) if (if possible) changing the flying bus cables to 'better' ones would eliminate the cross talk. I would also like to know if these power supplies are send out 'clean' power. Thanks!

I'm using these for 2 rows of 84HP per PSU.. so far no issues. Would be nice to see ripple/noise and what not compared to other PSUs

yes that's what I wanted to do with my main oscilloscope, will do on the different types of PSUs I have in the next PSU test video.
