I have a draahtharr and he has pointed toads and possibly a turtle on multiple occasions especially when he was younger
Ive been beating around the sandhills looking for grpuse and prairie chicken. I do not have a dog. It is...frustrating lol
I went to the Sandhills in 2021 and got my butt kicked. My dog pointed a million box turtles, but I came home empty handed (no sharptails). Ugh.
Any tips on how to hunt public land in NE? I am trying to plan a trip from AL. I have 2 shorthairs that I am planning on bringing.

Like the location and the dog work. Too much talking and you should be using a double gun. Everything else gets a like.
