In my experience, when big companies buyout boutique brands in their market space, the quality drops more than the price. It's often a passion project for the original owners and the simple acquisition of market share and specialty branding for the later ones. I'll be interested to see how this goes.
I think it's already starting to become accepted in terms of looks. A good amount of high school players in the Seattle area are rockin this helmet. Honestly - it's starting to become an intimidating helmet because it's usually the athletes going on to the next level who are wearing this
I bought a zero2 XL unfortunately my temple pressure was insanely high while wearing it even I moved all form liners and used thinnest DLTA pods, I literally had headache. Compared to that, speedflex and speed is way much more comfortable. Not sure if my head form matters since I am Asian, all my Asian friends who wear helmets produced from schutt have the same problem with temple pressure...F7 is even more seriously painful lol....
@@Footballrs I don’t think it works well. My friend who has the same head circumference as mine bought a L trench, I tried it on and my temple was super uncomfortable, that’s why I got XL. 😂😢
@@ruoxushen6656 idk how to describe it but where you feel the pressure there is a delta pods on each side, beneath those there is a small removable adjustment. Take it off and you should stop feeling the pressure
I’ll never forget when I got a old school Riddell fitted helmet in the early 90’s, After using a 10yr old helmet with hard foam that only fit when your chinstrap was extremely tight
I remember having one of those Riddell that didn’t inflate and then I got a revolution and stopped getting headaches after practice. I wonder if a non inflatable helmet may be a good one though.
I wore the Vicis 01 last year. It was super ugly, but it was super safe. It was really comfy when you put it on but after it pinched my head and got super uncomfortable. so i do not know if it is the same.
Vicis has a new OL/DL low profile that is tooled for lineman, but will not have the additional trench piece. It will look exactly like the standard zero 2
This video is perfect! I always wondered why Nick bosa and George Kittle wear these , Once you know what goes in these helmets and that it's safety first. I'd like to see more football players wear these. these. Forget how it looks
@@Mario-fv7nh you should get a speed flex. It is a more reliable helmet to get fixed or replaced. Also vicis is a new company so they might have flaws. Also speed-flexes are cheaper and I use one right now and I like it.
I’m a linebacker and have one. Get made fun of all the time but it feels great. I’m thinking abt taking the attachment off and ordering a regular facemask mount to make it a regular vicis. If I were you I’d get the regular version.
It’s such a double edged sword though. The safer you make helmets, the more guys are gonna become less concerned about getting their bells rung, causing more head/ neck injuries.

Wow that’s crazy
I guess size up?

Asian here with a size L speedflex which I bought based on tape measures and I feel it to be too big.
I guess I’m one of the few that actually like the design of the helmet
Yeah, I honestly love the design
Yea it looks a little bit like a audi look
I’ll never forget when I got a old school Riddell fitted helmet in the early 90’s, After using a 10yr old helmet with hard foam that only fit when your chinstrap was extremely tight
Ahhh the ol revolution... Was the top dog for a long time.
Ope I was wrong. Revo was '02
I bought one and I'm only in high school football it works amazing and yeah I get master cheif jokes but it's totally worth it
I have one and I get master chief power ranger bumble bee transformer all of it and I just laugh
They are really expensive tho that’s the only reason idk If I want to purchase just in case I don’t like it
Did you buy it or did your parents buy it?
rich ass
I feel like that's a feature honestly, all those guys are badass
If I was playing I would 100% wear this helmet. I actually love the way it looks and the safety aspect makes it a no brainer
Do you recommend a speedlex or a trench for d ends and do you recommend any shoulder pads for someone with a smaller neck?
Both are good, I play DT and I've used both. Overall Trench is better
I play d end and i just bought the tench fits really good and is super comfortable but it is slightly heavier than the speedflex
I remember having one of those Riddell that didn’t inflate and then I got a revolution and stopped getting headaches after practice. I wonder if a non inflatable helmet may be a good one though.
I dub thee “The HammerHead” helmet

Do you know when the new adizero colored cleats drop? I’m trying to get them.
Nah sorry we don’t
Asked my EQ manager for one while getting fitted in the spring. Hopefully i still get it 🙏🏽

this helmet set up is honestly clean, throw a visor on and you’re good. any other facemask doesn’t really help it look as inticing .
I got one and I’m in 7th grade but I just ordered it so I’ll se how good it is
This video is perfect! I always wondered why Nick bosa and George Kittle wear these , Once you know what goes in these helmets and that it's safety first. I'd like to see more football players wear these.
these. Forget how it looks
Can you make a video on how you put the visor on this thing?
Pretty sure we made a video about what visors fit a Vicis
I did see that but I'm having difficulty getting it in the Zero 2 trench specifically
The Schutt F7 UR1 will be available to the public in spring and I’d estimate it to be slightly over 1,000
When will the F7 VTD review come out?
2 weeks hopefully
Workin on jt
@@Footballrs 👍keep up the great content
Does a Shoc visor zero G fit this?
Can you put a cam lock on it
What’s the best site to buy a Vicis 02 from Canada?
Check sportsunlimited
I’m going to buy a vicis zero 2 for my son. He wore a med speed flex but measures 23.25. Should I buy a Large or XL? Any insight?
I where a adult large speedflex and a large fit fine for me
What do you recommend speed flex or vicis because I was going to buy a speed flex but I don't know now ?
I am 13 years old and I am a dline and o line
@@Mario-fv7nh you should get a speed flex. It is a more reliable helmet to get fixed or replaced. Also vicis is a new company so they might have flaws. Also speed-flexes are cheaper and I use one right now and I like it.
Everything he said is pretty valid right now
IMO both are good, but Trench is better at higher levels (bigger impacts)
My high school gives these to the lineman 10/10 love it
wait so the trench vicis is just the vicis zero 2 with the extra pad?
what visor can work on the trench with the trench face mask that was in the ad
Shoc 2.0 or Oakley edge
Which version of the Vicis 02 would you recommend for a fullback the trench or the standard model?
Trench
Vicis trench elite is recomended for linebackers?
.

Should I size up if I’m a large but close to an xl?? Also should I go with a trench or a zero2 I’m a DE
If you already wear a large stay large and use the thinner pads. Trench
Still looks better than the Axiom
U buggin
I've played with Schutt F7, Speedflex and Vicis O2 Trench. Trench is the best helmet I've played with and Schutt F7 is by far the worst
Vicis 02 Trench > Vicis 02 > Speedflex > No helmet > Schutt F7
Rooough ranking 😂
Could it be used for Running backs too
Yes
Do Patrick mohems please
How do I buy that Vicis chin strap
Comes with the helmet
@@Footballrs mine came with a sports star instead why?
I actually really love the 02 trench
What's the safest helmet for kids 7U-8U
Helmet is ugly but I love the face mask at 6:50. And honestly if these things can make players safer I’m all for it.
So I didn’t get the point, if I buy a Zero 2 facemask and put it back on a trench without that big ass forehead, and it’s going to work ?
No the big forhead part is necessary
I truly believe these helmets should be the only helmet allowed to be played in.
Love this helmet but it’s literally $1,000
IMO this is more expensive than Riddell speedflex and Schutt VTD so price wont come down
I mean i got mine for around 700 which isn’t bad compared to 899+
It’s such a double edged sword though. The safer you make helmets, the more guys are gonna become less concerned about getting their bells rung, causing more head/ neck injuries.
I think of Starship Troopers.
So you can’t play QB with this helmet? I would if I was playing…I’m down for the master chief/power ranger jokes, that’s why I love it lol
Day 4 of asking for a what does “ Jonathan Taylor wear on the field.”
i wish all pros would switch to vicis. they're killing the game in safety and i want all of the players to be safe
Fr they are super comfortable too
This helmet is fire
0:17 - 0:18 it’s Family Guy vomiting 🤮🤣
Hey
Hi
Awsome!
Hi
Hello
Looks more likea motorcycle helmet.
More like Lacrosse Helmets.
But they don't make it for kids
it’s got a hefty ass price tag 😭
I’d rather have a brain than to look cool
Just change your facemask and it looks nice
It looks like a Power Rangers helmet.
That thing better be the safest helmet because it’s truly fucking hideous haha
I hate vicis helmets they look like tumors
