This is exactly why Eastern European/ south East Asian countries should not be allowed to use their liscense here. There is NO regulations or road safety enforced there. They must do at least 10 lessons here and get a certificate proving they’re safe to drive here temporally, by an instructor.

The last two videos have me concerned that it is even a thing as while yeah, this guy has the general basics of driving down, he clearly has no clue about the road rules and him being on the road is a danger.
Or at the very least, have countries that are exempt from the one year thing as clearly you can get a licence easier in some places.

I’m surprised the UK isn’t the same as Ireland because here in Ireland we have to complete the theory test first. Once it is passed you can apply for your provisional licence/learner permit. Once you get it you have to complete 12 lessons with an approved driving instructor covering all areas when driving. After these you can apply for your test. I find it crazy that people can do their driving test and pass without lessons with a driving instructor in the UK and this mock tests explains why doing lessons with them is so important.

Much harder mock tests than I've seen many others do on your channel - a lot more hazards. A few lessons with instructor, in similar areas, will do him good, but with instant feedback as it happens so he learns what is considered "too close". He's got good control and he does drive like he's driven for a long time (and also in turn get a bit over-confident, too close for comfort). I also understand why he misunderstood your instruction on emergency stop, if you haven't had formal training and never heard the term before - hearing the explanation to "stop safely" can surely be misleading :D much better to say what you said the second time.

I have some sympathy for the student at the dual carriageway junction, where he got stuck behind the black Mercedes van that turned right. As far as I could see, the van did not signal at any point before entering the junction, instead it just stopped in the middle of the box junction. Whilst I accept your point about taking the left lane to avoid getting caught behind right-turning vehicles, in that situation, the lack of use of indication by British drivers in general is a major problem. Indeed in many countries drivers can be fined for such carelessness. Of course the student should have just waited for the incompetent van driver to clear the junction, but mind-reading is increasingly required when driving, and especially in heavy traffic in urban areas like Chiswick.

Yes, modern brake fluid canisters have a proper transparent window, but older cars and motorcycles still have that yellow plastic one that you have to reeeeeaaaally stare at to see where the fluid is at. Well, they're white at first but with time become yellow and, as I have recently learned, CRUMBLE! I rubbed a piece of stuff off to see the fluid better and the thing itself crumbled off. I guess it's the same plastic that grocery bags are made of, that breaks apart in the sun (motorcycle so that thing is out and about, getting fried). I'm shooketh 😱

20:24 if you see chevrons painted on the road it means that you’re in a one-way direction of flow part of the road and vehicles will be passing on both sides of the chevron markings going in the same direction, as they’re bordered by a broken white line as per rule 130 of the Highway Code, you shouldn’t enter the area unless it’s necessary and safe to do so, if there was a solid white line you must only enter the area in an emergency, no matter which side of the chevron markings you’re on, the line closest to you always points in the direction of the traffic flow and the line is telling you to keep to your side as there could be vehicles next to you, so, if you imagine you’re in lane 1, the line closest to you is going from bottom right to top left in the direction of travel telling you to keep to the left as there could be cars next to you in lane 2, if you imagine you’re in lane 2, the line closest to you is going from bottom left to top right in the direction of travel telling you to keep to the right as there could be cars next to you in lane 1, if you see hatched markings painted on the road it means you’re in a two-way direction of flow part of the road and vehicles will be passing on both sides of the hatched markings going in the same direction, no matter which side of the hatched markings you’re on, the line always goes from bottom right to top left in the direction of travel telling you to keep to the left as there could be cars next to you in lane 2, rule 130 of the Highway Code applies to both chevron markings and hatched markings; if the lines are broken you should not enter the area unless it’s safe and necessary to do so, if the line is solid then you must not enter the area except for in an emergency, there is however one exception, the only time you can legally cross a solid white line to enter hatched markings is on a single carriageway at the end of an overtaking lane where 2 lanes reduce to 1, you’re permitted in this situation to cross the solid white line to enter the hatched area for any of the reasons mentioned for double white lines, which are, as per rule 129 of the Highway Code, to enter adjoining premises or a side road, to pass a stationary vehicle blocking the lane, to overtake a pedal cycle, horse or road maintenance vehicle travelling at 10mph or less.

It states in the Highway Code, Annex 4 - The road user and the law, The definition of a road in England and Wales is ‘any highway and any other road to which the public has access and includes bridges over which a road passes, It is important to note that references to ‘road’ therefore generally include footpaths, bridleways and cycle tracks, and many roadways and driveways on private land (including many car parks). In most cases, the law will apply to them and there may be additional rules for particular paths or ways.

15:21 it’s strange how there are hatched markings with solid white lines near to the parking spaces but as it’s in a private car park on private land then rule 130 of the Highway Code wouldn’t apply in car parks, where I live, in the supermarkets with disabled and parent and toddler bays they don’t have hatched markings with solid white lines, they have white crosses with solid white lines.

18:34 even though the right hand lane also goes straight and he’s overtaking the cars in lane 1 I’d go straight ahead using lane 1 as it’s not good like in the video to get stuck behind a vehicle that is turning right.

    Couple of observations.
The UK seems to have got really bad with what here in Canada they call 'J walking'. Here, police see you cross the road and you are not in a dedicated pedestrian crossing, you will get a big fine.
@14:45, are you not supposed to stop for pedestrians now that are going to step across in front of you, buy are technically still on the sidewalk?

This is considered good driving in Pakistan. There are no laws here, so you're pretty much on your own when you're out on the roads, just like in India. There are no rules.
Also, boys start driving by the age of 9 and are out on the roads by age 11. Getting a driver's license is easy; all you need to do is reverse in a figure-8 shape.
This video proves how dangerously south asians drive and should never be handed international licenses.

10:09, bikes are so bloody dangerous on the roads. What kind of pea-brain would ever think that bikes on a road was a good idea? The rule: you should not force another driver to slow down, it's dangerous is a serious fault, but a bike, by default will slow you down, force you to look around more, and potentially fall off into the road. What ever happened to rational thought?

Guys, I’m so confused. I just passed last week so sorry if this is a stupid question. There’s this road near me where there’s clear signs saying it’s “20mph” speed limit, in red circles on lampposts and when the road begins. However, when I go 20, people honk and overtake and none of the oncoming traffic seem to be going that slow either. How do I know if the 20 is advisory or compulsory?

Even ME also fallow where No one care about Rules but ME FALLOW because of SHE😍( BEAUTIFULLY EXPLAINED ) the importance of TRAFFIC RULES. At the age of 11 He started Driving which was a "SERIOUS DANGEROUS ISSUE and also CRIME " and this happing some Parts INDIA because of BLINDLY Loving their KIDS by PARENTS. That emergency stop is by far the worst and most confusing thought process I've ever seen...🧐

i do wonder where Aman find these for mock tests 😅
Taimoor hasn’t driven in uk and they drive in a YT mock test.
If you’re new to watching this; i highly recommend watching another video on clear view channel of a uk driving test mock test to see what is required to pass.
5:21 good for theory test and hazard perception test this.
Good Luck to him on UK theory test.
They definitely word the questions on this differently which those whose first language isn’t English can find this tricky i feel.
12:40 at a junction where DVSA and DVLA say learners fail the most.
If you can’t see, stop and do correct junction observations.😮
    Move when this is clear.
Why did they f ing fail me last July?
    i better pass in September..
i prefer not to speak, if i speak i will be in big trouble.😊
22:16 why did he ask this?😂
He has plenty to learn to be a safe uk driver.
i agree with Srinivas Rasmalla comment below.
