"Wonderful Tonight" is a ballad written by Eric Clapton. It was included on Clapton's 1977 album Slowhand. Clapton wrote the song about Pattie Boyd. The female vocal harmonies on the song are provided by Marcella Detroit (then Marcy Levy) and Yvonne Elliman.

There's so much attention to detail. Towards the end he picks double stops twice to mimic an electronic echo effect, followed by a fading fast arpeggio to continue the echo. Mind boggling talent.

Beautiful song played by a true master who puts true feeling that can be actually felt and appreciated by the listener, transferred by the musician thru the instrument seemingly effortlessly but obviously something that has taken years to develop. Good Lord what a fabulous player..The guitar seems to be an extension of his fingers. He is the guitar, and the guitar is him, working together in the most harmonious and soulful way..he knows how to play this instrument in most complete way i've ever seen..He knows all different stlyles of playing, i'm not an expert but i can pick Flamengo, Classical, rithm & blues, finger picking, rasckiado, tremolo, Strumming, he can play the accompaning and the melody at the same time, (very difficult to do) in short this man can do everything with a guitar..I think he sleeps with it, and dreams of it, because he and his guitar is one thing together.

"Wonderful tonight" is a beautiful song, but you made it even better. For example from 3:50. I never thought you could play it like that. And with so much soul. For me, this version expresses the core of the song even better and deeper than the best versions of Clapton. I don't understand that apparently no other world-class guitarist (such as Clapton himself) ever said anything. Doesn't he know that there is a guitarist in Tenerife who can play his songs like this? I only came across you after watching a few videos by Hijab hard rocker Mel and TH-cam then recommending you. I could have completely overlooked you. It's crazy.
