Okay i am going to lose my mind if somone calls this a riff again its a LICK not a riff, a riff is the guitar thats played of the whole song a LICK is a small part like this
@robinmist a Florida Power and Light worker nabbed it when a 1981 unit was replaced in 2010, and it went through a couple hands before I bought it for 500 bucks.
i got a lotta questions bruh how did you get your hands on a nuclear siren? you can just plug an amp into a nuclear siren? how loud is it at full power?
1. Pure luck, someone listed a 1981 unit from the Saint Lucie NPP for 500 bucks on ebay for local pickup, I happen to live in Saint Lucie so it was a quick and easy pickup 2. I hooked up one of the speaker drivers by using the headphone jack on a cheap 20 watt amp 3. 124db at 100ft (with 16 100 watt drivers running at 80 watts each)
If you want something for video, get a Sony Handycam CX240, they're great for people who are getting into recording videos, and a decent overall camera. 1080p60 video and great audio, plus optical zoom (meaning you can zoom in without losing video quality)
5th note was a bit flat, but so would my house be if that siren was going off. Awesome!
perfect use of a siren
