Hey Dollar, you should try doing HE only in the 279. Most vehicles you face can be hull broken and those that cannot are easy to splash with the huge amount of explosive.
The Object 279s APHE is broken, so it is basically solid shot and does no damage since it does not have the shrapnel
Did they take away the HE part of the APHE shell? I don’t think I saw it explode once in the vid

11:36, going through track and inside conq2, doesn't set the fuse, something is really not ok
@@MrDanie13 Gaijin fucked up the fuse sensitivity, the shell has now the sensitivity of a naval shell, so you're basically shooting a big rock, unless the shell hits the engine block, transmission AND cannon breech. Not any of those, but all of those.
Also, on the stat card there's nothing changed as far as I know.

There were no IS7 in my childhood but T-72 and BMPs. They bumping through our small village to get to the next manouver to keep the freedom in the world and eastern germany. Sometimes they strafed a car or the neighboors fence. As a little boy that was awesome for me. Maybe thats the reason why i like all the russian tanks in the game.

The entire Video, the freakin shell did never detonate, not even when shooting a Conqueror. Somebody at Gaijin has seriously fucked up the Trigger properties of that Grenade. *cough* Volumetric shell update *cough*
This is actually bug reported
It has nothing to do with fucking volumetric shells, they messed it up recently when they were messing with ship shells.

if there's a bug with purchasing or premium vehicles or if there's a sound bug they go right after that but a shell bug making it so certain vehicles have tough getting kills....nah just sit back and relax comrades it'll fix it self!

If I may give a little tip to Dollar and players in general, I recommend using the alt-key to mark targets directly on the minimap. Holding alt makes your cursor appear in-game. You can then simply click on the minimap itself and it will mark that spot. I find this to be a much faster and safer way to mark targets.
As another tip, you can use the alt-key and the cursor in-game to see the stats of your ammo. Just hover the cursor over your shell at the bottom of the screen.

That's understandable. At least you actually mark the map for teammates. I do it every game but rarely have teammates do the same. I wish more people marked the map (and just paid attention to the minimap in general). Keep up the good work!
I've heard that gaijin messed up with Obj 279 gun since it was from a naval gun, the fuse (?) was triggered in more than 2 m. Therefore when you shot tanks from the side, it didn't do any/little damage

I guess you could say that this video is completely BIASed.
They apparently broke the Object 279's shell when reworking naval APHE recently, so it doesn't go kapew inside tanks anymore.
Which is precisely why you couldn't oneshot things anymore.

This map with the obj 279 is just the best thing ever. I remember first ever game I played in the 279 was on this map in a full uptier. I dropped 17 kills and end the game swiftly with a nuke. My pp has never been harder
