      Hey there Martin, how are you doing? Apologies for the late reply, slowly but surely working my way through all the comments. This video took me 2 weeks to make working on it most evenings, was a nightmare aligning the voiceover with all the clips haha. But I was really happy with how it turned out. Its always quality over quantity for me :) Thanks as always for tuning in and will catch up with you soon

    Well done on showing what can be done on finds.I have that many pre decimal coins in poor condition all I do is barrel them and will weigh them in for scrap.The treatment looks ideal for artefacts especially the buckles.

    • @TheDukesOfDerbyshire
      @TheDukesOfDerbyshire  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Dave, wow you barell clean coins then get rid of them as scrap? I've got every coin I've ever found. Luckily I have a big garage with lots of space for all the tubs of finds. Should really consider getting rid, but I put so much hard graft into finding them, I feel having them melted is not quite right. Thanks as always for tuning in and watching this product review. Dave, I've got 2 dream videos coming up, in my last 2 hunts I have found early milled silver and early milled GOLD !!!

    I use b72 on all my artifacts and coins. Prefer to make it fresh each time as it evaporates so fast and becomes more concentrated over time, making artifacts too shiny. I also use coloured b72 sometimes to darken an object.

    That looks good Gareth and nicely reviewed. If u put it in any of your prize artefacts I’d love to see that. Really liked the effect on the buckles. So much cutting and chopping and trying to get a 14 minute voice-over to match up with all the chopped clips was a nightmare haha. Hello thanks for taking the time to watch this product presentation of mine. Yes, so for modern silver coins (post 1800), I soak over night in lemon juice. The next day I remove from the lemon juice and use cotton budy to wipe away any surface material on the coin. This works every time for me. Note, this does not remove the grey tone (oxidisation).
