When I played on ps4 and found out how to do all this it was a miracle, but now since I play on a platform that allows mods(mods with more than just vanilla assets: so Xbox or pc) I just can’t use it that way anymore, it’s easier for me to use place anywhere; which that still pokes at my patience.
@@marbleherogaming735 I've got untreated ADHD bro you've just gotta manage between when your getting fed up go do something else for a while complete a couple of quests then go back to it with fresh eyes and a new mindset and you'll get it
Yup, its one of my favourite sites (topped only by Daltons, Longfellows, and Kingsport). It's a challenge to make it secure and homely but I turned into a wayside inn for provisioners from Far Harbour because they all go past here!
In my opinion, it was the worst designed place by developers that I had to install a modification that would fill the hole and remove the ruined building. But you did a good job of fixing it
Fallout 4: I came for the guns, the armor, and the fun. Then I found myself spending hours building settlements and buildings. It's especially fun to make buildings that should be structurally unsound. Thank you for the video!
What a creative use for those ball tracks. And the way you fixed the house is genius. I never personally built here because it's such a pain to make anything look good, and you made it look easy. Bravo! I can't wait to see the next settlement.
This work on these settlements, in your performance is an art form, I like it very much, I use your advice myself, which makes my adventure with Fallout 4 even more enjoyable, thank you and best regards
Oh my goodness, this is insanely creative work, well done! One of by biggest pet peeves of a settlements and I'm fairly sure that it's same for many others too :D Thank you so much for this, it really helps a lot to build here and I really like how you visualize the build and give us the blueprint to make our own!
I’ve been building on fallout 4 for YEARS & I’ve never seen anything as impressive as that ball track roof! Such an insane & stunning look! The roofs have always been a pain because Bethesda never gave us anything pitched at the right angle to properly fix them but now…? Oh I’m doing this 💜💜💜💜
I absolutely love your building style. A lot of builders forget that the setting is post-apocalyptic, and as such there’s gonna be limited resources available.
Milling wood isnt hard. Either is smelting. Id be able to build a decent house with the materials available. These people can build robots and auto turrets. Regular construction and clean building shouldnt be an issue.
Bloody hell. That was legend mate. Well done. I've never seen anyone take this location and do it so well, myself included. I'm stealing all of that. Thank you very much.
I recently got back into the game after many years, struggled with imagination when building back up settlements after so long. Even purchased all dlc so I can expand and even add mods if need be. Long story short; I'm glad there are people like you taking advantage of the potential of rebuilding 😅 I will never come close to this level of redesign but I'm always eager to watch and appreciate it!!
Using balltrack pieces to fashion a replacement roof is inspired! That is genuinely the cleverest idea to fix sloped rooves that I have yet seen. I'm not convinced I have the patience to pull it off myself. But the idea is pure genius! I also like your really clear commentary describing what you're doing and why. New sub and I will definitely be sticking around for more!
Heck yeah man the settlement looks awesome and I love the way that bunker turned out. I rlly like your builds bc I feel like you keep them relatively simple and then fill them with detail whereas I see other people building towns of settlements and you can’t even tell what settlement it is after they’re finished
Nice you also thought about it! I have done this myself years ago but I love that you found that option too. I love that Fallout 4 has this revival and it's nice to see people think out side the box. I have gone to big length to fix houses in FO4 too. Great work I really like it.
I already knew you could do this in the base game, but man, you have really opened my mind about fixing the existing settlements and now I want to try something like this on my current game. Way better than just downloading a mod to do it for me tbh.
I love this one! Man, you are so good at these custom Fallout 4 builds, please keep em up! I have fun tryin to replicate your builds in my own little world where i have the same lame structure at every settlement lol just throwin up some concrete walls 3 stories high with a bunch of missile launchers
This is superb!! Thank you for the new ideas! This settlement was one if not the most difficult to rebuild/improve! I am playing and replaying Fallout 4 since early 2022, and after other games, I come back to this. Unbelievable what they managed to create, how much is in the game to explore, and the settlement building is absolute highlight what brings me back every time. I was also in love with Far Cry 5&New Dawn and Primal, as well as Dying Light 1&2. That's it, other games OK here and there, but nothing stays in my heart as Fallout 4. The atmosphere, the music, the characters, the opportunities, and SETTLEMENTS.
God DAMN this is some Phenomenally creative building! I just started building here, and my build has NOTHING on this, and I'm using mods... Awesome work, dude!
Love the pilar trick. That is going to help a lot if it works on the PS5. I mostly ignored this place because your stuck with so much that can't be deleted.
I’m pretty new to Fallout 4, it’s crazy watching how you manipulate the building mechanics like that. Since you’ve started doing other settlements after your sanctuary series, it would be cool to see you try fixing up the ruined house at Tenpines Bluff, since it’s an absolute eyesore on an otherwise quaint little farm.
The universe has got to have it out for me with the timing of this upload. Just a few days ago I was getting around to coastal cottage and having a nightmare of a time trying to fix the ruined house, I came straight to your channel and was DESTROYED when I couldn't find anything. So I knuckled down and did as best as I could... I finished YESTERDAY. And now you've uploaded this and I am ASHAMED of the piss-take I put together for my coastal cottage build ;-; definitely gonna scrap it all down and go with something closer to your design.
@@Shawzzo This site usually gets 20 wall to wall bedrolls under cover in the house and garage from me. A manual water pump near one of the builds and two electric Water Pumps outside the North wall of the Garage. And about 20 turrets scattered where I deem them to be most effective.
Man after building in fallout 76 for a while now, I kind of forgot how much freedom 4 gives you with building. For example in 76 you can't srap bottom items. You have to come up with the most convoluted way to make the simplest things. Great job!
I'm amazed at how well you manage to fix this up and decorate it, place looks lived in. The tricks you have to place walls inside of existing ones, the door mat one..damn i thought i knew this game xD

Superior construction techniques used! The mat and pole techniques were completely new for me, and oh so very, very useful. I had actually built Coastal Cottage into a minivault, but now it also has a pre-war survivalist metal cellar... thanks a lot, mate! 🤠
Never seen this channel before and clicked on this video, what a wonderful channel. I really like how effortlessly you break past bethesda's limits in the game using the poles and stuff. And your builds are extremely faithful to vanilla fallout 4. They're also really creative. Keep making videos!
Since I discovered you, I started to learn a few more tricks to restoring, repairing or creating settlements/locations in fallout 4's broken settlement system.
Man, you never let me down with your builds. I love the run down vibe. The only thing I disagree is having run down interior, and I am not talking about the added clutter, that is actually quite nice. I have issue with not deleting broken items that are highlighted yellow. Because you are stuck with random item in the middle of the place and then the extra clutter makes it too much. For example that closet, I would just swap it with newer one. At least in this build the closet wasn't out of place. But then that is just personal preference. Other than that, you are doing amazing job with these, and I love how you are making all this builds without mods. Takes a lot of willpower to get it right and snap without mods. I know the pain! 😂
These tracks are a great solution. You can also make a jig using the ball tracks, this way all the pieces are perfectly aligned without the use of a rug. Looks fantastic
@EZEfallout can you explain a bit more? I tried to make a roof like Shawzzo's and totally fluffed it haha, it had a spine like a snake and more gaps than a picket fence. How do I make a jig to keep things aligned? Thanks in advance 🙂

That roof is genuinely clever. I haven't seen a FO4 builder recommend something like that before.
