@@tomdibbmusic haha it’s a good song indeed … At 0:55 seconds you pull the bass base unit like a toy and that makes my eyebrows lifted (need less weight) I play 3 times a week and carry and install lots of stuff, I hope it’s no heavy at all and it’s not your strong 💪 arms. Purchased two BOSE L1 Pro 16 units. The instructions state it must be updated before it is used. Why it doesn't come updated from the factory is beyond me. The first one updated just fine. The second unit failed to connect. Hours upon hours of trouble shooting, I called BOSE support and they advised me to take it back. Took it back to Guitar Center and came home with a replacement. BOOM! Nothing. Same issue as the last one. Called BOSE support again and they said they would get back to me "within a few days." Took that one back today and received yet a third replacement. This one also fails to update but on top of that, the lighting on the mixer is sketchy and appears to have got past QA. When I return this one, it will be my 4th unit. I am 1/2 tempted to just return both and be done with it. When you shell out this kind of coin for an item, it should work right out the box, no questions asked. What a disappointment.
Yo, Sorry to hear you've had such an ordeal with the Pro 16 so far, I'd certainly not be too impressed either. I haven't personally done an update on the units I'm using, they have been sound straight out the box. I'll have a look in to updating them having read this and see if I can find out any more. I hope you get fixed up soon by Bose and can get out and start enjoying the speakers. I'm sincerely stoked with mine, even those that have been coming to my shows for years have been commenting on the improvement in clarity and over all sound quality. Take it easy and best of luck✌️
