A few viewers asked in the "Starter Characters Only: 4.6 Spiral Abyss" video how I handled difficult enemy lineups in earlier chambers when I needed to change teams for later chambers. For the 5.0 Spiral Abyss, I used the Reverse-Melt team to get past the Fatui Local Legends in 12-1-1, as it was better suited for 12-2-1 and 12-3-1. It ended up being another 3-star run for that chamber.

I’m still raising her, but I currently don’t think I’ll use her much in the Starter Characters Only runs because other characters offer more utility and slightly better buffs. I think the only time I’ll use her is in an enemy lineup where you need Nightsoul against the enemy (e.g., the new boss in 5.1). I’m still discussing ideas for Kachina with the members of Furu’s Discord server, though.
@@TurtleCamera RIP Geo. Noelle is also often not making an appearance. I guess this is just how it goes when you are the least reactive element in the elemental reactions system, haha
@kyogre-blue RIP X2 for Noelle, though the problem isn’t really about her element being the least reactive. It’s more like she gives much less utility to the team than Amber and requires me to spend a lot of time on-fielding as her to get decent value out of her kit. Also, liilli told me that the Amber variant of these teams has higher DPS anyway. Since I often don't find it hard to play without a healer and shielder, I decided to stick with Amber in most of my runs. Nowadays, I only bring out Noelle against Geo shields.
The other starter characters players call them starter characters, so I went with the name too. In my opinion, starter characters are almost proper subset of free characters (I say “almost” because the other players consider Noelle a starter character, even though some may not consider the fates in the beginning as free). That is, the starter characters are free characters, but not all free characters are starter characters (e.g., Kirara was given out for free during the 4.8 event, but newer players have no way of obtaining her that way again).
This alt account is a bit weird because I started it pretty late into the game. I pull directly for specific starter character constellations and Favonious weapons. Other players probably got Barbara’s constellations on accident while pulling for 5-star characters.

@skanimationyt They are, 👍 X3. If they pull off a 9-star run in floor 12, they will be the first person to pull off a C0 starter characters run (unless there’s another starter character player than I’m not aware of that’s done this challenge already).
