He was an artist of the highest caliber 🙏🏻 TAL - take a bow 🙇🏻♂️
7:09 I'd pay good money to see that matting picture
Super work, much appreciated. I am trying to study Tal-Botvinik World Title match. I found going through the variations can be tedious, but I want to learn as much as possible. It is interesting to me that the height of chess genius is given to Fischer most often, yet I know, without a doubt, Tal's health issues prevented him from being at least equal in stature to Fischer!!!
Some sacrifices are sound; the rest are mine. #tal
the most genius is tal, the most creative is tal, the most attacking is tal, the magician is tal, the game changer is tal, the deadliest predator is tal!!!!!.......❤️❤️❤️💕
Is it me or is it just that tal brings all his pieces towards the king n just sacs one..... #tal
The funny thing is that taking the knight and giving up the queen is the preferred move by stockfish, after which it gives black a very slight advantage.
" What you're willing to sacrifice is the measurement of how you love. "
This defines the nature of Legend #Tal towards Chess
#Tal Sacrificed so much pieces that
If we compare Chess with real war then we can say #Tal martyred his life for chess. #Tal
"Much" pieces is incorrect. It should be "many" pieces as they can be counted. Much refers to a quantity where individual units cannot easily be counted but are measured.
Thanks for correcting me :)
but for Tal , he had sacrificed beyond our counting capability
so in that context much looks more appropriate ;) ;)
What a game!! Extreme sacrifice of the queen . Amazing brilliancy to win both of the games they played..! Superb
I bet being a #Tal guy has its advantages
"Tal would never sacrifice his queen in a classical game like this" -Genius #Tal
Didn't you already do a video on this game?? Or was that Mato and/or Suren...
No, this is the only one
Suren only does those stupid puzzles
Andrew Conneely not true, iwatch both channels and both are amazing
It was Mato .. When he said "pawns don't go backward, just kidding" after white played queen to a3
@agadmator's Chess Channel
No Mato already did a video on this and it was in August 2017 >>> check this out : Milko Bobotsov vs Mikhail Tal: Varna 1958 by mato .. By the way, you both are my favorites :)
*Takes his queen*
Tal: I'm bout to destroy this man's whole career.
ooops, he did it again, Mikhail #Tal

This is 3 years later and Leela agrees with Tal that sacrificing the queen is the strongest move in that position.
