    We have this line by Khadgar in Legion : "I was going through some ancient cosmology tomes when I stumbled upon a passage indicating that the prime naaru may have been created by Elune during the great ordering of Light and Shadow"
    The fact he used the word ordering makes me feel like it's going to be relevant to the current Titan implications.

      There is a theory going around that the division of light and shadow is what created the power of time, AKA Aman'thul's powers. Think this was a Pyromancer theory.

    I think it has been hinted at for a while that Turalyon will turn against Anduin and vice versa. Will Anduin maybe abandon the light? Or will we see two different groups who both interpret the light differently fight eachother?
    Anduin seems to interpret "the light" as a vessel of goodness and hope. Turalyon seems to view it more like a literal god/religion.

      Sadly, the Hawkish Turalyon and Greymane plotlines seems largely abandoned now. That was supposed to tie in with the Scarlets and the retaking of Lordaeron due to their claim that they had the true heir. We played that out in the undead heritage quest, and the Gilneas retaking quest with the Scarlets attacking.. Genn acted like a dove and gave his daughter the keys to the kingdom, and Turalyon couldn't even be bothered to show up.

    Accolonn, think on this connection in our lives. When we humans go outside and spend time say, at the beach, or in the mountains and prefer being barefoot? It's because we are literally bound or grounded to our existence on our earth-Azeroth so to speak. That's why we feel so good afterwards. Imagine if we have some "force" trying to change all that? We shouldn’t trust the Naaru…The Prophet Valen warned us in the recording we were directed to after his death on Draenor; if he had reservations, despite his sacrifice, something is not quite right. Then, there’s X’era - the Prime Naaru - and how it tried to control Illidan. The Naaru/Light was also doing something to Turalyon’s mind, as we see in that same cinematic.
    NB: note how many characters have the title Prime. Could be a convention, I suppose, but then the Primus turns up. I do wonder.

    I think the mortal leader will be Yrel though... maybe it would have been Turalyon if he was still under control of the light but its sort of a thing that maybe most miss.... his eyes were glowing yellow and then when Illidan destroys Xe're his eyes go back to brown. Maybe he gets "corrupted" by the light again but I believe Yrel being a zealot is the bigger threat. I see her building up her forces and finding a way to open the portal from alternate draenor to our world and comes through with her lightforged draenor army with giant crystal structures that we know can alter the stuff around them as well... I also think its going to be the first expansion after the World Soul Saga. We come back from Northrend to see a Azeroth with giant crystal shards growing out of the earth and flying fortresses patrolling the sky. That'll be the revamp to the rest of the lower eastern kingdom and Durotar.

    What I'd like speculatoon on is the nature of the First Ones, and the Eternal Ones. Considering Yog calling himself the God of Death, the connection between him, the void, necromantic power, and the nature of Maldraxxus. But then also, the robotic truth of the Eternal Ones, which could imply that the Curse of Flesh was applied to them for them to reach their final forms. So how was it all supposed ti be connected? I'd wager that whoever or whatever the First Ones really were, had the origin of the knowledge and power of both Order AND the Curse of Flesh. Maldraxxus is clearly a landscape of flesh, the Eternal Ones are clearly Flesh transmuted from automatons, Yogg obviously called himself the God of Death and very well could have been siphoning necromantic power from Maldraxxus, Galakrond was clearly a force of the voids unending hunger, but was also clearly displaying necromantic power and resembled mutations similar to the horrors seen in Maldraxxus. Now Gala's essence is extraordinarily valuable, and contained in the dark heart, which is very likely linked to our new bonus "Old God" prison at the bottom of Aberrus, and whatever might have broken free from there, which Blizzard themselves have vaguely differentiated as a new, higher tier of cosmic void energy. There should be some sort of connection between all of this

    • @thetallgrass
      @thetallgrass 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Everyone brushed the Aberrus prison under the rug way too quickly. The implications of that prison, how it was shattered, it's architecture differentiating from titan prisons, its secrecy and proximity to Neltharion, Nelths decent to madness in this new scope of things, his rivalry with Iridikron, and the name of the force that the trinket channels, all seem extremely important to me moving forward.

    • @thetallgrass
      @thetallgrass 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Curse of Flesh potentially originated with the First Ones, was utilized to achieve the perfection of the Eternal Ones and potentially other pantheons, then primarily used by Maldraxxus after the origination and ordering of the Shadowlands, and then stolen by Yogg for his own use? Now the titans crusade against it, seemingly ignorant to the fact that they themselves are automatons made into flesh, because theyve only encountered the Curse of Flesh from the perspective of it coming from Yogg, and know little of the Firtst Ones themselves anymore. But the truth may be that the First Ones intended flesh and robotics to turn hand-in-hand?

    You are still assuming that storytelling is really being practised here. If you look at Dragonflight, phew... just bad. But is it a miracle? It's often been like this with Blizzard. Big announcements, little content. The patches contain events and storylines that are worse than mediocre. A lot of it isn't even a storyline. It's just a video or a 5 minute liberation of Gilenas, something players have been waiting years for.
    Everything is designed for a 5 minute game. Everything. It will take more than Metzen to generate a storyline where you log out and say. Man what a story and I was there. I have little hope.

Using context as a means for saying it is correct is incorrect. I was just trying to refine the point so as to bring it into focus. It seems to me the main cause for naru turning dark is having their light drained. I wouldn’t say it’s “chaos” within us. Muru for example was drained, willingly, to fuel the paladins. Is that chaos? @@TheAccolonn to give a finer point to it. It’s not the presence of mortals specifically that causes a darkened naru. It’s something more specific. To give a comparative example. Every time a raid boss dies, players are the cause. However, there being players fighting the raid boss does not mean the boss will die. It’s something more specific (the proper execution of the fight) so my interest is in what that specific is. They call Murus void form “entropy” or decay of energy into chaos. This entropy happens naturally in nature, so perhaps there is an “observer” bias here (similar to survivorship bias) where all dark naru observed were interacted with by mortals, because how could they not be if we are able to observe them
