They played that song this year right before the corona hit in EU (was fortunate enough to get to see them). Absolutely killed the show and nailed the song. Concerts on tour are between 2h40min - 3h (depends on the set). And they do it almost every night. Concerts on the festivals are shorter obviously.
Real musicians making real music for real people... What a concept!!

I found you cause of these DT's reactions, they're great. As there biggest fan, I should say some great ones to react to that you haven't yet: Take the Time (old vid from 1993 with Kevin Moore on keys, Live in Tokyo), A Change of Seasons (Live Scenes from New York), Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence (Score), Octavarium (Score), In the Presence of Enemies (Chaos in Motion), and The Shattered Fortress (Breaking the Fourth Wall) are some favs. Also a band you should check out is Haken. This album (Scenes from a Memory) should be listened to in its entirety. I don't know if you're up for a 90 minute or so video, but it's an amazing album.
This is it. Beyond this life is what they call it within the album Act1 scene 4, which means it's like a play. It's meant to hear the whole abum because you need context, which you get from the previous musics from the album. I hope I helped.

This song is from the album Metropolis Pt.2, one of the best progressive rock albums of all time.
I will repeat once again it is a must listen, and there's no need to listen the Pt.1, but obviously you should do it.

If you do get a chance to see them live, you will be glad you did. I’ve seen them at least a dozen times. Each show seemingly better than the last. I was fortunate to be in the front row twice. Even though I’ve witnessed them perform this, I still don’t think it’s possible. Like it must be some kind of magic trick or mind game shit. They are really this good... really!

I think you’d really like the live version of Celestial Elixir by Haken. They are similar to Dream Theater.

Doesn't look like you've done anything off of the Awake album. Possibly their most unique sounding album. I'd suggest Scarred since I think it's a good mix of what DT can do outside of their normal sound but it still has all the core DT elements
Scarred is my favorite song from Awake... Masterpiece.
