Interesting thought. To call someone lazy for taking the option of a quieter life, in exchange for high stress - especially if you aren't cut out for it - is a bit unfair. In fact, Id call it smart. With minimalism, I find myself being more self reliant, making my own food, cleaning and maintaining and repairing my home more, bargain hunting etc. which you wouldn't necessarily call lazy.
Good comment. I worked a stressful, physical demanding job for close to 39 years and it was getting to me big time. I was able to retire at 59 and I’m very thankful for that. I’m an introvert and I too like being self sufficient. I’ve been putting new shingles on my house for the last couple of weeks and it feels good knowing I’m saving money and not cutting corners on workmanship. I fix and repair virtually everything myself. I’m still learning to live more simple and cut spending on needless stuff. Spending time in nature is one of the most satisfying things we can do and you’re right, we can all benefit from a quieter life.
Thanks! Id support you anyday.so beautiful and peaceful.

Minimalism uses less letters.
Minimalism is a nice term for lazy.
What’s lazy about it?
