Head GM of Felsong here, feel free to leave any questions you might have, but for now, let me provide some insight on some details that Meytrix didn't say in the video already! 1) The starting level of our new realm will again be 98, and the XP rate is 10x, so leveling to 110 will be a very quick endeavour 2) The realm type / ruleset is PvE, so no forced PvP tag in the open world. Of course PvP in Battlegrounds and Arenas will still be available. 3) While details on the custom class buffs are not final, we can say for sure that we will only buff weak specs, while strong specs will not be affected. OPness for everyone, hooray! 4) Warforge, Titanforge and Tertiary stat proc (Socket, Leech, Avoidance, Speed) chances are buffed for easier gearing! 5) Starting with Nighthold, it will be possible to convert dungeon gear pieces into tier set pieces (known as Catalyst on retail WoW) 6) Emerald Nightmare and Trial of Valor, or rather patch 7.0.3 and 7.1.0 content, are intended to be fast paced as they generally aren't received well by most of the Legion PvE community
idk what makes you think people are gonna trust you and come back after that cash shop bs you put on before even fixing bugs and stop shutting down the server over and over. dont make me start on the run back of the guilds on Night hold were everyone's progress just reset back to the week before it.
First freakz was super popular, with all the bugs and the issues it had , they had a trust community regardless. But the previous felsong launch ruined that trust and reputation, it was completely p2w when you guys were saying it would not be , anyway i will have my doubts on this one regardless of how good it looks.
The launch of Felsong was so bad it killed its population, so my faith in it is gone. I'll just wait for Tauri! Thanks for keeping us updated on new servers though, much appreciated sir!
2:27 - the balance is super subtle. It is just to help underperforming classes at the start of the expansion content. they will revert these balancing buff later one once the 7.3 content is out. That is what they did during the original felsong. Idk. they may change something this time
Love the private server scene updates! My opinion is that it is DOA because the people already know what the Felsong team has to offer - lukewarm scripting and a cash shop . Plus Tauri being so close(yet so far 😅) just makes me say the classics: :"Just wait for Tauri bro"
oh the classic saying 🤐 I am still probably gonna give it a shot and see, ofc I assume it is gonna be pay to win, but if it's an improved/more polished server (which it might be) then I think it could be a solid experience
Are all the Legion servers gonna be pve? The main reason i'm getting a char ready on Tauri and not Stormforge is that even with only 1/4 the pop, i can lvl in peace and not have to dungeon spam. I love pvp, but i really just wanted to relax and not worry about wasting time with ganks. Plus on Tauri almost everything just works so far.
At this point, custom features could keep them alive. I guess. Maybe. Some people still like blizzlike, some like it faster. So players can choose between: Tauri: grinding from level 1 a character. Then grinding Legion content. All of that will took months to get your first raid. OR Felsong: Start straight in Legion content with high xp rates. Your first raid will be in days. But alot of Legacy content is broken, so no good tmogs fro you. Server for those who like raiding and M+ only.
@@MEYTRIX Yup, I'm back on Tauri now to prepare lol. I've been tracking their Legion changelog and the devs seem to be doing an amazing job. I just hope that there'll be a decent amount of players once it launches.
I played on their first legion server waayyy back, it was good, but half of the quests we're just bugged outta their minds. The older dungeons are a no go, either you can't finish them, or you can't open a certain door cuz it's not scripted correctly, whatever the case may be, it was lazy scripted that's for sure. The legion content worked alright, the mythic dungeons we're also 50/50 if they worked, I remember having the feeling of having like a coin flip in my head if a certain boss would die, or give loot at all. But it was the only server at the time with a legion core iirc. The problem these private servers have is they don't ever share their codes, they steal someone else's core for example the most famous Azerothcore. They steal the whole thing, then 1 server for example fixes Ulduar, but another server fixes Naxx, but on the first server Naxx isn't fixed and on the second server Ulduar isn't fixed, so it's a lose lose situation for the player. I hope they fixed almost everything, I know the first server was a mess due to it being super early, the core was fresh etc. I sincerely hope after all these years they managed to fix every little darn bug and it becomes a great mainstream private legion server like it was before !!
I hope they did some work since the original Felsong, I assume they didn't just leave it untouched since the launch and actually kept improving it, but we'll see just how it is very soon ourselves
Look the reason felsong messed up wasn't just bad scripting, because even the first freakz launch had worse scripting, they messed up when they introduced the gear shop and sh1t like that , population dropped like crazy
Uhm, Green Fire questline has worked on Felsong since pretty much forever, there was a slight hiccup with a dialogue option on one of the NPCs, but that was fixed shortly after (it did require you to abandon and retake the quest, which was announced on Discord and we've also communicated this on any ticket made about it)
uff, that's a crazy Legion year! Tauri, Felsong, and at least uwow. Tauri will probably the best scripted legion server, but uwow will have the highest population. they have now 2 succesful Legion realms with thousands of player each realm even with the new fresh launched one released this year. That will be hard for felsong and tauri to get that player base. Otherweise, liku u said, the realms will die fast unfortunately :/ cuz ppl don't want to play on low pop server :/
are we talking about Firestorm Legion from 7-9 years ago or Firestorm Dragonflight right now? Hard to tell, and I haven't played too much of the OG Felsong to be able to judge based on that, but I will probably invest the time and see how good this one's gonna be
tbh i dont trust on firestorm staff . i was on firestorm since sl playing pvp to many cheat exploit bug and most gm sleeping (imagine some caster casting spell even with stun lol)
do you know that playing 7.0.3 content on 7.3.5 balance and legendarie is not blizzlike, custom server is the future of private server cause doing blizzlike is cool but to do the same mistake as blizzard did is just stupid
So they should do blizzlike and make the same mistake as blizzard did i wonder how it's going to be a blizzlike legion with the right balance in the right patch, no crossfaction, no leg reroll, ap research and thing like that i wonder how it's going to be haha

Meh low quality scripts ..not worth it and if i remember right Freakz always had toxic ppl camping harasing ..so no thx.. I remember any expansion i played was so badly scripted to you just had to kill it like a dummy :D
1. Constantly bugged arena queue interface 2. Bugged inbuild raid frames. Constantly not showing all players 3. Constat blizz UI lua errors 4. Client rooting after certain debuff removal such as mind controll ursols vortex, scatter 5. Super long loading screen 6. Getting stuck in water when mounted up in BG by pressing space button. 7. Badly scripted damage formulas for some classes like we monk 8. A lot of hackers and scripters. I could go on. Storforge is far from perfect.

Storforge mop has way more bugs than pandawow. Only thing great about it is community
