Both came out in October this year, and both have a gay male lead. In the series the male lead is played by Nam Yoonsu, and in the movie he is played by Noh Sanghyun. Both movie and series are adapted from the novel of the same title, written by Park Sangyoung, their plot differs as they focus on different aspects of the story and characters. If this video presents correct information, then the actor who won the award is the one who played in the movie version.

He looks quite a lot different from his role in the movie. It was a good movie but ran out of steam in the last 2 episodes IMO. He is a good actor.
