“It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood… Won’t you be mine? Won’t you be my neighbor?” Some of us might be familiar with this song - the theme song of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. There is a danger in thinking of Jesus as a deified Mister Rogers with a beard - a nice middle-aged man wearing a cardigan sweater and slippers, who loved children and died on a cross. Mister Rogers might have attributes of Jesus, but Jesus is so much more! The Jesus of Revelation comes to us in amazing power and glory while still loving us deeply. Join us this Sunday as we see “Christ Unveiled” from Revelation 1:9-20.
