I’m sure they’ve improved their plastic since I last bought something made by HIYA, but I’ve had 6-7(predators and injustice)break just trying to move joints. They do look very cool. They are on my list but there are so many above them!! Good stuff, keep it up!
I bought a group of their WW2 4" figures and they were the opposite of stiff. They are super rubbery. And all the guns are curled up because of how soft they made them. I have a Kane in Spacesuit (Alien movie) coming. I'll give it the smell test.
@@raypaz2947 I got a Hiya Face Hugger Kane and its great! Also, paid $10 for it, so that always makes things seem better when you get them on the cheap.
Are you sure you can order direct from Hiya Toys because when I have tried to order I always get a message that they cannot ship to my address so how are you ordering them directly from them?
Some of their toys aren't available in the US. Like their 1/18 cobra commander and storm shadow. So maybe it was one of those figures you were trying to order. I bought 6 WW2 figures from them and they did show up. Small Joes has many of the figures as does Cotswold Collectibles if you want to stay stateside.
I am not sure how to order them (I live in the US and Hiya will not ship to the US). Any ideas how to order these for $20-$30 each and ship them to the US?
If you're talking about the $20 Cobra Commander figure, the Nerdzoic online toy store HAD them but sold out. So he may get a second batch at some point.BUT, he was charging $34 for them. When I ordered 6 ww2 figures from HIYA, they charged a flat $20 shipping fee to get to me from china. So if you weigh the $20 shipping price in, the higher US toy price might end up being lower in the long run. I'll keep you posted if I can find another source for those figures. Currently Smalljoes.com has 11 of the Hiya Joes up for pre-order at $29 ea but no cobra commander figs.
I own the snake eyes and the only thing I have encountered is the hand being easily taken off. He stands great though. Still hoping the reissue the storm shadow. Though I doubt that will happen
Mark just so you know these were basically taken from the design team at Hasbro. With hiya adding their own flourishes to them. I own the snake eyes and I like him. He stands well. The plastic is nice. The drawback is the hands on these figures. They come off easily but I can’t judge that from just the one figure. Once a I get a few of them in hand I’ll come back and comment. To help those out that are interested in getting into this line.
@@ActionFigureAtorium yeah if you see it hop on it. Get it while it’s hot. I have noticed when you think about it too Long. Which I’ve done. It’s gone. That’s how I missed out on storm shadow. I’m waiting for my cobra commander. Let me know if it’s ok to send you the name of another avenue for people to get the figures.
I like both lines. I have Storm Shadow from both lines. I appreciate your video. Your video was little unfair though. You used the polished promotional photos for the 3 3/4" figures and some generic photos for the 6". Thanks for the information 👍🏽
Valid criticism my friend. Thanks for sharing. I think the thrust of the video was to say to people that not only is 3.75 not dead, you can find figures in popular mainstream lines (GI JOE) with the look and articulation of the big dog toy companies in that scale. I especially like that you're into both lines.
Definitely better paint color choices and application on some figures vs Classified. The Destro and Stormshadow are boss! However, the figures are priced the same as Hasbro for nearly half the size figure so I can't justify adding these to the collection. Perhaps if the price is cut by at least 50% then maybe.
Dang it...The Hiya Toys Baroness and Cobra Commander look much much much much better..wish they were the same size so that I can collect them right next to the Classified series.
I always agree with the 'its over priced' comments. That is my philosophy and it guides most of my purchases. The point of this video is to say to the 3.75 collectors that if you think you're missing out on the details and 'newness' of the Classified line, there is this Hiya Toys version. thanks for the comment amigo. keep em coming.

I had no issues with my predators or aliens

The Firefly that you compared was the second Classified version, not the first. The Hiya toy was based on the first.
copy that. thanks for the clarification. As always, I'm just pulling images out of the air.

Great review the website says November/pre order but did you get yours early or is that just a technicality
I got a hiya Robocop way back when and the ankles were so loose he couldn’t stand even on a figure stand. Been wary of them because of that.
I'll take a hit for the team and get the Baroness. I have the Super7 Baroness so we'll make fun of one of them or both.
I own the snake eyes and the only thing I have encountered is the hand being easily taken off. He stands great though. Still hoping the reissue the storm shadow. Though I doubt that will happen
The Hiya Cobra Trooper is incredible looking.
Yeah. The product looks really good. I think some folks are dubious of the quality. If these were $20 instead of $30 it would be a hit.
@@ActionFigureAtoriumtotally agree. These should fall at around $15-18 tops.
the last good line was 25th anniversary and pursuit of cobra stuff
great vehicles in the PoC line. The doom cycle, ice cutter and those updated exo suit mechs all look cool today.
I totally agree with you on that. Those are my favorite G.I.Joe figures of all time❣️🔥

Why does it cost so much more for a 4 inch vs 6 inch figure? (isn't Acid rain like $60 - $80 for each figure?)
I'm going to guess its perceived value. Like the Apple iPhone. They charge more because people pay it.

@@ActionFigureAtorium well done, sir!👏👏👏
I agree, hiya baroness is better
The hiya sculpts are great but the hands are terrible because of the peg joint
That’s probably the weakest point

great comment regarding the cost comparison! I hadn't even done the math yet on that.

$25 for something half the size of classified? Nah man.

I agree the hiya toys versions are better the classified look more cartoonish the hiya toys look more realistic
I was reluctant to say it but I think the Hiya ones look pretty good. We'll see how breaky they are tho.
$25 is bad at Ross stores I got croc master for $11.99 instead of $44.99
That's a scoop on croc master! The 2 best Joe figures are Croc Master and Freedom/Spirit cuz they come with cool looking pets.
And you compared the hiya firefly to the v2 hasbro firefly. The v1 is exactly the same
Corny?! How dare you sir!
